Depends your definition of improving. Arsenal have a better points and reached a final this year over last year. Arsenal's problems have nothing to do with the manager and have to do with the board. I recommend you read some stuff up about it. The board won't allow good players to stay because they don't want to pay the wages. Not even SAF could fix the situation.
I disagree. The only 'improving' can be that Arsenal were never at the apex when Emery came and thus could only slightly improve or get slightly worse. United are able to spend £200m-£300m a window without breaking a sweat. Arsenal haven't even spent that in 5 years. Their wages are the 2nd lowest of the 'big six' and they're going to go lower now that Ramsey, Welbeck, Cech and stuff have gone. Might even be below Spurs by the end of the window.

Ozil was much better under Wenger than under Emery and they're going to get rid of him. Ramsey is also leaving on a free. And Arsenal can't afford any replacements for them. It's true the board is largely to blame but Emery is helping to make things even worse in the long run.

Ozil has been hit and miss for years. In fact, if you'd watch anything instead of being a Liverpool customer, you'd know that Wenger was criticised for playing Ozil despite him constantly performing badly. Emery at least had the balls to drop him. As for Ramsey leaving on a free, again, if you weren't a Liverpool customer, you'd know that Emery has no say in this and the board has already admitted that it was due to them not being willing to pay his wages. Emery has no decision in that matter. Emery cannot make money appear out of nowhere. I don't rate him either but you could have the best manager in history manage them and he'd fuck it up because he can't turn shit into gold.
Andrew Rodriguez

I did watch him. He was at least half hit half miss before Emery. Now he's 1% hit 99% miss. I know it's not Emery's fault he can't keep Ramsey, maybe I phrased that poorly.
If you really want Emery to fix the club, he needs to make decisions that will leave the club in administration, or at least close to it, because that's the only way to get rid of Kroenke. Then we can talk about improving the club once they get a better owner. Then I can agree that Emery was the right choice.

If he plays at his best, he's a genuinely dangerous winger. Creates space well and runs into it, through good one twos. Arsenal are fucked mate. Not gonna spend more than £45m, fucked wage structure, worse defence in the league with no real links to any good defenders to improve it. United are more attractive than Arsenal because they are a bigger name in Football and will spend the money needed to attempt to improve, just the board is incompetent and lacks any real long term planning. They need to get a proper plan and structure in and fuck Woodward out of the club to really attempt to rebuild. Arsenal have a stingy owner, an average manager who doesn't understand the league and probably the worst squad in the top 6 overall and are probably the most likely to drop out of the top 6 because Kroenke isn't interested in winning anything if he has to invest massively into it.

City Liverpool Spurs Chelsea (If no transfer ban) Emery is clueless in the League, doesnt know his best squad and has done nothing to address the issues with the defence Arsenal have had for 6 or 7 years. Away from home Arsenal where terrible this season and bottled a really good chance of finishing top 4 because Emery kept rotating his defence and midfield every game without rhyme or reason Ole is shit as well, but United will sack him without a second thought if he does badly next season (finishing without CL football), Arsenal won't sack Emery next season unless they have a real disaster of a season (finishing without EL football) and even if they do they wont spend money to improve the squad to compete with the other top 6 teams.
>he doesn't bandwagon a team in every top European division
Eli Harris
>worse defence in the league That's just not true. Even even true in the 'Big 6', when United finished below them. But it is their worst area. Had Holding and Bellerin remained uninjured, I suspect it would have been a bit better. Torreria being injured was also an issue (also banned). Arsenal's major issue is that despite any manager bring able to see the major issues, they can't do anything about it. If the owner doesn't give the £500m that needs to be spent to challenge again, then you're fucked. This isn't even a case of 'Well FFP will fuck them if they spend £500m' this is a case of the owner using FFP as a reason why he won't. As for 'no real links to any good defenders' is a bit of a shit reason because nobody is linked to anybody, seriously.
What you should say is 'They're linked to defenders but the owner won't allow them to be bought'.

