ajax were unbelievably good in the opening minutes, and the fact that spuds turned it around in the end was incredible too. but I don't think the second half was as amazing as people are saying, there were a lot of errors and shitty fouls breaking up the play. crowd was really nervous and the atmosphere suffered as well.
still an 8/10 game but not 10/10

Unironically this, Ajax went from deserving Champ with lots of class to exposed new kid on the block. Spurs never showed any brilliance beside mental resilience and some squad versatility. Now everyone over here will sleep and wake up with a 'new found positivism' because we should be proud and shit. That doesn't remove the fact that Ajax showed their belly and lost face. I can think of way better ways to go down fighting. In the end allot of the realists suspicions were validated. Idealism only gets you so far.
