First time since 2008 that a north east team hasn't been in the FA Vase final. Ridiculously dominant region in the competition.

how many tickets sold?

Ah feck, didn't see this thread.

There are still two cups up for grabs at Wembley today, the FA Trophy and the FA Vase.

First up is the FA Vase at 12.15pm, open to clubs in the 9th tier of English football and below. Chertsey Town FC take on Cray Valley Paper Mills FC. Both are looking to make a double, as both won their tier 9 divisions this season, the Combined Counties League and the Southern Counties East League respectively.

Later at 4.15pm, AFC Fylde meet Leyton Orient in the FA Trophy, which is open to clubs in the 5th-8th tiers. Orient are also looking for a double, having won the National League to rejoin the EFL, whilst Flynde return to Wembley a week after losing the playoff final to Salford.

Kevin Lisbie once scored a hat trick against Liverpool

>Chertsey Town’s nickname, the ‘Curfews’ is derived from a locally famous bell that hangs in the nearby St. Peters Church. The bell has rung out the evening curfew, now only ceremonially, for over five hundred years

Nice

The Chertsey lads are singing the national anthem and the CVPM lads aren't, so they're my choice

Staines reporting in

I love non-league. Every club has a story, a community, a reason to keep going and volunteering and everything.

Sometimes that seems missing in modern Britain.

Apart from the new era of bankrolled shithouses like Class of '92ford, Flynde & Billyricky.

Sunbury reporting. Cam on Chertsey score sam fakin goals

Attached: Sunbury.jpg (615x409, 58K)

How many in the crowd you reckon? More than the Salford game at least

Aye. They'll eventually burn out like clubs like Kidderminster or Rushden & Diamonds though.

Dunno, there won't be a singular attendance figure because the £25 ticket includes both this game and the FA Trophy later.

Why don't the plastics support propa clubs like Chertsey instead of their Ronaldo and Messi FCs

Every little shitty 4th tier village club in England has a dedicated fanbase,
then why is fan ownership so unpopular in England?

>then why is fan ownership so unpopular in England?
what?

Some proper grim looking cunts in the crowd

fan ownership, you heard me. club is run and owned by thousands of shareholders-members, and not by one arab billionaire

Thanks for grant.
Now give Aribo tah

any stream chavs?

He's going Southampton by the sounds of it

Fan ownership isn't unpopular, just not viable a lot of time.

You're talking at a completely different level to what's actually on show here. Most of the people at these clubs won't be full time.

Nawwwww look at his little face back in the day

Good save keeps

I'm torn lads.

I'm a Charlton fan so I want based Lisbie to score sam fackin goals. But I also only live 5 mins from Chertsey

Is the winner entered into the non-league UEFA Cup?

Attached: 'arry annoyed.jpg (640x360, 25K)

Unfortunately the UEFA amateur cup is played by County FA-level representative teams.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Amateur_Cup

We use a special cup to decide which county represents the FA.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FA_Inter-League_Cup

you linked to the competition that doesn't exist anymore

this is the current amateur competition

>You now remember Chris Powell has 5 caps for England

How does an FA vase final end up being more enjoyable to watch than an FA cup final lads?

Non league football is hideously underrated because the new breed of customers have been successfully tricked into thinking £££=entertaining.

All you need is two fairly evenly matched teams who both genuinely want to win and you have yourself a good game.

You now remember Darren Powell

Reheating some chicken satay I ordered last night. Actually tastes alright tbqh

Hampton and Richmond borough legend

This. Nothing beats going to an actual live sporting event. I feel somewhat sorry for the plastic bastards who'll never know what it feels like because they only watch through screens.

cray valley manager looks like he owns a vegan cafe in the gentrified part of town

Well said lad.

For me, it's DJ Campbell

Attached: Surrey lads.png (457x405, 67K)

Just the most recent one on Champman. Yeah I just never grew out of the habit of playing it. It's a little more simple so more relaxed

>What part of Surrey are you from lads?

Montserrat is actually only composed of dual nationals living in England, since the island has 5000 population and half of the islands is unihabited