Same reason as Arsenal's form went to shit after going on a 22 unbeaten streak and beating United 2-0. It went to their head. They should have comfortably finished 3rd.
The win streak was purely motivation from mou leaving. Speaks volumes to how hated Mou was and what kind of attitude a lot of the players have.
Christopher Cook
Emery doesn't plan to improve the defence from most of his comments throughout the season, he is happy with it (or so he said). He called Mustafi 'very consistent' which shows he has faith in him. He wants to sign more wide midfielders/wingers as a priority based the players linked to the club (as much as its a meme to use it where there is smoke there is fire and it shows an idea of where the club is targeting to sign players) Uniteds defence is gash but most of it is down to the fact the midfield offers them fuck all protection and they can't control the midfield most games alongside that so usually end up under pressure. I would say Lindelof and Shaw this season have been better defensively than anyone Arsenal have in there backline in those positions, the rest of the defense is shit but everyone knows that. Koscienly was great but is way past it now, Mustafi is useless, Monreal isnt good enough at CB and is an average left back, Holding has massive injury problems and can't really be trusted to stay fit. Bellerin is there only good defender.

To be fair, Mustafi was similar to VvD in performance stats. The issue isn't Mustafi per se, but more to do with their midfield being gash and unable to retain the ball. Arsenal had the worst ball retention in their own half. That puts any defence under pressure. Now, during the season, he can't go 'Mustafi is shit I fucking hat the stupid kraut bastard' because he IS your defence. You had nobody left. The fact that he chopped between the Greek, Mustafi, Kosc and Holding until Greek got injured and Holding got injured. At one point in the season, Mustafi was played as a RB (which he honestly isn't that bad in). Arsenal just got fucked by injuries to Bellerin and Holding which really fucked up their performances. Remember, they went on unbeaten run for 22 games or so. But Holding got injured. Then Ramsey and that made it all fall apart. You're right about it though. I suspect that Chambers will not be sent out on a loan this season. So it'll be Kolas/Monreal - Kosc/Greek - Holding/Mustafi - Bellerin/AMN.
I don't agree Mustafi is useless, I just believe he requires the midfield to actually not give the ball away (as I stated, worst in the league and doing it in their own half). He isn't good enough, correct, but he isn't going to be replaced. Honestly Emery should forget about wide man, stick with fucking Iwobi, he's there already and he won't cost a lot. Sign Ziyech for £25m to replace Ramsey.
He has Chambers and Beliek who could play in CB.

They will buy players because they dont want Poch to leave more so than anything else. Poch has made it clear in a lot of interviews he wants to improve his squad and with them seemingly selling a few key players (Eriksen, Alderweireld) and losing Demeble in January without replacing him the board knows they need to invest in a few positions to keep in the top 4.

He was trying to marshall the defence whilst a cross was coming in, there is always a chance it is going to hit your arm if it is up in that position. If he wasnt the one closing down the player its just unlucky, in the position he was in it was just a rush of blood to the head because it was early in the game and both teams where nervous and rusty
Asher Cooper
maybe he wasn't interested
Adam Jackson
According to the rules, yes. I wouldn't have given it. Although if it had hit his arm first without touching his shoulder, then it's a pretty clear penalty. The arm has no business being in that position.
That's retarded. Rules are rules. I fucking hate the refs that let things slide because it's early in the game. Have seen so many games ruined because they decided to be inconsistent with their decisions.

