What da fug is wrong with you, America?
This ToC decision is pathetic.
Also, TVG is very incosistent in his stand on strict rules.

Super Chad
For me, it's Ropler
He said he couldnt put out his max watts, hed have lost time himself too
at least doping cheaters put their body on the line, cancellara is a moto fraud
youtube.com
maybe, but yesterday was neutralised - couldve bought him a day
How much do cyclists eat before a race that they always have this bloated belly. Not very aestethic
Who's the chief?
>Still believing the moto meme
Reddit is that way son
Sad
Fully agree
Bro the whole peloton believed it. I have this from reliable sources
Could be a breathing technique where you use the diaphragm
Ropler is the chief
Anyone whos seen the video where he drops that dude on a sharp short cobble hills knows he moto doped.
Also that suspicious 3/4 bike changes.
Gets my noggin joggin
Yes, you're right, yes
hot ngl
The acceleration in Paris-Roubaix looks way more suspicious imo, no harder peddling, it seems he'isnt putting power on the pedals and he just flies away.
Its just their stomach that kinda drops a bit bc of their very agressive body position.
Specially noticeable on big riders.
>Is the greatest tempo rider of his generation
Did he use a motor for all his wins then? Retards
Does roglic shave his ass?
Hmmm
You don't?
>Is supposed expert
>Doesn't even know who Tom Boonen is
kys newfag
Someone in the comments claims the break just had an insane low tempo of 32 kmh in that moment. I always found the Muur suspicous
Never rated Boonen lads
No, i believe he probably only did it in 2010. The unneeded bike changes in Flanders especially make it very suspicious. A mechanic that stands ready next to the road to give you a new bike???? (didn't even have a flat)
The e-bike could also have been used in the beginning of the race to save power for the last part....
I only shave my face
He could have won so much more if wasn't addicted to coke in his prime years.
And those time he drove away from the peloton on sprint changes? Did he also magically use a motor then? Your conspiracy is for low-iq people who didn't even watch when he was on top
Pretty cmon mate.
*sprint finishes
Dude its obvious he was a beast but youre too much of a fan boy to realize he used a small motor heck even 25-50watts more is enough to drop someone
I'm not saying that at all. Stop strawmanning. How do you explain the unneeded bike changes? How do you explain most of his generation of the pro peloton believes the "conspiracy" to be true?
I'm starting to think you are just a fanboy.
Oh, and all the other times he won Flanders and Roubaix? Did he just randomly decide to use it once? Is the earth flat too? Stop talking you low iq brainlet
So what are your favourite riders ?
Vino
Virenque
Zabel
Hushovd
Voeckler
Nibbles
Kangert
Lopez

