imagine getting personally offended by someone disliking the EU. unfathomable
I hope we leave UEFA too and set up the Commonwealth FA. Let's be real here, you need us way more than we need you.
Who's the most anti-EU in the UK? Here the labor, farmer's party and anything left is the most opposed to it. I have the impression it's reversed in most EU countries.
>when are these cunts fucking off from Europe already
Most of the foreign migrants are men
and anything left of those are*
>let us
kek
>UK: We're gonna leave no matter what
>EU: k
>UK: No deal is better than a bad deal!!
>EU: k
>UK: Oh darn, it's getting close to the deadline, s-so how a-about we c-come up with a d-deal now, old chap?
>EU: k
>UK: So let's just agree that I get to cherrypick all the good stuff, while getting out of all the responsibilities that come with being a EU member state, okay?
>EU: lol no
>UK: W-what kind of deal d-do you have in mind then?
>EU: *gives deal terms agreed on by all 27 EU member states*
>UK: We reject that!!
>EU: So no deal it is then?
>UK: No, we reject that as well!!!
>EU: What do you want then?
>UK: .....
>EU: End of March is approaching quite fast, you have to propose something.
>UK: C-could y-you g-give us a b-bit more time maybe?
>EU: Ugh, alright you have until the end of October
>UK: *wastes time again by inner-country political chaos*
Ah yes, the EU won't leave you leave, sure sure
Maybe have some balls yourselves and finally goddam leave, we won't stop you....
The original feels so much like blatant propaganda it hurts
This edit is based though
UKIP mostly, then there's a few Conservative and a few Labour. UKIP are nationalist-populist larping nazi racists.
Brexit support is not the majority position of the parliament, and that's one of the problems they've had with actually implementing in.
That was also one of the reasons the then PM Cameron pushed for the referendum, they were absolutely certain that brexit would lose badly therefore weakening the position of those supporting it.
sorry user, it's not going to happen, it's just going to drag on like this until we're all dead
We'd love to leave. Brexit party is polling at #1.
It's our europhile politicians who won't let us. Traitors.
This. It's why he fucked off as soon as the result was announced because his PR stunt backfired dramatically.
This made my day
Labour just beat them in Peterborough.
How many seats does that give for le Brexit Party?
Soon, brother
What's their deal
Labour are pro-Brexit too tbf
perfect
By 600 votes. They scraped a victory against a party that didn't exist 2 months ago. Brexit party polling #1 nationally.
what's even worse is that they could simply choose to be like switzerland and be done with it, right?
no
>Brexit party is polling at #1.
you are special lad
>facebook commenters tend to be utter mongs with little grasp of reality
Quelle surprise!
Cope
damn, when did the lib dems get so strong?
weren't they a meme not too long ago?
Not enough arabs and blacks
Few weeks ago in the euro elections. All the Labour voters finally realised Corbyn is pro Brexit so they've fled to Lib Dems.
you mean aboriginals?
The EU-Switzerland relationship is based on like thousands of single, individual treaties that were negotiated over decades
Nobody wants to go through such process again.
The decision is between a Norway model (which is sort of a soft Brexit which would see the UK continue paying into the EU budget like Norway does) or a no deal model which would bring the relationship between the UK and EU down to the status of for example EU-Russia or EU-Mongolia or EU-whatever status.
Even the relationship between the EU and Japan or Canada would be closer, because we have trade agreements with them and with the US there are also some business agreements in place.
With the UK, all economic relationship would be brought down to WTO level, which is like the minimum level for countries not at war with each other.
lib dems are the only party (in england) that is totally against brexit
Commonwealth FA will get 1.5 wc slots lmao. Australia will upset you every other wc and you'll be in playoffs with Uruguay
what even is the original i can't find it anywhere
brexit is the greatest red herring of the 21st century. its literally nothing but a viral marketing campaign to make some washed up politicians rich lmao. even if it eventually goes through, what will change significantly? some people will get annoyed because of tigther border controls. some fishers will make 6 digits more revenue. wow.