The handball rule need to be changed. Giving a penalty for a foul that isn't stopping a direct goalscoring situation is completely retarded abd against the spirit of the law
Brayden Parker
It is changing next season.
The law remains that deliberate handball is an offence. But accidental handball will also be a free-kick if...
the ball goes into the goal off an attacker a player gets the ball using his arm or hand and then scores, or creates a goalscoring opportunity a player's hand or arm has made their body "unnaturally bigger" the player's arm or hand is above their shoulder (unless the player has controlled the ball onto his own arm or hand)
But a handball will not be a free-kick if...
the ball is knocked on to a hand by the player in question or a nearby player the arm or hand is close to their body and "has not made their body unnaturally bigger" if a player is falling and the ball touches their hand or arm when it is between their body and the ground to support the body - but not extended to make the body bigger
Another change to the handball rule relates to the goalkeeper.
If the goalkeeper attempts to clear ("release into play") a throw-in or backpass and their clearance fails, then they can handle the ball.
Ifab says this is because "when the goalkeeper clearly kicks or tries to kick the ball into play, this shows no intention to handle the ball".

He was signed as a stop gap because the season before Bellerin played 50 games. Then Bellerin got injured so AMN or Mustafi had to play RB.
I support Muharraq SC, we are rivals my house is literally a street over and I played for their youth teams until the u19
Jonathan Nelson
what would happen if the exact same thing happened but sissoko was an amputee or had an arm behind his back or as close to his body as possible? exactly the same thing, he would intercept mane's pass with his body another reason why that interpretation was bullshit
So the Liverpool of Bahrain, then? Won loads of titles years ago but is rather irrelevant now :^)))
Grayson Campbell
>alli
Benjamin King
It's the fact it hit his chest first for me. If it'd gone straight into his arm then fair enough but there's fuck all he could do about it bouncing from his chest on to his arm.
Parker Gonzalez
Is that a man or a woman on the left? Truly the /trans/ team
Ryan Jenkins
Mane cheated and intentionally tried to hit Sissoko's arm. He made no attempt to cross the ball. You can tell from the way he chipped the ball and the position of his leg
Isaiah Clark
>Football Manager.jpg
Robert Young
No team with Sissoko and Winks in midfield will ever win the champions league
Christian Peterson
Lad this is a truly Scouse level of delusion
Juan Jones
it's a post-transition liam rosenior
Parker Rodriguez
How is that cheating? if you purposely aim at a persons arm whens its in an unnatural position then its the players whos arm it hits fault for it being there in the first place. Sure its unsporting but its not cheating in any sense of the imagination
Henry Howard
we won 1 league in the last 4 years which isn't that bad, but yeah I see it getting way worse unless the board start changing
Aaron Nelson
Aiming for the hand is the handball equivalent to diving
Not that I'm saying that Mane did, I don't care
Elijah Gutierrez
>players should no longer be able to point team mates into position because someone will intentionally kick the ball in their arm and get a penalty
This is football now thanks to zoomers
Luis Scott
I'm memeing anyway. I think small nation teams are rather comfy since you're all within 1hr of each other.
Matthew Hughes
>This is football now thanks to zoomers i don't think the people responsible for rule changes are teenagers
Connor Jackson
Didnt Alba have a really good season?
Thomas Ortiz
Played like pure shit against Liverpool.
Jaxson Rogers
I think penalties should be gotten rid of and replaced with indirect free kicks, reduces the incentive for foul play as the chance to score is lower.
Xavier Gutierrez
So did every Barca player in the second leg bar Messi
It wasn't a penalty but only because Mane botched it. The ref had no choice but to follow the script.
Hudson Jackson
that also mean you can't escape from your rivals when you lose in attack yes,he assisted a lot of Messi tap ins
however defensively he's horrendous, he constantly leave the left side exposed and Lenglet is too slow to cover 2 of Liverpool goals are because of him the 2 Valencia goals are his mistakes
Alexander Davis
Should at least be a Direct FK or else Defenders will just bring down players all the time in a 1 on 1
Adam Morales
He delivered the amazing assist for the opener in the first leg.
Hunter Lewis
Fraser and Maxi Gomez. Janssen will feel like a new signing.
Connor Hughes
Attackers should stop being little bitches then
Wyatt Parker

I hope so for Ndombele but I know it won't happen.

