This is what I hate about the Cubs. They get to a guy early and it looks like they are going to blow them out, then they let the guy settle in and shut them out for rest of the game. Feels like Cardinals have the momentum because you know Cubs bullpen is going to crack.

I think Baez should have won it last year because he was playing between 2B, SS, and 3B all year and still put u[ great offensive numbers. Yelich this year has more HRs, better avg etc than Baez. Most likely a lock in unless he collapses after all star break.

It's difficult to predict the exact flight of the ball. The players are trained to attempt to field the ball and then one of them will call off the others. Rather would have 3 guys run to the ball and one catch it than one guy run to the ball and the wind carries it over his head.

At the ballpark, the temp is 70, and the wind is 12 mph from the NE. Wrigley is located less than 1 mile west of Lake Michigan. The winds can change and affect the ball trajectory. At any park, it's a good idea to have backup if a player loses the ball.
