Jon and Dany should have had more of a fight when she died

I have a bet with some friends. For me, Son scores off a free kick header. Then Trippier passes it back to Lloris who misplays it, own goal. Then Moura with a solo run goal. Then seventy minutes of shit football. Spurs win 2-1

Do you think there is a feasible way united can mount a title challenge next year?

If not surely it’s best to just accept a few more years of shite and sign a load of promising youngsters who can be moulded into whatever the manager or DoF wants

Wow that’s quite an intense bet. What odds did they give you 99999999999999999999999999/1?

>give us McNeal

Attached: lrrr.jpg (1200x675, 94K)

Just got fired because my boss saw this. Thanks a lot

Dunno but one of my friend is at Charlety

No. IF City get banned from Europe, they'll walk the league by Xmas. Utd will struggle for top 6 again.

'bet' was a poor choice of words, it's more of a verbal speculation. real gambling is haram

Like what if united got in Poch, Kane and Alderweireld?

>Do you think there is a feasible way united can mount a title challenge next year?
If they buy Messi and Ronaldo maybe, have you seen how shit United are?

>If not surely it’s best to just accept a few more years of shite and sign a load of promising youngsters who can be moulded into whatever the manager or DoF wants
This would be best but every DoF link so for have been retarded. Maybe having some actual DoF experience instead of having been in the Man U dressing room once should be a priority. If Man U took the redpill and accepted that they're not on top of the world anymore and used their finances to rebuild they could become dominant again. If they insist on clinging to the old ways I could see them fading out of (top football) existance.
Srsly Darren Fletcher as DoF?

Ahh, Javi Martinez, or some say Javi Martinez situation...

Oh ok. Here’s my textual speculation.

Hendo slips and >96 scousers commit suicide

But the only concrete rumours regarding DoF are Mitchell right? Nobody relevant has actually substantiated the Fletcher or Rio stories

>Gabriel Batistuta
Isn't this guy a low iq brainlet?

No it isn't. Look in the archives.

>Manchester United are ‘working very hard’ to sign Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt.
How GAZUMPED with United be when he fucks off to Barcelona or something?

I don't know anymore lad. Appointing Ole was premature. Ole going on and about the good ol' days and how Man U should be winning titles feels a bit out of touch just like the whole club.

I have not for the past years done that. I like it in the title.

I thought he was already confirmed to Barca

As a united fan I can’t see why he would want to join us

Reminder that Bianca Gascoinge is the official slag of /trans/

Attached: bianca-gascoigne-640x410.jpg (640x410, 43K)

A sporting director, or director of sport, is an executive management position in a body concerned with sport. The role is best known as a manager role at continental European football clubs, which are usually "sports clubs" offering many types of sports. While the coach takes care of the team in daily work, the manager or sporting director takes care of hiring the team. The sporting director is, in many cases, a member of the executive board and therefore an executive director.

In English football clubs both roles, director of sports and coach, are united into one person, the manager. In addition to a sporting director or manager, big clubs in rare cases also appoint a director of football, like Paris Saint-Germain or Everton. The director of football is usually not a member of the board.

The keeper is a meme. It's ignorant retard fucking sports ''''journos'''' knowing nothing. Arsenal have half a dozen GK's to choose from. 4 of them are above 21. 3 are 25 or above. Those can play instead of Cech. And yes, Arsenal will lose.

This is why we don't do it ourselves. If it takes you 10 mins...

>Arsenal linked to yet ANOTHER GK
>U21
Macey, Iliev , Opsina and Martinez should just be fucking sold. Macey is 20 god damn 5. Ospina is good enough. Martinez is like 26. Iliev is like 23. Okonkwo is >black and thus probably shit.

Ospenis is pretty shit tbqh
At least every time I remember when Liverpool played against him anyway.

Then Macey and Martinez can do it. Hell, pretty sure they signed some 'wonderkid' from Binland :DDD who was a GK. Not that it'll work out. But come on, they don't need to sign anybody. U21 is already if he goes into youths to replace somebody but what the fuck is the point of Macey and Martinez if they're never gonna play for Arsenal properly? I think Martinez played in the League Cup once and got BTFO by Reading.

Why do Arse keep offering these people contracts but not their star players?

Yes

Because these players don't ask for larger wages. The reason Ramsey wasn't offered a new contract wasn't out of some idiocy, it was because Stan The Man didn't want to pay the extra £80k or so that Ramsey wanted per week. Or something ridiculous. It's been like this ever since he's taken over. Stan has LITERALLY said that Emery cannot buy any more players until he reduces the wage bill. Ramsey, Cech, Welbeck and that other dude have reduced it enough but he still wants to drop it more. This is why they're looking at kids; cheaper than proper players in both wages and transfers. Stan claims this is to 'keep within FFP rules' when it's really because he's a stingy fuck who doesn't care about football and refuses to attend meetings with fans and other directors about issues with the club. The guy is scum. The manager is a glorified scapegoat. They run by transfer committee by proxy. Emery says he wants a player, then their scout dude says 'good buy' or 'not good buy' (this is why Milistant left because he basically had no say) and THEN this goes to Stan who has final say on a purchase (or his personal lapdog). And Stan has his own team who work it out in case the others lie.

