I just don't get it though. There are sore losers but sore winners? Why do all that stuff in the first place? Do mexicans have no sense of humility? Its not like we did something to them in the first place. Its all so uncalled for.

Fun fact: The guy who did the art actually doesn't care about football at all. The first picture he drew was with Germany on top and he didn't even watch the cup. He didn't even know Mexico won until it was pointed out to him so there were probably no hard feeling.

Another fun fact: First of all it's a much greater deal for Mexico to defeat Germany than the other way around. That is not true, flag burning or fucking or whatever mexicans did both. Is shunned by everybody both leftwing leaning and rightwing leaning for good reason. The only way you could justify it is during occupation.
Its a major insult to everything this country stands for, after all the flag represents all people living in a country. That doesn't fly with anybody, at least in europe.

Doubt it that he didn't care, also he made much more than just one pic and he basically kickstarted the whole thing. I think he also browsed Yea Forums at that time so he can't pretend to be clueless. I can understand if he didn't have any hard feelings but doing that kind of stuff recklessly is not very smart.
