Rugby is better than soccer, I've always known this. I like both sports. I can't explain easily why soccer is so much more popular, but that popularity in itself does male it more appealing to people and also more enjoyable in the sense that everyone else is watching it too. Probably it's the fault of rugby league for being professional rugby but not being capable of running itself properly enough to spread the game internationally. Now rugby union is professional since 1995 and is more popular now in most of the places where it was already enjoying popularity but hasn't really spread into any new territory either, and I think it's because of the inherent elitism of the sport overall.
It's an interesting subject.

See how Valentine Holmes goes at the jets this season, if he does well then rugby players will become something the nfl scouts start looking at.
