How did they implode so badly?
Camden Hughes
Cooper Morris
salah injured, so liverpool's right side was actually fast and that was enough to exploit coutinho's unwillingness to drop back to help alba
Wyatt Reed
Dembele's injury also meant that Barca themselves didn't have the pace they were banking on to exploit the holes in Liverpool's memepress.
Honestly most of their players are too old and lack the physicality to match Liverpool's style.
Ayden Clark
>Help Alba
Alba can't defend a morbidly obese Asian man taller than fire hydrant and slower than his own bloodstream.
Benjamin Scott
Busquets couldn't foul a sprinting nigger to save his mother from being stabbed.
Andrew Walker
I dont think so, they were almost 5-0 up in the first leg. Surely that means they have the capability to outplay pool even with slow players
Robert Rogers
they didn't outplay liverpool at camp nou nor liverpool didn't outplay barca at anfield, both games were extremely close the only difference was the efficiency in front of the goal, you'll tell me that's everything but both times both teams had similar level.
Benjamin Scott
Barca is just pass to Messi, hope he carries
Works 90% of the time but when it doesn't no one else steps up cause they don't know how else to play
Alexander Torres
This.
The whole system is based on Messi and faith alone.
Brandon Wilson
Remember how after the liverpool match people were saying that barca got dominated because they had less possession and shit.
That's because barca didn't try to outpace or out muscle Liverpool. They let them have possession in the less dangerous areas of the pitch and didn't waste much energy there. Their success in the first leg relied more on the technical excellence of their squad with the clinical finishing of messi and to a lesser extent suarez.
The only time where they matched the pace of liverpool players was when Dembele came and the sitter he missed was a chance created because of his pace.
Julian Gonzalez
messi is not very good at least not as much as he's praised for
Leo Powell
lmao
Ryder Collins
Barcelona plays like the Argentine NT 2.0, even Suarez is turning into Higuain
Gavin Nguyen
based
Brayden Perez
>ow did they implode so badly
Their players weren't used to playing against teams from a superior league
Nolan Reyes
Messi is mentally weak
Why do you think he has so many kids? He collapses when the pressure gets to him, cant hold it in ,then retreats into himself, sulks and cries to finish
Good thing he is rich because he's obviously disappointing in bed, you can see that even the local street whore he married kept her ((distance)) from the beta as kids. Maradona is thrice the man his mom was and even the faggot Ronaldo is more of a man than him
Sebastian Rodriguez
Messi won 4 CLs, 3 finals were against English clubs. Messi has more goals against English clubs than any other non-Spanish league
Daniel Cruz
valverde and his complete lack of intelligence and a bunch of washed up boomers that can't even run anymore
Charles Ramirez
lot of thought went into this. You've got issues.
Hunter Reed
> Messi is mentally weak, Why do you think he has so many kids?
Jack Reed
Messi also doesn't play for an English team so these stats mean absolutely nothing
Christian Murphy
it must be a mentality thing
you don't crash out of the knock out stages of the european cup two years in a row in bizarre/humiliating/unlikely circumstances
even if the manager doesn't know how set up the team or whatever the issue with valverde is, there's like 10 world cup winners and 20 european cup winners in that squad; they surely should know how to win knock out ties
Jack Robinson
Are you suggesting that he constantly scores against the top 4 English clubs that make it to the CL but he wouldn't do it in a cold night in Stoke?
James Barnes
The most influential players of the squad are getting older and not so good anymore and like Valverde because they are untouchables.
Tbh I think Valverde is just a puppet of the board. That's why Barcelona never got a big name manager like Wenger or Mourinho after Guardiola left. Only mid table managers would accept the job in these conditions. Guardiola only left because of the actual board who got re-elected in 2015 because of that treble.
Barcelona needs a away goal scorer. They needed a player like Neymar or Griezmann in the away games against Roma and Liverpool. Dembele was supposed to do this job. They need someone who would exploit the roles of the enemy press and score the away goal in the counter attack, killing the game.
Sebastian Turner
kill yourself clueless street shitter
Easton King
they underestimated the Anfield atmosphere and intensity even though everybody knows what a meme it is
Cameron Gomez
lmao their form isn't eternal, too many busted players on that squad
David James
coutinho literally doing nothing and screwing up pass transitions
bad, VERY bad defending
annnnnd that's about it I would say. It's enough for a vertical team like Liverpool to score 4 or even more
Adrian Sanchez
WELCOME TO ANFIELD.
Tyler Williams
Barca were really lucky in the first leg, Liverpool lost 3-0 but could have won 3-1.
Ayden Reed
"luck" is always needed too, that TAA's bad cross would have never reached wiljnadum if it weren't deflected
Mason Myers
Barcelona have star players, Liverpool have a system
Systems always win
Cooper Hughes
Austin Gray
