NORTH SEA LEAGUE

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the North Sea League. The top clubs from nations bordering the North Sea (excluding Germany) have broken away to form the North Sea League, with the divisions they leave behind acting as feeder leagues below North Sea League 2.

As with other top leagues, the North Sea League will recieve 4 Champions League places and 3 Europa League places, with the 4/15 excess spots left from merging being distributed to lower ranked leagues.

Clubs have been selected based on recent success both domestically and in Europe. Sponsorship and TV Deals will increase in value dramatically as a result of the improved quality.

England and Germany already have strong leagues.

You would be pleased to know there are plans to turn even more of it into land

Honestly sounds based as fuck and I would love to watch it
>tfw this doesn't exist :(

LMAO It would be the ultimate farmer league

Why start a league with no future?
All these cities will drown in 200 years or sooner

Kinda like how Holland has been under for so long?

>not just combing the belgium and Netherlands league
I would watch that fucking league! they could get a sweet tv deal similar to EPL. New 1st Division having 16-18 clubs max.

Champions League - Ajax, Anderlecht, Celtic, PSV
Europa League - Kobenhavn, Feyenoord, Rangers
Relegated - Esbjerg, AIK, Norkkoping
Promoted - Twente, Gent, Brondby

in what world do you think a combined belgium/netherlands league would get even 25% of the PL tv deal

>they could get a sweet tv deal similar to EPL
Even this North Sea League with big hitters like Celtic and Rangers would struggle to break into the Top 4 leagues in terms of TV deal. Willem II v Kortrijk can't really compare to a lower-mid table clash like West Ham v Newcastle.

Thought I'd crunch those numbers for you. Value of top division TV Deal per season.

>England - £1,575,000,000

>Netherlands - £67,000,000
>Belgium - £67,000,000 (includes 2nd division)
>Sweden - £48,000,000 (includes 2nd division)
>Denmark - £46,000,000 (includes 2nd division)
>Norway - £37,000,000 (includes 2nd division)
>Scotland - £32,000,000

>Combined - £295,000,000 (19%)

so full north sea won't even pull 20%, bel/ned less than 10%
so the original guy is a retard. thank you for confirming.

Sage for roleplaying autism. There is enough soccer shitting up the board already. We dont need threads with autists playing 0retend.

No problem Amerifriend. That combined figure would put them 7th, behind Turkey but ahead of Brazil.

There's nothing stopping you from making Ice Hockey or Curling threads you know.

when i say similar i mean in actual breakdown of the money, collective deal. 50% even between clubs, 25% merit, 25% etc.

I think a Scandinavian League would make most sense.

>ahead of brazil
and that's projections for their first 6 years. with time i can see it going up but never actually breaking into top 3, money wise.