Can Lo Celso even leave Betis? He just signed with them on a permanent two(?) months ago
Mason Ramirez
As long as Messi is there, Suarez will play
Anthony Martin
no, pls
Jace Moore
Don't see why not.
Jose Mitchell
He can but I don't think he will.
Lincoln Ward
Why wouldnt he? He has a buyout clause and betis had him on loan and probably signed him permanently with promises to leave if he wanted and an acceptable bid came in
Eli Jenkins
absurdly good. just swapping pulisic for brandt would be a success. getting hazard2 as well is fucking obscene I don't know how they keep doing it. and yet of course they won't win the title
Jaxon Myers
If they receive a good offer, sure
Easton Cruz
The only way left to fix United is another Munich
Bentley Gonzalez
unironically Ricarldson
they should get rid of Busquets, Alba, Semedo along with Rakishit and Suarez
Jordan Nguyen
Yes, also he has a release clause because he plays in La Liga and it is a requirement in senior players contracts in the proffesional Spanish leagues. Whether they will sell below the release clause may determine if he leaves or not as some teams wont want to pay the 88m or whatever it is to sign him
>Whether they will sell below the release clause may determine if he leaves or not as some teams wont want to pay the 88m or whatever it is to sign him they signed him for like 25m, any offer along the lines of 50m would be instant sell.
The perfect player for Barcelona would be Firminho, but they probably won't have him now. I also think Eriksen would be a good player for their midfield.
i would be suprised - they would have to convince him to wait on a promise of becoming a god like team rather than him going for immediate glory at barca
>Gus Poyet, Michael Appleton and Cameron Toshack are in contention to become Swansea City's new manager.
>The Championship side are close to finalising a shortlist of up to six candidates to succeed Graham Potter, who left for Brighton last month.
>Swansea Under-23s boss Toshack, former Leicester assistant Appleton and ex-Sunderland manager Poyet will all have second interviews with the club.
Tough times for the Swans.
Parker Adams
Is that a United lineup ? You forgot Koulibaly
Luke Carter
there are rumours of a 53m bid that was denied and they said spurs have to pay the full 88m clause. I reckon 60m will make it. Imagine PSGs FFP accountants seeing that trasfer happening.
Are there any clear favourites to with the CCL next year? My friend's FM save says Barca
Zachary Nguyen
>Toshack Stg with Welsh people theres like a list of only seven surnames. Seems like every second person out of Wales is a Toshack, a Jenkins or a Jones.

id be surprised if he didnt have a sell on clause or similar if he doesnt then those accountants should be unemployed
Bentley Kelly
Yeah but it's fun. Since you have to live with them, there is less fucking up of the area. Since you kinda have to all live and work there. Come back home, Bahrain. I'm sorry. We're sorry. Come join the Commonwealth....
He did well for us tho. Two finals (not that he could win them) in a row. Then he fucked off to Lester.
Anyone with an updated scouse boom-bust cycle. jpg.exe?
Jacob Sanders
that would be like 10%-20% of the sum above 25 so 3.5-7m instead of a cool 35m
Carson Gonzalez
>he hasn't been announced yet ugh
Kayden Fisher
Thought he was already here?
Ian Kelly
liverpoo were up 1-0 and kept spurs to half chances.
when both teams needed to score it took liverpoo 1 minute. when only spurs needed to score they had 94 and still couldnt, and then the scousers scored again when they didnt even need to.
dominating the ball and doing fuck all with it when youre losing a final isnt playing well
I'm glad Liverpool scored the second goal because at least it felt deserved
Connor Murphy
probably panic that no one wants to join them and pay like £60m+ for James Rodriguez
Brayden Richardson

