this piece of armco was damaged few minutes into today's 6h blancpain race, race is still on kek youtube.com/watch?v=MhuxQXtKxik
it's on the left side of mistral at the end of it. what's scary it's not the first time it happened. i remember even bigger damage to armco, but can't find year or race

Guys make sure the thread doesn't die. I have to feed dad his G&T's
>Yes but to be being fair, it looks like it is on de rails through de corners. >Dey just have to unlock its potential and dey will be a serious threat for de championship
he couldn't win in 2006 with a much better car lol The man was great, 2nd in GOAT debate (my lad Prost takes it), but he was past his prime and would've likely lost 2007 as well
Interestingly though, 4K hasn't grabbed everything. She has an autistic habit of hiding / unhiding old pics and a few months ago she unhid an old one of her in a black bikini leaning on a rail on a boat, and then hid it again a few days later. You don't have it though, so it appears that 4K didn't grab it for you. Suspect it's only looking for "new" on refresh an not checking the entire catalogue.

Which one is worse, 5 years of Ferrari domination (early 2000s), 5 years of Mercedes domination (2014 - present)?
I'm willing to vote for Mercedes domination. At least it had Nico - Hamilton battle and this season there might be Bottas - Hamilton. During Ferrari years there was straight up no battle at all.
Also, now that 5 years is up, when will they shake up the grid? I'm kinda getting bored.
Hudson Lopez
I'm sorry, who is this?

I lived through both and Mercedes is MUCH worse. I think a big part of the difference is that Schumacher's domination was during a "flat out" era, while Mercedes is during the "lift and coast" era. Same thing with Vettel's domination too. He actually had to drive the car hard to make the diffuser work.
Best example was probably Russia 2014 when Rosberg locked up and effectively ended his race on the first corner, and Lewlew had no competition. Hamilton took it so easy that at one point I excitedly sat up when they showed his onboard because I though he had a problem, but he was actually just rolling through corners. I have never seen someone drive an F1 car that gently and still dominate a race.

MWL 2000 and 2003 were kino seasons
Nathaniel Morris
Mercedes is far, far worse. At least Ferrari developed into their domination, Mercedes were handed it by regulation changes
Joshua Morgan
This is actually a good point. I genuinely believe that Vettel is a better driver than Hamilton. I also think that Rosberg wouldn't have stood a chance against Vettel in any season, whereas he was able to wiggle his way into Hamilton mentally and beat him that way. Lewis might be "faster" but he never has to use it for more than just qualifying and Vettel makes fewer mistakes in qualifying and when he's out front he and Lewis make the same number (zero) of mistakes. And honestly Lewis would be spinning that Ferrari too if he was struggling so much to keep up with a much faster car and had external pressure mounting constantly. Hell I'd say he'd have quit F1 by now if he wasn't winning.
Alexander King
Oh fugg oh fugg oh fugg oh fugg Charlotte is actually part of a gravure shoot
In that discussion I thought Kimi was thinking that it was dripping somewhere else and was worried. But the team kept responding that he won't have the drink.
Sebastian Turner
That's exactly what was happening. Kimi was concerned that it could be draining out somewhere bad in the car while the team thought he had misunderstood them and couldn't understand why he couldn't have the drink.
Robert Gutierrez
This You felt that SCHUMIWINSLOL was coming due to the fact that he always challenges until the last race since 97 99 was the exception since he was injured If the accident never happened then SCHUMIWINSLOL would've started way earlier and Miga would've announced a formal retirement instead of his sabbatical (The sabbatical just eneded btw)
>I genuinely believe that Vettel is a better driver than Hamilton
You are retarded then, Vettel is peak carbabby. He is way more likable than the nigger but he still got exposed so many times, his teammates have always been thick old men past their peaks and when it wasn't the case he literally fled to Ferrari because he got trashed so hard by Ricciardo.
In the meantime Hamilton came as a rookie and ended up tied with Alonso, shat on Kovaleinen, beat Button 3 years in a row and it took 4 seasons for Rosberg to finally beat him (by winning less GP and having one less abandon). So when it comes to pressure and adversity he simply has faced much more than Vettel ever has.
I don't like him and I hope he loses soon but he's better than Vettel, that's just fact.
Butt beat Ham in 2011. Aside from 2009, Hamilton has never been in a car that couldn't win or stomp the WCC/WDC. Honestly Hamilton is the even bigger carbabby. Nico exposed him.
Jonathan Torres

Lewis H*milton has been given a race-winning car every season
>much better car Negated by how much better the Michelins were. The Renault package was easily as good on its day. If Kimi won 2007 despite his inconsistent performance for the first half of the season and Felipe nearly won 2008 despite spinning 15 times at Silverstone, Michael would have won both, even at the end of his career.
I wish F1 drivers didn't all have to wear hats all the time. amx is so much uglier with the hat on, it makes his face look so much flatter and more frog-like. Maybe if he just curved the bill of the hat it'd look better but really his whole look is saved by whatever stylist does his hair.
Liam Rivera
huh? from indianapolis until the end, so for 9 races, half a season, it should've been FWL and SWL, unironically thanks to how much better BRIDGESTONE were. ferrari was up to 1s/lap quicker than renault on almost every circuit. it was absurd they had even bigger advantage than MWL last few years, but schumacher was choking left right and centre
That was me for years. I cared about the cars and the results of the races but I couldn't bear to watch them. I guess I just have a longer attention span these days. Maybe I'm more invested in it too.
what did rich energy have to do with that fight? multiple world champions? like whom?

what is the most kino scenario you can imagine for 2020 that could save this shitshow?
Nicholas Brown
Hamilton dies in a plane crash, Vettel retires before the start of the season, red bull becomes very competitive and so does the ferrari after being taken over by salvini
Isaac Turner
>hamilton is so good the only thing that can stop him winning is death
I'm watching the Hamburg horse jumping derby and I have to say the mixture of racing against the clock and directly recieving penalty points for every small mistake is great. F1 should look at this, at least maybe for qualifying.