Arsenal are fucked unless somebody who cares about football buys him out.

why can't arsenal fans appreciate that they're self-sustainable and don't have a sugar daddy?

>Meanwhile, United midfielder Paul Pogba, 26, will be offered the captaincy role in an effort to convince the Frenchman to stay at Old Trafford

Retarded move. Can't they see that he's destroying them from the inside?

Because they make a lot more money than they spend on transfers because Stan essentially only gives a small % of their actual income towards such things. This makes it incredibly difficult to compete when your club has been slowly destroyed over nearly two decades, so much so that your youth prospects are either poached, injured or fail and the alternative is buying stuff; which you can't do. The likes of City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool (in the PL alone) mean that, lets say a player is worth £30m. Arsenal offer £30m. The club accepts. Then one of those clubs come along and offer £55m. The club sells to them. Arsenal cannot match this price. They therefore don't get the player. There is a rumour that Fred was internally valued at about £30m and they laughed their arses off when United offered £54m. They laughed even more when they rejected the £50m and asked for £54m instead and United accepted. Arsenal wouldn't be able to match that. Good players are easily £50m+ now. The fact Arsenal got Auba is pure luck but he has 2 years at best left in him.

Arsenal might have won 3 FA Cups in the last 5 years but that's not what they want. They want the Title and CL. They're never EVER going to get it unless they get help. Lots of them also resent the fact Chelsea and City got away with their sugar daddies for so long.

tl;dr sour grapes and incredibly limited ability to compete in the market and reduction in funding in youth system resulting in poor quality alternatives.

A few days ago they said Ole was willing to sell him for £138m.

Too busy watching the instagram followers count increasing.
It's a business, not a football club.

People said that about Bale. What will really happen is they'll buy five or so players with the Eriksen money, only one of them will be good, they sell him for a lot of money, buy another five or six players, and that's their existence from now on

Abramovich is a terrible owner

I wonder how many chelsea fans hate sarri just because he's ugly

>Blow for Arsenal, Liverpool as BVB seal £34.6m deal for Thorgan Hazard
I didn't even think those two clubs were even linked with him. Why would they be? Arsenal won't be signing anybody until they've lost the EL final and Liverpool don't really need anybody else.

>Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe is reportedly unhappy with his status at the club and feels he has less influence than teammates.
Lol, fuck of Mbpopdobop. You're 20. You've been at the club a season.

fuck sake lads. had/have a gf but i dont have a job and feel huge catholic guilt about shagging her / getting further than 1st base, been ghosting her for a month. i wasn't like this once fuck

What are you doing in England Neymar? Some concert innit?

>What success?
For a previously midtable club like Spuds, finishing this much higher than they used to is considered success to them. You may hate this shit, but to them it's worth much more than you put it to be. In the Scottish league for example (pre-Rangers liquidation at least; not sure about now), finishing 2nd if you weren't Rangers or Celtic was considered a success. For most international teams as well; making the knockouts, or even qualifying for the World Cup at all, is considered success for many countries, as opposed to top European/South American countries vying for the World Cup.

>he didn't hold true to his claim of not spending to improve the team
That is true, but not spending had a limit and it showed with Karius. The reason he started spending was because he saw that limit.

Just back from day 3 at the supermarket.

An old lady asked if i'd take some soil to her house, I obliged after first clearing it with management. Arms were killing, 25l soil is ok to carry for a moment and lures you into a false sense of security.

Anyway, she gave me £5 tip, that's almost an hours wage on its own.

You ara a decent human being user

Liverpool still need a creative midfielder. I'd say a new CB or LB as well but Klopp hasn't learned from his mid-season defensive crisis.

Will someone take Boapeng pls?

Based and kindpilled

Thanks mate

Karius and CBs, but yeah.

Oil Money ruins people. He used to be kind of likable too baka

>That is true, but not spending had a limit and it showed with Karius
Wasn't Karius rated Bundesliga keeper of the year before moving to Liverpool? Or perhaps he came runner up, there was a reason Klopp insisted on him

Except he had spent large sums since he joined anyway. He just went on a big spree last window. Spurs at least can say they didn't.

Klopp insists on a bunch of bundesliga players, he just follows that league quite closely.
Karius could have been good, he's a confidence player though and never recovered from his first injury.

the WC ruined mbrapper

Very pleased with these reports linking Bruno Fernandes to Liverpool tbqhwyl

Only if you post Kaho in lingerie

I judge ever colombian on what I learn from Narcos. Gonna watch Narcos Mexico after this so mexicans better watch out
Also I'd go gay for Boyd Holbrook. No homo.

No.

Runner up behind Neuer. Maybe he never managed to adapt.

