>scoring the most goals makes you the best player
I thought this league was more serious than La Liga
He probably just buys his awards
that's still very good for a mature winger
>scoring 5 penalties, 10 tap-ins and only one goal outside the box = G O A T
O TWAIN
Serie A is protecting their investment
>winger
this
overall he was ok, if his transfer fee and wages were 1/4 of what they are he'd be regarded as a worthwhile player, but should be absolutely nowhere near the player of the season award
>goals outside the box mean more than goals inside the box
Liverpool fan?
maybe he just respects players who are good at taking free kicks
Really makes you think
>if goals scored by players born in villages spelled نجريج counted triple then liverpool would win the league
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
Did he even have one good performance against a top 6 calibre side?
He had one great performance, and it was against Atletico Madrid
Apparently it does, otherwise Ronaldo wouldn't have 5 Ballon d'Ors, because he sure as hell doesn't win them for his mesmerising play or genius playmaking
everyone commenting on this barely watched a serie a game all season
he played like shit all year bar 3 matches
basically - he was ronaldo
If goals scored by non african players counted as half Liverpool would win too
TSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

THE IRONY
>makes pakis tune in to their meme league
I do call him mvp just for that
I haven't laughed this hard in a while. I expected some really bad move or a silly mistake but I wasn't ready for this.
it's not like Ronaldo contributes anything else to the team
Ameribro doing God's work
OP is officially OBSESSED
kek
But what if every long range goal would result in multi ball phase of 3 mintues?
He wasn't bad against Ajax either
Holy shit
>i-it was Florentino who bbought his awards!!!! he'll be exposed!
Seething
>According to the stats used Quagliarella wouldve won the MVP but they decided to include the Super Copa games between AC Milan and JJust so Tsunaldo couldve finished first.
isn't that what his entire career built on ?
>h-hey guys, you r-remember Ronaldo is palying here r-right?
I thought you annoying buttfuckers got btfo. Please leave for good
but it was bought this time too
Juventus clearly bought it.
He wasn't the best player in the league. Not the top scorer nor the top assister.
If Juventus never bought him literally nothing would have changed except maybe they would've actually won more than a single trophy
meanwhile he continues to collect titles in the best leagues in Europe.
a true Renaissance footballer.
Messi fans can continue to worship their medieval hero who never left his village, never came in contact with the classics, and just read and reread the Barcelona bible until the day he died.
cringe
Why does everyone keep ignoring the fact that he plays for a team that constantly refuses to attack and that is throwing away every game since the league victory?
He basically has to play every game against his opponents and his own teammates in order to score
it's called an education.
>best leagues in europe
>juventuswinslol
>Chelsea and manU
How is it possible to have negative stats in this?
>juventuswinslol
>citywinslol
>psgwinslol
>barçawinslol
>bayernwinslol
They probably won/drew games in wich opposing teams scored from outside the box that with the new system would have been draws/losses
both historically and factually, they're the most prestigious leagues.
there's no dispute.
Poor Ronaldo has to play in the best team in the league by a mile while the lucky cunt Quagliarella has world class teammates Praet and Murru giving him assists.
Boo-hoo, for this to be fair, Ronaldo would need to play for Frosinone.
Why won't he play for Frosinone?
So unfair.
>the lucky cunt Quagliarella has world class teammates Praet and Murru giving him assists
Actually yes, because at least Samp is able to string a few passes together and build some offensive maneuver, which is much more helpful for a striker rather than making countless crosses in a crowded box aiming at you like Juventus has been doing the whole season.
I'll tell you, Ronaldo did even more in there than what he could, not less
Didn't he dominate your league, you know, the best league in the world, when he was 23 or something?
I unironically think this is a top 5 Ronaldo season. His team is shit, his league is shit, he had no coach, not a single other good player on the team... The numbers he managed to put are crazy considering all that.
Imagine going from Modric, Kroos, Isco, Bale, Benzema, Lucas, Marcelo, Carvajal to Matuidi, Betancour, Pjanic, Mandzukic, Cuadrado lmao
to be fair, those you cited from RM were (almost) all still there this season and they sucked ass without Ronaldo.
Quagliarella also won the best forward award (to avoid every misunderstanding, this is NOT the top scorer award).
If Quagliarella was the best forward and Ronaldo is a forward, how can Ronaldo be the best player overall??
won the league innit.
it's the other guy that was crying that it's unfair, learn to read
>GF Samp: 58
>GF Juve: 70
b-but muh defensive football
and? So did Chiellini but he didn't win best defender
Juve won the league in the last 7 years without him and would have won this year as well regardless of him.
It also makes no sense that if you are a forward and don't win the best forward award you win the MVP regardless of who wins the league
*misses*
awards don't make much sense in general.
to denounce how unfair they are is a pointless exercise.
only titles matter.
>n-no it's the team that doesn't passes him enough
So you gave up on proving he desrved it.
Juve also wons less titles with Ronaldo than without Ronaldo in the last 4 years and also had a worse CL campaign btw
It's not like he didn't do his job when he was need, he scored or made assists during matches stuck on a draw or a disadvantage, he scored the winning goal for the supercoppa and he scored important goals in CL. Not really his fault the team behind him sucked ass
I was going to reply to you but what's the point? Ronaldo is the GOAT, you're just a monkey on a imageboard with nothing to do.