MWL by far. Ferrari only had 2002 and 2004 as truly superior seasons and they also didn't build up this retarded Unterhund narrative, they knew they had a better car and they didn't deny it

Women (I mean real one, not mentally ill men cutting their dicks) are physically not capable of making it into current F1, hell why they are either seconds away from the males or straight up crash during tests. They can't handle the physical stress.
They lack a good 5-10% in muscle mass and a good 0.4 g/cm3 in bone density
>They lack a good 5-10% in muscle mass Implying there isn't a 10% deviation on the grid already

Kek no there isn't fucktard.
>"bones hold you head up, not muscle" Bones literally are the fondations of your body parts your idiots, they transmit the vast majority of mechanical forces in your body.
How dense they are play a huge part on their capacity to handle mechanical stress, especially in a sport where crashes are very common. 10-20% of bone density is the difference between a neck sprain and a career ending spinal fracture.
They did studies with women in the infantry and they literally get injured twice as frequently as men.
Brody Morris
>talking about the physical condition of participants in a sport where Kubica, Herbert, Brundle and Alonso have all competed

The rest of their body makes up for it.

FOUR WHEELS GOOD TWO WHEELS BAD FOUR WHEELS GOOD TWO WHEELS BAD
topkeke, good post. Herbert can barely even fucking walk, yet he managed to physically handle an F1 car in an era with much longer braking distances and more pedal effort than current cars. Kubica, can't even grip the wheel with one of his hands, so that's -50% strength, but apparently having 5 to 10% less muscle mass is a deal breaker.
It's just mental gymnastics from France poster (who has a history of incel sperging) to justify his opinions. Typical brainlet who comes up with a conclusion first then looks for """evidence""" to confirm his bias, instead of looking at the evidence first THEN forming a conclusion.
I've been having recurrent headaches quite a few days a week for the past 3 months now, I don't think I will go to the Drs because a brain haemorrhage would be sweet relief from MWL
>“Michael retired when he was 38. I’m 33. In my mind I can definitely do five years,” said Hamilton. “I am ridiculously determined to win. >“What really drives me, and I feel that somewhat the people I race against may lack, is that fire. >“I’ve got this opportunity. I could easily let go of it right now but I feel like I would be squandering it if I didn’t continue to improve, grow and push. >“I’ve got to keep going for as long as I can basically - until I’m not enjoying it.” HWL MWL till we die

Montoya tried this in NASCAR. It didn't end well.
Bentley Sanders
ok but before that part they were badass lmao >this again feeds into the mountain of evidence that italians lack nothing in equipment, bravado, and skill, but everything in strategy and decision making stay mad fatty lmao remove the corruption and cheating so that actual changes can be made to improve the racing so no way lmao
Biz Idea: Supermarket Sweep but in F1. Toto hosts a quiz show where the other team principles have to earn time for their team. The winning team principle takes his time earned and runs through the Mercedes factory getting as much information as they can youtube.com/watch?v=FESeyvQHjTQ
I somehow, for absolutely ages, thought the theme song for Supermarket Sweep was a bad cover of Style Council's 'Shout to the Top' but with 'Shop till you Drop' sung instead.
Turns out this has never been done by anyone but I still hear Shop till you Drop when I listen to that song.
Owen Evans

Is Formula-E a fun series or is it a big meme.
Brayden Clark
A fun meme
Nicholas Thomas
It's still a meme It won't be taken seriously until it races on actual race tracks instead of mini-street tracks
James Smith
So never?
Thomas Williams
They'll get there eventually due to the pissing contest between who has the better battery
Jason Collins
But the whole point is to bring racing to people, city people who either can't drive yet or don't want to drive to far out race circuits. Yes, it serves as an easy way to hide the true speed and range of the cars but I genuinely don't think they will leave street circuits.
They might go to better quality ones but I don't think you will ever see Formula E racing around a normal circuit.
who is hoping for another goddamn boring canadian gp, like last year, but with mercedes 1-2? it would break netflixbabbies for good, the first race they probably watch and it's a HWL MWL parade

when are they going to fire him? not only renault's performance is a huge failure (and it already was last year), but he's talking bollocks. it's all about downforce and suspension combined into treating tyres perfectly, nothing more. factory renault team is slower around barcelona than 2018 ferrari and red bull operated by small teams, that's their real problem

Indycar is full of F2 and F1 rejects. Takuma Sato, Alexander Rossi, Santino Ferrucci, Conor Daly, Max Chilton, none of them are all that good, but they're plenty good for a spec series of cars that are probably easier to drive than F2 cars, seeing how they have less downforce.
Elijah White
TAKUMA SATO IS NOT AN F1 REJECT HE IS JUST HAVING FUN IN HIS 40'S DAMNIT

Well the season is already decided so they have to talk about something.