He did spend, but prior to VVD they were pretty standard prices for their positions at the time. He saw that the defence was severely weak and a cheap price would not fix it at all, hence £75 on VVD. He saw that Karius at £4.75m turned out no better than Mignolet, hence Alisson. And so on. It's due to these purchases that Liverpool got so many more points this season than last season. Not spending barely gets you top 4. Spending wisely makes you title challengers.

Really nasty. Who honestly finds this obese nip attractive?

Vomit inducing.

is 175cm manlet height? asking for a friend?

Gonna sound like a delusional scouse, but Mingolel and karius are leaving for much more than they were brought in, so ignoring the times they actually played it's been alright.
Don't really understand why Ward didn't get a chance desu

yep

Missed the mark by about 10cm

What?
>Beneteke: £41.85m
>Firminho: £36.90m
>Clyne: £15.93m
That's just his first season.

>Mane: £37.08m
>Wijnaldum: £24.75m
That's his second season

>VvD: £76.19m
>Salah: £37.80m
>Ox: £34.20m
That's his 3rd season

>Allisson: £56.25m
>Keita: £54.00m
>Fabinho: £40.50m
That's 4th season.

This is a lot of money on a fair amount of players, while the likes of Spurs didn't.

>>Beneteke: £41.85m
>>Firminho: £36.90m
>>Clyne: £15.93m
What the, wasn't here for any of these players and the rest were fantastic and should have gone for much more, I have a feeling that Brenny really was just a shit judge of skill.

I know he wasn't there to make those signings, but he was hired that season and I thought it'd be fair to include them as I'm more talking about Liverpool spending power not specifically Klopp. As in, that Liverpool spending money isn't a new thing.

I'd attribute that more to his ability to make good purchases and sales than anything else.

>his first season
Oh wow, attributing purchases to someone who wasn't even at the club at the time. Brenny bought them, actually.

And other than VVD, his second and third season's purchases were indeed standard prices for good forwards/attacking midfielders at the time. Definitely nowhere near Pogdab tier at least.

No, Liverpool have always deluded themselves into a belief that they were a big club, but since the club fell on hard times this hasn't really been true, it took a very long time to bring in a coach experienced with rebuilding, it should have happened a long time ago, just spending money is a waste and Liverpool pre-Klopp wasted a lot.

I know, retard, see It proved my point on Liverpool spending money to try and get success. But hey, that's cool. I didn't even post all of Klopps purchases. But if you think spending £350m is 'fair amounts' that's up to you.

>I'm more talking about Liverpool spending power not specifically Klopp.
>Except he had spent large sums
>he

Greekanon to Tromso deal in the works, per anonymous sources

Firmino was signed by Rodgers

Those all were, Brenny played Firmino on the wing though LOL

Fuck off you retarded cunt.

16/17: £72m
17/18: £157m
18/19: £170m

>N-N-NOT A LOT LA, HE DIDN'T SPEND LARGE SUMS LAAAAAAAA I CAN DISREGARD YOUR ENTIRE POST BECAUSE YOU INCLUDED OTHER TIMES LIVERPOOL SPENT LARGE SUMS LAAAAAA YNWAAAAA YNWAAAAAAAA!!!!

Obsession isn't healthy, lad.

Attached: 1544684672263.jpg (1200x1800, 229K)

I fucking know he was, that's just me showing Liverpool has always spent fucking money and this meme that 'Klopp was rebuilding la, so he realised he had to spend la' is fucking bullshit because they were ALWAYS spending large amounts.

>Brenny played Firmino on the wing though LOL
I think you mean Brendan UNLOCKED Bobby by playing him in the Wide Target Man role.

For me, it's watching sumo videos on YT at work

His best role is segundo volante tbqh

Where can I find the rest of this set?

Stop backtracking. You were specifically talking about Klopp. £30+m per forward/AMF was the standard price at the time.

>I didn't even post all of Klopps purchases.
Yes we know, Karius etc.

>17/18: £157m
Lmao still completely missing that my point was that his big spending started with VVD.

>not centrocampista diagonale a la sturato

we can agree on that he's wasted as a inverted false-9. If Kloppo only reverted him atleast

He was playing as a false 6 earlier last season tbqh

I'd play him as a true 9.5 but with the defensive duties of a 11

Asians are disgusting, no exceptions

>False 6
What next, a False 1?

Karius mastered that role la

False 6 is the Pogba role. False CB is the David Luiz role.

>'Klopp was rebuilding la, so he realised he had to spend la'
Klopp had rebuilt as much as he could without spending big, but that approach hit a wall. Yes, his statement of not spending big was a mistake. No one denied that.

Bit gay tbqh

Also racist desu

Someone make a new tred

Don’t feel like it 2bh

Spuds did spend pretty big in 2016-17 and 2017-18. At least, if Liverpool spent big in 2016-17.

karius great season with mainz was an anomaly, he wasn't considered a huge talent before and had struggled to get itno their first team for years so it came out of left field and he then immediately left for liverpool and got injured
