OH NO NO NO
OH NO NO NO
>regulate agents
>make it so they cant earn millions off every transfer and purposely unsettle their players to move so they get more
>use money to reduce ticket prices and improve grass roots football
Literally why dont they do this. Agents are parasitical cancer
and mendes should be the next
Mino is Yea Forums: The Agent. Only redditors dislike him.
He's a jew bastard asshole parasite demon.
so an unlikable, rule-breaking cunt
this, mendes is a far worse cancer than raiola
Good. Fat twat is a cancer on the game
all agents are cancer: The Agent
No one likes agents full stop
>implying it's going to stop him
I understand agents for things like movies because you are constantly acquiring new gigs and setting price points, but what the fuck is even the point for sports? can't you just copy + paste your old contracts and plug in the new teams and amounts?
what's he banned for though
>ah yes a ban
>it's a three month ban, just so all the players he was supposed to deal this summer will be dealt in the winter
It's close to almost nothing.
clauses and shit too. also bear in mind that most players don't have anything approaching a head for business (or especially business law) whereas clubs do, so they often feel they need some kind of advocate to make sure they aren't taken advantage of
agents probably do need to exist but this super-agent fuckery where they shuffle their players around europe for hundreds of millions for no apparent gain to any club is absolute bullshit and obviously has to end
Most people have absolutely zero clue about negotiating, especially at the highest financial levels like this. It's better to pay 10% of your income to ensure you're receiving as close to 100% of your worth as you can then to keep 100% of income that's only 60% of what you could conceivably get.
And also players will gravitate to high-profile agents to have a better chance of getting bought by higher-profile teams, thus making more wage money.
Hopefully this is the beginning.
So agents should work for free? You have no problem with footballers and back up goalkeepers who kick a ball once a season being paid thousands a week but an agent is not allowed a penny?
Please be b8.
Why is it only English people that hate agents btw? You never see the Italians, foreign managers or anyone else complaining about agents fees it’s only English that do it
Where did I say that?
Ideally they'd just not exist and have players negotiate for themselves alongside someone drawing a reasonable salary from the PFA.
The world is run by criminal rent seekers. So they support rent seeking anywhere they find it
>3 months
Its nothing
Pshhh, let me tell you a secret. Global Elites and Banksters are real and controlling the world.
BASED!!!! FUCK RAIOLA
Would you say there's something wrong with working for free?
>bootlicking some suntanned kike
Go back to whatever shithole you crawled out of
because italians are (by definition) scummy rats
The Italians that have just banned Raiola for 3 months?
yeah they were all praising raiola for the donnarumma situation a while back
We're waking up to reality, the others will follow
If there are people willing to do it for free then that's entirely their choice, but it's unlikely they'll ever get a gf or move out of their mum's basement.
>for 3 (T H R E E) months
lmao
i've had shits that took longer than that
People hate agents too but really all they do over here is hijack our players away, it's not like any Dutch club is tricked into buying €130 million 'prospects'
Agents exist exactly for this reason. When you only negotiate once every 3-5 years then you don’t have much experience or knowledge of the market compared to the Clubs who do a dozen big deals a season including young players, contract extensions, etc.
Plus with an agent negotiating on your behalf you don’t run as high of a risk of poisoning the personal relationship with the key people at the club if negotiations are contentious.
That's literally the job description
Based if you ask me
The Italian fans don't give a shit if Raiola makes cash from his moves. You think the Inter fans or the Juve fans would refuse to take Pogba because Raiola might make a million from the deal? I have seen English fans saying their club should do that on principle.
>you don’t run as high of a risk of poisoning the personal relationship with the key people at the club if negotiations are contentious
This seems incredibly short sighted from clubs if this is the case. The player literally employs him to drain as much money as possible from you.
We do, agency is banned here