>How do you explain most of his generation of the pro peloton believes the "conspiracy" to be true?
citation needed, no I'm just tired of every idiot on earth thinking they're special with their edgy conspiracies from youtube videos
Kek im watching since 2001, cyc has a lot of oldfags
Strong break. Could stay away
>tfw have to go to work now and miss the rest of todays stage
Explain to me how he won all his other victories then, Hans? Why did he randomly use a motor once??
I heard everyone stopped doping in 2009 and now cycling is clean. Is dat true?
Barguil when he wasnt a whiny bitch.
Alaphilippe.
Alberto Contador.
Roglic.
Simon Yates.
Big Tom.
De Gent.
Pantani.
Bird song.
A. Schleck
So why not just say he doped? Instead of creating an improbable theory with absolutely no substance to it?
Top levels dope at very small amounts.
Plus those whove doped when they were younger have physiologic advantages over those who havent, even if they are now clean.
Cough cough Valverde.
Yikes
My best friends brother is still a member of the pro peloton and if he says it i will believe him all right. Will obv not dox him...
>How do you explain all the unneeded bike changes in RVV 2010?
No answer heh.
Why do you think the whole peloton disliked SPARTACUS ?
He didn't use them a lot because the frequent bike changes might raise eyebrows and that is just not worth it for shit races. Also 2010 was just the right moment because the tech was developed well and there were no controls for it.
For you info, i'm not denying Fabian is a Great of the sport but he most assuredly cheated in this fashion
That theory is not so very improbable, considering number of granfondo dudes caught with motors and Femke.
Hes still a strong rider but stuff like that dont stop anybody from cheating when a few watts decides about being winner.
We dont know if he diddnt just dope like everyone else before. Moto doping only became available in the last years and is much harder to detect or does anybody believe in the magic iPads ?
If he had a motor it would not be a secret. Literally nobody accuses him except anonymous folk online. Some would say it publicly
So he's a rider that had no problems winning, made millions of dollars - why would he risk it all just to win a random edition of Tour of Flanders?
Why not just say he doped instead? There's no pro rider that's ever been caught with a motor.
>gaimon
>Nico mattan
Dude do you even remember the rivalry between tom and fabian. They would both have given millions for some extra watts
brainlet
It would also be incredibly damaging to the sport if this came out... Even more so than the armstrong debacle
Cancellara had a gear above the rest - here's him simply riding away from the entire peloton in the sprint 3 years before the 2010 Flanders/roubaix - why wouldn't he be able to do the same in 2010? youtube.com
>using gears
>Gaimon
An actual doper who can't get a job on any team
>Nico Mattan
Retired 3 years before those races
nice examples mate
>using legs instead of motors
peloton reacted to late, because the lead out man in the blue was completely gassed. Other riders have done this as well..... Yves lampaert stage 2 vuelta 2017
If you wan't keep treating F.C as a superhuman demigod i won't keep you from doing it. It's rare to see such an idealisation of a rider in this world so i won't continu trying to break his image in your mind
dopeur or not
Yes i think thats the main point they even caught old farts in amateur races with it and cycling had one of its biggest doping scandals. Motodoping would probably have killed it off for good with sponsor pulling out
Why did Cancellara beat everyone in time trials with minutes over and over again? Did he use a motor in all of those? Why is it unrealistic he was just the stronger man in 2010 as well?
This is such a bullshit decision. Burgers don't even hide their bias.
Next you're gonna say Sir Chrisopher Froome only took a couple of extra poofs.
We are not talking about TT's however... You are going into a frenzy. calm down
I don't disagree Fabian was probably doped, I just don't see why people think he used a motor when he was consistently the strongest rider in the peloton for a decade
>get proven wrong
>u-u-u-u're in a frenzy
He has won many races where he simply just rode away from others
YOU STILL HAVEN'T EXPLAINED THE 3 UNNEEDED BIKE CHANGES AT RVV YOU FUCKIGN NIGGER
Calm down m8, u're in a frenzy now. Riders change bikes several times during a race all the time, Van Aert had a bunch of bike changes this year in Roubaix
BECAUSE HE HAD PROBLEMS WITH HIS DERAILLEUR OR HAD CRASHED U CANCELLARA DICKRIDER
>And though the topic of Cancellara using a motor has floated about for years, Boonen had never publicly addressed it head on, instead only offering vague answers. Privately, it was rumored, Boonen and Quick-Step manager Patrick Lefevre were convinced Cancellara had cheated, believing his attack on the Muur was impossible without a motor.
>During an April 2017 press conference, just before his final Ronde van Vlaanderen, Boonen was asked if it was always the strongest rider who wins the Tour of Flanders.
>“Yes, most of the time,” he said. “In every race like that, it is not always the strongest that wins, but most of the time it is. In Flanders, I can’t really recall one year… Well, I can recall one year…”
>And which year was that? Boonen simply replied, with a smile, “No comment.” His silence spoke volumes.
>On April 6, two days before the 2018 Paris-Roubaix, Boonen was asked if he believed Cancellara had used a motor to beat him in 2010.
>“Did Cancellara steal the 2010 Flanders due to a motor? Is there any doubt?”
>The question was posed by Samuël Grulois of Radio Télévision Belge Francophone (RTBF). The four-time Roubaix champion was more candid in his answer than he’d ever been.
>“Yes,” Boonen said, in response to being asked if he had lingering doubts about Cancellara’s performance. “But it’s not for me to say. I finished second, and it’s not the one in second who has to say the situation is not normal. It’s very difficult to prove because we do not have the bike to check. It’s too late.”

