I watch it when I can sometimes, i find it comfy, I'll try to keep up with it when I get to have more time.

Is America is the only place where domestic competitions winner call themselves "world champions"? I've never heard of anyone else doing this. The level of obliviousness is staggering.
UEFA Champions League winners don't even have the balls to call themselves "world champions". Unless the go on to win the club world cup.

Not really, it's more to do with the fact cricket was (and is) more popular in the UK than baseball. But I agree, yes, the UK invented most of the major sports in the world and then got good at playing them badly (though Leafs will claim that basketball is Canadian despite the guy being British due to Canada being a colony).

Baseball, basketball and hockey are all global sports dum dum. The best athletes in the world in those sports play in the US leagues. It’s pretty straightforward logic.

Yes America has been very influential globally. But it's stupid to call yourselves world champions when you only win matches against clubs in your own country and Canada. You might call yourselves the North American champions or something. As far as I know, there are no country Vs country matches in this sport.
Also very few countries follow American football seriously cuz it's boring with so many stoppages and commercialisation to the death.

Not so important in Venezuela anymore. It was important when people played baseball with sticks and stones. With technology, we do not play that savage sport anymore.
Nowadays, we have digital sticks and stones, so regular Boreball is only watched by old people.

I'll give you hockey, and I'll even be generous and give you basketball too even if it's not a particularly relevant sport outside of the US. But baseball? Fuck off just because the wall jumpers and nuke survivors play it sometimes doesn't make it a global sport.
