Slovakia was pretty good in late 90's and early 2000's. They had Satan on their side. Since separation of Czech Republic and Slovakia hockey in both countries has regressed. Especially in Slovakia, due to neglecting junior hockey and putting emphasis on adult national team on hockey association level.