>Finally a pro who descends worse than me
>the guy who's angry over losing said so
Please tell me your blood values that year, Tom - what about when Cance won it in 2013 and 14? Why did he not decide to not use a motor then? Or all the times he lost the race?

bruh, just bruh
also ignore my stupid spelling
But you can't answer the question - Cance was described as an alien his entire career, why would this one performance not be possible? To me it's always looked like Tom cramped out and was simply just dead on the climb, and Cance was probably on a lighter bike than tom on the climb and that's the reason for the bike change
Reeing internally
Have only been able to watch the TT and one stage of this Giro so far. I was planning to help a friend move tomorrow, but he called me to come help him now
no, all bikes were same model
Boonen didn't cramp up, he was still putting out way too much power for that.
He didn't bonk because after the climb he chased F C at 55km/h ( and lost a minute)
Most pros seems to be really bad at descending. I don't even get how they're so bad because they get plenty of training at it on training rides and races.
Yeah, he lost a lot of time because Fabian was simply a better TT rider and Tom won't admit it, but he died on that climb
Why are there even dutch climbers ? Do they switch with 16-18 when they can move to a place with actual climbs for training or what ??
Tom admits that FC is a better tt'er of course. But on the hill he did not bonk or cramp up. Just doesn't look like it. Anyway i just want to say you argue like a slimy weasel and its pissing me off.
Because I present questions you can't answer, there's never been a pro rider taken for a motor and now we're 9 years after when it supposedly happened, to believe something so improbabilistic you need more proof than he changed his bike 3 times and some people in cycling think he did
>all that fauxchad posting
There's only one /cyc/CHAD and it's this guy.
What the hell?
I've heard that Boonen had less tire pressure than Canc because QS thought it was gonna rain.
Watching it now, he's clearly dying on the hill and is struggling like crazy

Does your Eurosport also show those stupid Bora videos ?
You keep saying it's improbable, bit it actually is not.
The technology is there.
The culture of secrecy and omerta are there.
The testing is a joke.
Possible consequeces for people running the sport in case of a high profile bust are dire.
A lot of circumstational evidences are there.
I'm speaking not of your beloved Spartacus in particular, but of the problem in general.
Again what impact do you think this revelation would have on our beloved sport.....
But you have to admit:
the 3 bike changes without flat tires or problems with the bikes.
The fact his bike was held apart from his teammates.
The unnatural looking movements and accelartions.
Most of ALL: his collegues suspecting it themselves.
Also you should watch some clips of Fabian adressing the rumors, He looks like Nadal denying he takes roids LMAO
nah that is his style he always climbs them like that in full effort. I won't say he was incredibely good but i would say it was 95% of his best.
mine has SANI jew aviv videos and that hot af black haired slag
The Armstrong doping scandal was after 2010, that almost ruined the sport - it's not like a motor doping scandal would've wreaked more havoc
German Eurosport calling out Brits for switching from saving the oceans to Ineos and fracking
yea thats the ads but they also cut the live footage to show you 1-2 minute long videos from bora in their hotels. pretty anoying desu
see for your it would destroy the sport argument and the reason he's pissed off at the hearings is because it's tainted his legacy forever
breakaway at 5 min
letting Amador back on the GC can be a fatal error
i love how butthurt Armstrong is now that he cant show off with his palmares
On what do you base these constations?
your feelings probably
motor doping of one of the greats would destroy it! Normies would simply laught at you if you said that you were into cycling.
Oh you mean moto-riding haha :^)
Normies still laugh at us lid :(
Yes, he doesn't have the right to either
Without doping = 0 yellow jerseys.
Proof? His enourmous fucking ribcage and thus weight. Never in modern times has a man with such a body won the tour.
Nope, unless it was Armstrong motor doping it would've not had near the impact the Armstrong scandal at. Most normies barely know who Cancellara is
Not here in flanders, i am crypto-normie as well :)
Now enough with the shitflinging for me. We have been throwing enough Danebro.
what happened to the others?
Last time reply on subject.
Yes casual fans don't know. But for boomers and regular cycling fans he is a household name. I think the impact and financial repurcussions would be far more grave than you believe.
>You dont believe in moto-doping user, do you ? Theres no way our tablets couldnt detect it !
Case closed. Thanks UCI!
I think you underestimate the amount of fame Armstrong had during his peak. Outside of the peak cycling countries Cancellara is unknown to the general public, everyone in western world knew Lance.
Ok, congrats. Your arguments have been worthless, and you've had no useful proof. Keep peddling your conspiracies derived from a shitty youtube video, and ignore why there's been no apparent use of the technology since 2010 - almost a decade ago. btw, iodized salt might help with your iq deficiency
>never tested positive
Moving on to the next topic - Quickstep should go to the CAS and call out the Jury in California after what happened yesterday
Lmao i was willing to let it rest as i had enough of the argument. First of all, my belief in the so-called conspiracy were not because of the video, rather they were because of implications of a member of the pro-peloton i know and trust. Second, you have been answering next to my questions and knowingly ommiting responses to the most crusial parts of the
irregularities.
The funny thing however is your defending of your Swiss demigod was even more useless. The first thing popping op on google after Cancellara's name is motor. His reputation will never be restored for the rest of his life. Wether or not he motordoped is irrelevant because Fabian has to live the rest of his sad swiss little life under the burden of them. If you watch a docu of what Fabian is doing with his life you can see he is friendless, has no future in the cycling world and only has 2 daughter. Every day those accusations spook in his mind.....
I even hope he never admits his cheating, your hero will die a sad little man with his conscience clawing at his sanity before he leaves our beloved earth.

