Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the North Sea League. The top clubs from nations bordering the North Sea (excluding Germany) have broken away to form the North Sea League, with the divisions they leave behind acting as feeder leagues below North Sea League 2.
As with other top leagues, the North Sea League will recieve 4 Champions League places and 3 Europa League places, with the 4/15 excess spots left from merging being distributed to lower ranked leagues.
Clubs have been selected based on recent success both domestically and in Europe. Sponsorship and TV Deals will increase in value dramatically as a result of the improved quality.
Honestly sounds based as fuck and I would love to watch it >tfw this doesn't exist :(
Oliver Parker
LMAO It would be the ultimate farmer league
Jose Gonzalez
Why start a league with no future? All these cities will drown in 200 years or sooner
Adam Scott
Kinda like how Holland has been under for so long?
Josiah Perez
>not just combing the belgium and Netherlands league I would watch that fucking league! they could get a sweet tv deal similar to EPL. New 1st Division having 16-18 clubs max.
Landon King
Champions League - Ajax, Anderlecht, Celtic, PSV Europa League - Kobenhavn, Feyenoord, Rangers Relegated - Esbjerg, AIK, Norkkoping Promoted - Twente, Gent, Brondby
Daniel Roberts
in what world do you think a combined belgium/netherlands league would get even 25% of the PL tv deal
Kevin King
>they could get a sweet tv deal similar to EPL Even this North Sea League with big hitters like Celtic and Rangers would struggle to break into the Top 4 leagues in terms of TV deal. Willem II v Kortrijk can't really compare to a lower-mid table clash like West Ham v Newcastle.
Ethan Morgan
Thought I'd crunch those numbers for you. Value of top division TV Deal per season.