>Not really his fault the team behind him sucked ass
Jesus Crist how can you unironically say this when his team won the league in march and he's being outscored by people from fucking Samp and Genoa-Milan, he literally has the best team in the league behind him he has no excuses
>MARCELO WHERE ARE YOU?
>RAMOS DO SOMETHING!
>BENZ? ISCO? BALE?!?!
>SOMEBODY PLEASE SAVE ME!
It's unironically easier to score in CL than in SerieA
>muh penalties, the Sampdoria dude shouldve won!!1
Quagliarella scored 10 penalties
my point is Ronaldo has added to his prize/record list.
for a first season when he's still adapting I think it's pretty good.
and yes, I think awards are pretty much meaningless (i.e. people give them the meaning and importance they choose to give), so I won't dispute whether he does or doesn't deserve them.
I'm pretty sure, like every player who has ever been awarded anything, that some of his awards have seemed unfair to some people and totally fair for others, but they're usually not objective (unless it's a quantitative stat, like goals scored) like a title, so I dismiss them as subjective and based on too many things that are external to what happens on the pitch.
Unpopular post
>for a first season when he's still adapting I think it's pretty good.
yeah almost as good as Piatek, also pretty good for a player paid 100m and getting 30m net per year and that was supposed to make the team step it up is not enough
maybe, and? We are talking about the league here
it does if you're a striker
>We are talking about the league here
And as I said he did better than what he could, or do you actually think he would've scored 40 goals like he did every year in LaLiga?
For his first season in a new and completely different league are 21 goals and 8 assists supposed to be few?
football is slightly more complicated than Dragon Ball, players don't exactly have power levels.
it's never automatic that a team of top players or expensive players will be any good.
but I still think it's a decent enough start for Ronaldo, considering the move, his age, etc.
not having won the league would've been disappointing, but at least they ensured that.
not everyone can be as lucky as Paulo Sousa, who won the UCL with Juventus and then the next year with Dortmund.
it's insane if you think about it, especially if you consider Juventus --> Dortmund a downgrade.
Reminder that Ronaldo was the player to take the most free kicks (16) in all of Serie A this season — converting a grand total of ZERO into goals. That's right, out of SIXTEEN free kicks he didn't score ONCE.
>For his first season in a new and completely different league are 21 goals and 8 assists supposed to be few?
for someone that is considered the best in the world, plays for the best team in the league and is paid as much as he is? Yes i'd expect him to outscore Quagliarella, Zapata and Piatek. Unrealistic expections i know.
Not that we have a benchmark seeing as the other so called GOAT won’t leave his safespace
>mfw the one time he lets Pjanic take one he fucking scores it
based
Ah yeas going to a team that dominated theyr league for 7 fucking years and counting, and that also reached 2 final and a semifinal in the last 4 year of CL, what a brave move, such challenge much wow. Messi also outscored him in the league in the last 3 seasons straight btw
He's being outscored by an older player and by a player that just moved in too, playing for worse teams. Also the is stil good, he just didn't improve it as expected.
>The Italian premier league is so shit that they have a team from Atlanta in it
Lmao fags
>it: poortubros btfo
>implying Ronaldo winning a scudetto will have any other interpretation in the history books other than "and he also won a scudetto in Italy, adding to his increasing and eclectic prize list".
>implying the history books will in any way adhere to supposed "asterisks" imagined by random american Yea Forums anons.
>implying he won't score 5 next week
>His team is shit, his league is shit, he had no coach, not a single other good player on the team
Holy fuck the delusion
Juve has been top 5 in Europe for 5 years now
Lmao
He has fewer goals against the prem top 4 than Messi (who has never even played in the league)
Yes, he truly dominated
Reminder Ronaldo has
1. The most shot attempts
2. The most shot misses
Reminder Ronaldo is not
1. Top scorer
2. Top assister
Reminder he got Allegri fired even with Allegri having a 75% win percentage and 2 CL finals, above 18% higher win rate than any other manager in Juventus history.
messifags one day:
>you dont need to score to have a good game, goals don't mean much
messifags another day
>this guy doesnt deserve the mvp award because he didn't score that much
The point is
If you value style over statistics, Messi wins hands down
If you value statistics over style, it's either close or Messi wins in that as well
>Yea Forums still doesn't understand the concept of different systems and leagues affecting a player's output
>after we saw Salah doubling his best goalscoring record in Roma in his very 1st season at Liverpool
>after we saw Tadic having as many goal contribution in the CL alone this season with Ajax as in all competitions with Southampton last season
Yes I bet Messi would be doing his Jordi Alba combo with Alex Sandro under Allegri
only the real GOAT could make so many fags seething
>Can't outscore 36 year old geriatric Quagliarella Tagliatelle
>Still defend penaldo
>flag
You can just see a man slide into madness here.
>Ronaldo can't play Euro final
>Portugal wins
>Ronaldo comes back for World cup
>Portugal loses
>Ronaldo can't play Nations league games
>Portugal wins
can't wait for him to come back to Portugal and CHOKE. Or maybe you will be lucky and he'll be injured again.
lel
classic rapenaldo
it's because Messi actually does something besides waiting in the box for tap-ins
Ronaldo is the biggest tryhard this sport has seen.
I too congratulate ronaldo for joining serie A dark horse Juventus and winning an unprecedented 8th straight title
>implying being a tryhard in sports is bad
>Betancour
>shit
Juventus won the league niggers
That's why mozarella scoring more goals doesn't say a lot
FUCKING KEK
LMAO@ moortuguese faggot in full denial