Really brutal...I really want to try out those pro racing bikes.
I would probably my average speed by about 5km/h without even training for more strength-endurance or anything.
On the other hand, it hast to cost like €500. We should buy one for spee.
Do thou ride alone or with a peloton of mates?
Voeckler was a once in a lifetime
You get more aero benefits from a nice deep set of wheels. Bike is roughly 10% of the total drag while wheels are 20% and the rider 70%. Get a set of deep chink wheels and some skintight Lycra.
What about l'Aquila breakaway and David Arroyo?

Nah, it was boring as fuck, you didn't miss anything worthwhile. Even Roglic's crash happened before TV coverage. Jumbo announced that they're planning to give up pink to someone non-threatening before the stage started and bunch of literally whos used this opportunity.
You didn't miss much, it was uneventful, Rogla's crash wasn't even televised, and the doggo probably is the best part of the stage.
He is probably afraid of the shitty road surface.
>Seemed like a decent stage to watch highlights of
*fixado*
tdf is best and comfiest
Holy crap, what the hell!?
The commentators, tho.
Read somewhere (or was it a gcn vid?) that the pro's don't really have that much descent training.
Proper descending is hard to master and going down a hill can only take you through the route once - that sure is not enough to learn anything. And for every few minutes long descent there is a long and hard ass climb. And one descent ain't bringing as much benefit (countable gains, however small) as just chugging climbs or interwhales or whatever else.
And it's also pretty darn dangerous.
WE POST IN ONE THREAD; AND ONE THREAD ONLY
(image limit hits excluded)
Yeah, but pros do massive amounts of hill repeats, mostly even on the same hills. You get a chance to improve your descending every time you do a climb. What goes up must come down and all that.
I'd also argue that it's much more dangerous trying to hang onto a group on a downhill when you're not comfortable with descending and don't know how to take corners. And all they'd need is some basic knowledge on how to apex corners.
I dunno, maybe it's just something that comes naturally to others and some just don't get it. It's just painful to watch a peloton full of supposed professionals come down a hill like amateurs. Then again if I think about the times I've been riding in hilly areas there are two types of descenders, those that are sketchy as fuck and those that bomb down hills like they were born to do it. With the former group being the majority.
All the Britshits crawl out of their holes to see their asthma boys winning it, is not comfy.
