meh

It's never the forward that scored two goal and gave such clear chances when the defence lets in 4 goals in 90 minutes
But he still should have done something about it

was everybodys fault desu
messi is the captain he has to do something whether thats scoring assisting or defending or showing some sort of emotion
rakitic was making horrible passes into dangerous areas and ceding possession
pique was asleep on the 4th goal
alba was the cause of 2 goals
suarez was trash
coutinho invisible
busquets useless
valverde terrible lineup
only person who you can even speak favorably about really is vidal

yes

It was TOTALLY his fault but it was also the fault of all the other players around him. Barça is just filled with pecho frios

It's his fault he carried them that far. That team is fucking shit and everyone that watched more than 10 Barcelona games this year knows it. They couldn't even score away at Lyon.

>carry them past group stage, even go to Tottenham and thrash them with 4 goals
>carry them past Lyon after Suarez and Dembele miss sitters, 2 goals and 2 assists
>carry them past United after looking fucking terrible at Old Trafford, come back and score 2 goals
>grab Barcelona by the balls after being outplayed for 80% of the game at Camp nou in front of your own fans, still randomly come up with goals that dont happen 95/100 times.
>Place your team in a 3 goal lead, all your teammates have to do is not concede 4
>they concede 4

lmao
The team is a bunch of cold chested chicken shits, also Suarez has withdrawn from all remainder of the season games today.

Is it true he doesn’t understand english at all?

if ronaldo can score a hattrick when down 2-0 in aggregate, then messi can atleast score 1 when up 3-0 in his series.

what happened in the first leg

why would he know english?

why do you know english?

I mean, why can Moura carry his team back from a 3 goals deficit but he can't? makes you think, doesn't it?

He played 3 through balls to put his teammates through on goal in the second leg. Yeah alright he missed a couple himself but seeing as he scored 2 and was the only real playmaker in both games, and he's not a defender, blaming him is retarded
9/10 performance, 6/10 in the second = not his fault at all. Just don't concede four goals lmao

Argentines don’t have the same ghetto killer instinct as Brazilians

No but it proves he's mental midget compare to ronaldo, tsu is worth at least 1 goal even if the team is losing, messi just went missing again especially in the second half and missed crucial chance.

i went to school instead of focusing on football

Not his fault. On another day Suarez and Coutihno take the chances Messi created and the rest is history.

He was the only dangerous player, and the fact they were even up 3-0 from the first leg is down to him.

Ridiculous to blame Messi for that performance. Valverde should be the one getting the blame for not changing their tactics.

He was clearly resting mate. He’s got a big game against getafe next

this but unironically

Sick of you. He played like shit. Fuck off

Face it he played like shit in the first match too. He got lucky with his first goal and yeah the second was a nice goal but it definitely isn’t the kind of goals that Barça fans want to see from him (he’s le epic dribble pass players man). Played bad the first leg in Manchester and got lucky again with a De Gea gift goal in the return leg. Still overall he had a 7/10 performance in the champions league but TSU has elevated the standard of what truly a great performance is that the poor manlet now won’t ever reach such levels. Not his fault, being cl Ronaldo just isn’t easy.

>Face it he played like shit in the first match too.
agreed

No it's never the little magician's fault.
Where was higuain? I'm sure the loss was all on him.

>First leg
you mean when he ourtan whole liverpool defense, came back to take balls and set up like 7 would be goals?, yeah he played like shit

>7 would be goals?
lol. the only thing worse than people who look at this sport through the prism of stats are the people who look at it through the prism of 'WOULD/SHOULD be' stats

He faced a team that was roughly 30 points below PSG in the league for gis RO16 games.
He faced an absolutely awful and joke of a club in United for the quarters. A team who was and still is 6th place in their league.
He finally faces a decent team, scores a tap in, scores a deflected freekick and then chokes a 3 goal lead.
You tell me.

>a deflected freekick

Was it a deflected freekick? I remember thinking “Jesus the direction of that shot is just inhuman” this would explain that

It was deflected. Messi just put enough swerve into it for the shot to correct itself. He himself said that it was a lucky shot. It was a nice freekick but a deflection none the less

Big mistake user

no

it literally hits his shoulderm rises slightly, and spins ever so slightly faster. kek

He played pretty well throughout the whole CL run. The last game he was average. Even Klopp said that they shouldn't have necessarily won 4-0 just as Liverpool shouldn't have lost the first game 3-0.

Interesting

That’s a shit angle to look at that play, and it does look like the ball touched the shoulder of the player but I don’t know if it would be enough to completely change the direction of the ball in such a drastic way

You know, to me, that's the main reason why he doesn't want to leave spain.

M8, havent you heard? Its Higuains fault

and that is fine, he did well first leg

when Barca is choking like Argentina of course its his fault

no

it's was his fault because he didn't shot the goal in the basket

No, he could've done better but the entire team played like absolute garbage and it wasn't surprising when you look at it in hindsight.
Valverde fucked up with his tactics and player choice, should've taken anfield into account.
Semedo should've started
Their midfield was complete shambles as well, neither technical nor athletic enough to deal with Liverpool pressing.
Changes came way too late as well.

His job was to score one (1) (uno) goal. Someone considered as GOAT and god should be able to do that when it matters, but he failed 3 years in a row.
It was a mistake to put him as the captain of the team, when things go sour he just looks down and walks away instead of cheering and boosting the morale of the team

all he needed to do was score ONE goal in the second leg and they would have won on away goals. He couldn't even manage to do that

he definitely did go missing in the 2nd half but he laid on perfect passes for 3 of his teammates, one of those should have been converted
yes he wasn't that good but there are at least 5 or 6 barcelona players I blame before him, hardly his fault that they concede 4. rakitic and busquets just got steamrollered all game and you could argue alba was personally at fault for 2 of the goals

He could have put away some of the chances he had, but you can't blame the right winger for his team shipping four goals.

That and his autism.

>he definitely did go missing in the 2nd half but he laid on perfect passes for 3 of his teammates, one of those should have been converted
The problem with the current Barcelona is that they play only for Messi. Just look at this play, any other player from a normal team would've been more selfish and shoot by himself, but barsa players will always look for Messi. So if he doesn't step up, the team crumbles because they have only trained to play with him in the middle of everything.
He should be the one stepping up and scoring the goals when shit hits the fan, and not do always the same: pass and hope someone else does the job.

But he knows some english, there are interviews with his in English.

Obviously not. But brainlets will always blame the best player on a team for its failures.

>But he knows some english, there are interviews with his in English.
And he also knows japanese because he said Messi kimochi

Kek don't be petty I actually heard whole normal interview in English. Sure it's not perfect or anything. You can search it up on YT.
