I grew up an hour outside of Toronto. I like it a lot, I’m glad I don’t live there, it’s very expensive, but it has a lot going on and a good place to visit. Definitely a world class city.
Cooper Perez
right now, probably yes
not in the summer or winter though
Landon Foster
My town in BC has double the Hindu pop that you have
Nicholas Morgan

Daniel Wilson
>things only Toront*nians believe

Julian Jenkins
> going to Toronto as a tourist

Matthew Gutierrez

Alexander Watson
are the japanese such a hivemind that they assume all Canadians are the same as well?
Joseph Gutierrez
>going to Toronto as a tourist
>lmao
yeah how could I have gotten that idea
maybe it was the post i replied to with skepticism that claimed there was things worth visiting in your boring shithole capital
oh wait ottawa is your capital but no one has ever heard of it because canada is irrelevant
retard
Asher Long
That place looks like it's going to get all fucked up if the sea level raises so much as 1 meter
Alexander Lewis
Different Canuck, but in my opinion:
1) sports teams (Jays, Leafs, Raptors, TFC, etc)
2) HHoF/ROM/AGO/Ripley's Aquarium, etc
3) Distillery/Entertainment Districts
4) CN Tower
5) Toronto Islands
That's more than five, but I condensed it down for you.
Charles Sullivan
probably one of the soullless places in the world
shit food, shit people, so bland, if you go to canada visit quebec instead or the parks

1. food (ramen is on the same level as your cunt)
2. hanlans (chill nude beach)
3. raps/leafs/jays (toronto fans are best)
4. nice skateparks
5. essential stop for every single touring artist
William Evans
Living an hour north of the city and it's hella comfy. Toronto is an alright place to visit and do stuff on weekends. I wouldn't want to live there, too crowded, loud, stinky, and if you spend too much time there you get overwhelmed by all the degenerates.
>Japanese level ramen
It's good but it costs 3 times as much as in Japan, I've spoken with Nips, they're surprised it's so expensive here
>Hanlans
>Hanlans
>Toronto fans are the best
Unironically the same as every other comparable sports market, don't be delusional
>Skateparks
lel
>Essential place for artists
Montreal is FAR superior for hipster artist types in Canada.
Thomas Nguyen
>Suburban and Rural retard can't handle a crowded subway
t.Suburban and Rural patrician
Matthew Morris
I don't get the video. There are trains so it's shitty?
Daniel Robinson
i don't know what you mean about it being superior for hipster artist types, i was referring to the fact that every touring musician/artist will have a stop in toronto 100% of the time
Nolan Rogers
here, I'll help you out
>torontonians' opinion of toronto
greatest city in the country and probably the world, honestly, nothing else needs to exist and everyone should move there
>all other canadians' opinion of toronto
it's kind of shitty, don't bother
Josiah Thomas
toronto is never a comfy place to be, too many shitskins and chinks
Michael Hall
NFL team when?
Chase Wilson
ITT: a bunch of butthurt suburbans
How was walking 20 minutes to shoppers drugmart faggots.
I have lived plenty of places outside Toronto and they are honestly shit. People talk about minorities but go somewhere like Kitchener or hamilton all you see is overweight disheveled looking whites
Jonathan Rogers
I usually go to Toronto for concerts, sports, visit friends, attend lectures, etc. It's reasonably accessible by trains if you live within an hour. It's got a lot of nice restaurants, parks, music venues, TIFF, and if anything significant comes to Canada, it usually stops in Toronto. It also has a lot of immigrants, and not a very defined culture, which makes things like sports, etc a big source of identity. Like, you look at the raps fans, they're from all over the world, but they can bond over a team like this. My parents say the bluejays winning back2back WS in the 90s was a really big deal as well. I don't think it's really the kind of city you would compare to Paris or New York, but it might be more in the same category as a city like Boston. I wouldn't recommend going there to do "tourism" but if you need to spend time in a city it's probably better than most. Unironically, there is a lot of immigrants, but that makes it kind of an exciting place. It's very dynamic (lots of growth in the past few decades, massive number of immigrants) and some probably interpret the identity shifts as soullessness, but I think that's sort of the appeal.
Alexander Davis
>there is a lot of immigrants, but that makes it kind of an exciting place
in the "oh god I hope I don't get stabbed" kind of exciting, sure
John Perry
i've lived in toronto most of my life, this city is objectively shit, you retarded shitskin
Andrew Hill
where did you live that was better?
Benjamin Ramirez
windsor, detroit, ottawa, regina and winnipeg
also spent considerable time in montreal and quebec city but both are quite shit
Oliver Miller
I moved to Canada a few years ago and passed through Toronto airport on the way.
After 8 hours in plane stepping off their was a psychedelic experience sort of like what japanese people in paris experience - I was expecting canada but all I got was a reeking sea of curry and niggers and I was the lonliest white man in rourkes drift
Jose Brown
>Detroit
Ryan Wilson
But the immigrants in Toronto are the rich ones. Less concerned about getting stabbed, more concerned about them making me look poor in front of my GF when they're all in BMWs and I'm in my civic shitbox.
Elijah Nelson
regina and winnipeg are fucking awful by every conceivable metric. detroit is also pretty infamous but I've never been there myself. no idea what you're on
Jayden Perez
you've probably lived in toronto for a couple years tops so shut the fuck up, retard
Robert White
actually shoppers is literally right by my house in sauga like a 5 min walk. gonna go there tomorrow to buy some dmx
Angel Allen
>walking

>go to canadian beach
>get killed by polar bear

Sebastian Scott
Why would anybody give a shit about artist?
Tyler Gray
>3. raps/leafs/jays (toronto fans are best)
Literally every city thinks their city has the best fans.
You know after a big win when they interview the players, and the player says "I want to thank the fans from (current city), they truly are the best fans in the world?" they don't really mean it?
Evan White
What's the last relevant thing to come from Japan. Besides Jackie Chan and cartoon porn.
Zero actors, zero music, zero tv shows, zero relevant athletes.
Even fucking Gagnum Style was Korean. You couldn't even do that.
Jose Wood
I want lily singh to peg me, how can this be arranged
Jaxon Richardson
Honestly a pleasant, dynamic, world-class city to visit and I enjoyed my stay, even though you can tell much of their culture is borrowed from NYC/LA desu
