In 1993 oly ultra went from Athens to Limoges in bus with a dead guy all along the way (he overdosed from drugs and alcohol) without giving a single fuck, for the final game of the EL QF.
They didn't have tickets though, so they just punched their way through.

In 1997, Pana was playing against Limoges too (Pana had Sconochini, Nicola or Dinkins back then, that was 1 year after Wilkins), for the EL RO16, and they were so butthurt to be led in the final minutes that they just cut the electricity in the arena. However they forced the game to keep going on without the scoreboard or the clocks, so the possession clock was "counted" by the official table and, what a coincidence, they called several shotclock violation against Limoges to allow Pana to win.

Story told by Gregor Beugnot, a French ex-international player who was playing for Limoges too in the late 80's: Aris or PAOK (don't remember which one) hired some big name American player to play in a qualification group for the EL (or its equivalent back then), but they eventually failed to qualify. When the US guy went back to his hotel room, it was crowded with policemen who spiked his room with drugs and told him "get the fuck out of the country without being paid and we'll let you go".

He's been pretty good desu. Lowered Season ticket prices and our average Attendance is the 14th best in the entire country despite only finishing 9th in the championship.