Yeah but the protest is tomorrow with THOUSANDS of people and Corbyn. So do your bit, user. We MUST grt Corbyn into office so we can divorce Drumpf and USA.
I can’t blame United for making Ole their manager... they were on a huge win streak with him as interim manager and all the signs pointed to making it permanent. never listen to the fans though, I guess..
also nfl money whenever that comes in. new stadium alone makes a million per match and that new sponsorship deal soon for the big egg. shits gonna be lit
degree grades are largely a meme if youre going straight into the workforce, its more who you know. if you wanna do further education then yeah not great
Jose Cox
what do you mean NFL money? money from the NFL to use/using their stadium to play games in?
Nicholas Long
“it’s not about the grades you make, but the hands you shake”
Xavier Ortiz
Are you sure? seems like the difference between a 2:1 and a 2:2 in terms of getting a job is huge
Whatever team is struggling with attendance at the time. London Chargers I'd imagine
Juan Green
such a thing won't happen for quit some time if it even does happen because the travel back n forth to here to there for games would be a strain on the players as our country is big. but levy does want the superbowl in the stadium though lol i think he said that's a goal before it was even built yup, thought everyone knew but their pitch has an NFL astro turf field under it. the grass pitch splits in 3 parts and it's right under it. also for concerts etc too

>Magic the Gathering getting an animation, lads. wut
As what I said. Magic the Gathering, the card game, is getting a western animation series by the Russo Brothers. Whether it's like the card game, where people play the card game and we 'zoom down' to the card level and see the stuff played out (aka, Western Yugioh) or it's set in the 'world' with the 'lore' and the only link is the setting.

we won the WC with Pavard at RB.
Anthony Barnes
Soufgayte doesn't have the balls to drop him and even if he did, who the fuck plays instead?
Jordan Lukaku looks decent as a LB, they could always play a 3-4-3 like they did in the last WC.
Asher Torres
I'm betting it's set in the world. It's a decently rich setting. There are some cool stories in the lore.
John Cook
Reminder that this includes cl bonuses. Make of that what you will
Kayden Clark
idk lots of englishmen always complain about him. I just want him rested and not injured.
Blake Flores
>Jordan Lukaku >decent as a LB When did this happen? those 15 minutes for lazio against juve in some preseason cup? But do you remember that one goal tho?
Is it a coincidence that Kane got the armband and England got the best result in recent years
Mason Martinez
Complain about Kane? Yeah, Kane doesn't score very many non-penalty goals. I complain more about Sterling. Before the Nation's League he had a dogshite goal per game ratio. Now? He has 0.16 goal per game ratio. He scored a fair amount recently but 0.16 is dog shit. 8 goals in 49 games, where 5 of those have come since Nations League started is dogshit. I hope he carries on scoring, but England has no goal scorers.
Kane is played wrong, he's played as a No.9 when he shouldn't be. He should be played further up and have somebody supplying him. The guy who scored 9 goals for Norway a few days ago in one game would be a better No.9.
MTG is old as fuck. 50,000+ cards and only a few hundred are used. It's been SJWised heavily though.

> Another reported saying from Aranda during the conversations was: “Bet €10k and you will take €20k.” Allegations suggest Valladolid players were informed to lose each half.
>“Look brother, Valencia wins the first half and the second, okay?” continue the conversation.

Indeed. It's longevity is proof.

any realation to the city mendy? or is mendy just a usual name?

Logan Morris
Yup. But we do the meme 4-3-3 thing when I think 4-2-4 would be better. Something like this. Delph could be replaced with something. Dier drops back to recieve balls from Stones who moves forward as well. Wingers move forward to support FW's in stuff.
My point was more than the show will probably only do old stuff if it is slightly relevant now.
youtube.com/watch?v=b4Qh-0Ed9Og I think part of the reason why Mbappé became such a hothead is because he doesn't get Mendy to put his ego in check anymore
Oh right, okay. I have absolutely no clue about the new cards. >I now remember based Beast of Burden
Ayden Gray
So so depressed lads. I wish there was protests about Arse's owner. I just want them to invest into the club. Arsenal need so much spent on them, they make plenty of money so they could easily spend £200m-£300m or something to fix the team, or at least attempt to fix the team. Fuck sake.
Ian Sanchez
