The game has changed and it's not easy to compare eras. For example, AI would be called for carrying every time he touched the ball if he were judged by 60s rules. Actually most modern players would. I really dont know basketball well but Olajuwan, Jordan, Chamberlain and several others, if given modern day equipment would be the best players today. Example, Wayne Gretzky in the NHL today would get obliterated but Michael Jordan in today's NBA would probably be the best player

This list must have been compiled right before Dirk actually won his ‘ship, that’s the only explanation. Ranking him 45th all time before that run would have at least been understandable if not still an under-ranking of his talents, but absolutely no way somebody could think a guy with 2 Finals appearances, a ring, an MVP, and a FMVP should be below all these 2nd or 3rd fiddle scrubs and ringless chumps.
