There's nothing wrong with it. The rest of the world is good at it, American and Canadian men simply do not play it enough to care it, a consequence of a culture that has always dismissed soccer as a sport for children.

Honestly, if we actually invested resources and emotion into it, we could become decent, (i dont think we'll ever become world class) but the fact that we've managed to reach WC quarter finals despite giving zero shits about the sport is rather amusing. Like we are actually in the global top 30 according to the FIFA rankings.

Lots of goals doesn't equal good game. Probably the most entertaining game I have ever seen was 0-0 nail biter where all the action happened in middle field, like 5 shots on goal, combined for both teams.
