This is going to seem like yet another shitty /pol/ racebait thread, but it's a genuine question.
How good would the USA national basketball team be if it only consisted of white (not mixed) players? Would they still walk the World Championships this year or would they be on a par with teams like Spain and France?
Argentina was the first and only team to defeat a team USA that had NBA players (USSR and Yugoslavia defeated them in the WC but team USA only had u23 college players) and we were very lucky and it was our best generation of players in history, and still USA would have defeated us 9 of 10 games

The best whites in the NBA are European but no European country has 6 or 7 good players, at least not on NBA level and not on different positions
Xavier Williams
C. Zeller / Mas. Plumlee Love / Meyers Leonard Hayward / Parsons Redick / J. Harris / Korver McConnell / Arcidiacono / Huerter

I went to watch my local team Newcastle Eagles play a few years back when they were selling tickets half price. Eagles were back to back British champions at the time and played against a 'USA college select' team and were comfortably beaten.
Eagles best player was American too! I'd love for us to git gud, but with thousands of football clubs around it's hard to attract kids to play other sports.

There are really few basketball plaeyrs on high level that are shorter than 185cm, so football and basketball don't really share the same talent pool
I guess +6'6 guys in Britain stick to rugby, you need some second rows
Samuel Morgan
No one care that shity sport here
Zachary Reyes
It's the main sport in some relatively big cities like Bahia Blanca and Mar del Plata

This isn't 2006 anymore, the current spanish NT is not that good I don't think we'll even make it to bronze this year
Cooper Hill
No, its football.

Bahia Blanca : Olimpo (most popular team ) > football
Mar del Plata: Aldosivi (most popular team) > football
Chase Nguyen
Bahia Blanca and Mar del Plata have strong basketball teams that were historically in the first division and win titles, while their football club (only one per city) only made it to the first division 2 or 3 times each, with less than 10 years over the last 100
Trust me, local media has more coverage on basketball than fooball here, and the games get more attendance