No, as there are 2 entirely notions clashing, making actual deals impossible:
- EU will never back on their "4 freedoms of movements", aka freedom of movement for service, goods, funds and people
- Brexit is heavily based on a reject of the fredom of movement for people and don't want to back on that
The "deals" proposed by the EU were actually extremely soft and vague, and were pretty much "let's agree to a very miniam provisional agreement on trade while giving more delays to negociate all the rest". UK didn't want that.
And of course there's the problem of the Irish border that seems impossible to solve in my opinion.
We'll get to keep JFs out if we want.
>if we want
special lad
>Cameron desperately sets up referendum to save his career
>Murdoch, UKP and neocons start spreading literal fake news campaign
>no one actually cares because "it wouldn't happen anyway"
>UK citizens living in EU not allowed to participate
>based retards actually make it happen, even though it's close
>multilaterists shocked af, based retards dream of the glorious past
>government fails to make a deal
>parliament fails too
>britain actually faces huge problems, f.ex. ireland border and higher prices
>british politics in shambles
I need more popcorn
You won't
>The top countries represented in terms of arrivals were: China, India, Poland, the United States, and Australia.
>The main countries of previous nationality of those naturalised in 2014 were: India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Nepal, China, South Africa, Poland and Somalia.
WELL you will stop a few thousand poles and a hundred germans from entering but the rest..i don't know m8.
Regarding the Irish border, we have already a separate common travel agreement with the UK, the issue would be non-irish non-uk people moving between but we will work together with British border control as we already do and it really shouldn't be any cause for concern.
There's a lot of fear mongering here about the northern Ireland border but again, we already have a treaty, Good Friday Agreement. Keeping the border between the north and the rest of Ireland is very important for people on both sides of that border and it would be extremely unpopular (and potentially dangerous) for any changes regarding that.
If they are so worried they can put the customs boundary in the Irish sea, but the northern Ireland loyalists will become upset by that, so it looks as though the best solution is to continue working with each other on immigration control, customs, all border related matters.
I think it's more about exiting the customs union and common market, freedom of movement seems like not that much of a big deal
They could do that but ofc they don't want to cancel trade with Europe either so they are trying to get to best of both worlds which is obviously not going to happen because lel fuck them, we're not taking that shit deal, so it's stuck and the only way to unstuck it is either a cuck Brexit deal (remain in the customs union plus swallow up all the regulations, pay moneys, etc) or fuck off a la Trump style ala hard Brexit, which I'm a fan of, as It would leave them in an absolute state.
>Peterborough is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
The public have wanted immigration lower for decades. Politicians never deliver it, it's the same with Brexit. The reason it's going shit is because none of the politicians actually want to do it, so they purposefully frustrate it at every step in the hopes that people just get bored of it and we stay by default.
We should just no deal at this point.
Brexit Party. Clue is in the name
The EU and the fourth reich will crumble after Brexit, we're just jumping off a sinking ship and into a much better future as the 51st state of America! BMB
Would welcome free movement with the US desu
>Cameron desperately sets up referendum to save his career
And his party. The conservatards were torn (and still are) between the visceral anti-europeans and the pragmatics, and electorally challenged by God-Emperor Farage and the Ruperto Murdoch mass media (the Sun, Fox News and other fantastic tirades). So, David Fucktarded Cameron went half-ass into a referendum, got cucked as expected and sent the country and his party down misery road.
>*organise his own brain drain*
>If they are so worried they can put the customs boundary in the Irish sea
Isn't that basically what the Irish Backstop is?
accurate desu. This country is a shithole and will only go downhill. I'm trying to leave asap
Good idea, I love Mexican food
Brexit isn't going to change the immigration much at all and it certainly isn't going to stop career politicians swindling their way through things with media and "investors" help
We are so close to a guy Fawkes scenario and some are completely oblivious to it.
In our country radical leftists (2 of them in parliament) favour PTexit, while the socialists and the soc dems are against. The chance of it happening is exactly 0% though, it's mainly a meme talking point to get votes by shit talking the EU once in a while
The DUP are vehemently opposed to it, they see it as an internal border within the UK (which it is).
Well we've already had one MP murdered and a plan to kill a second one just to send a message
What would Portugal achieve by getting out?
It is but the DUP can fuck right off
Labour promised an EU referendum in 2005 elections and then Blair refused to hold one after they won.
This has been going on for much longer than Cameron. British public only ever wanted to be part of a trade bloc, not a European superstate.
Even the remain people here never say what's so good about the EU. They only talk about how bad it is to leave, they never argue anything positive about being in the EU because they know nobody believes it here.
>Even the remain people here never say what's so good about the EU
The freedom of trade? the freedom of information sharing? the enhanced cross european funding?
kek
its impossible due to the border with spain
We don't need to be in the EU to have the first 2, lots of countries have free trade deals with the EU. Also we pay more in membership fees than we get back in funding.
when the fuck did brits ever invade russia?
or poland? or ukraine? or scandinavia? (it was the other way around)
It would mean that northern Ireland would essentially still have full trade within the EU, they voted remain up there anyway and they need money so it makes sense really.
Yea Forums is a remain board
So why was Little Leo waving his fists about "500 armed Gardai"?
It was fucking bizarre and rightly a spokesperson came out after and basically told the press to ignore him.
I'd love to see him try to partition Ireland under arms but maybe someone told him what 16th Air Assault was.
>Also we pay more in membership fees than we get back in funding.
that is how most memberships work unless its a literal pyramid scheme or an illegal racket.
There will always be those that pay more
He's an actual faggot please ignore him
Didn't promise an EU referendum, they promised a referendum on the EU constitution.
It was voted against in various places so they turned it into a treaty which doesn't require domestic consent and got the leaders to sign it quietly. Brown ended up signing it virtually in secret.
Yeah and I don't want it to be us paying more. I don't want to be part of some United States of Europe. Let us buy and sell to each other and leave it at that.
my friend, we don't have a lot to sell outside of education, media and pharma.
Crimean war
Britain wasn't even the most Eurosceptic part of the EU in the years leading up to the referendum, France and Denmark consistently polled at similar levels. The difference is that David Cameron is a braindead shithouse and decided to bet the countries future and his own political career on resolving an internal dispute within his party.
I don't think the public were particularly stupid to vote it either, they were sold a vision and a blue print by candidates who ran when they had the chance to implement it. Johnson and Gove should be blacklisted from politics for what they did. If we had people in charge who believed in what they were doing and had a vision for the country they wouldn't have tried to frustrate the process.
Crimean War. Also British troops were in Northern Russia and Siberia during the Russian Civil War backing the White Russians.
Proof that whilst the left is flying Trump balloons and have half a million partying on the streets of London, the right is actually prepared to take ACTION against the traitors attempting to destroy democracy and keep us in the prison that is EU.
If Brexit isn't delivered and I mean the NO DEAL Brexit we all voted for, there WILL be trouble. Mark my words, no amount of milkshakes can quell the rage of true patriots.
2018 m8
alright alright, not sure if this counts as an invasion, but let's count it anyway
still doesn't explain a bunch of other countries on there, like poland or norway/denmark/finland
They invaded Norway when it was occupied by Nazi Germany, if that counts.
There was a time for brexiteers in the months after the referendum to get the whole country on board together and present an actual idea and plan what was going to happen. Instead they've spent the time flinging shit back and forth and doing fuck all
Green Party are too
Leftists would claim this "victory" and they'd never be voted again
Gove was the main problem. If he hadn't stabbed Boris in the back we'd have had a Brexiteer PM instead of May (who voted Remain) and maybe he'd have actually had the balls to make some decisions.
I hope we don't leave. We had the most non-eu migration in ages last year. EU migrants are just going to be replaced by more brown people.
