Spurs
Away from home
All in one half
Hat trick win with last kick of the game

It’s dead even
Liverpool was down 3-0 against Messi and scored 4 when a tie would lose it for them
Tottenham was down 3-0 with one quarter to go and a whistle beater
But
Liverpool was playing at home and Tottenham was playing away

Equally good

Liverpool
No Salah
No Firmino
3-0 in away match
Confident Barca (before the game)
A masterclass from Alisson
A clear-cut 4-0

spurs, the Barca Liverpool game looked very staged and If it's not Barca played really shit

>win a game 3-2 against plucky underdogs from a shit league
>win a game 4-0 against one of the best teams on the planet and the greatest player to ever live

Attached: 1436567258501.jpg (640x519, 29K)

>the absolute state of messoyfags

Attached: 1681F895-1EBB-4B50-B171-B924893C84BB.jpg (320x329, 32K)

liverpool obviously
all spurs had to do was win
liverpool had to win by three goals without conceding, otherwise they'd have to win by four goals

and of course barca > ajax

Can’t argue against a 90+5 min goal perfecting a 3 goal comeback away from home all in one half la

it's twain you idiot. he's using a greek proxy now and is baiting hard.

Spuds in terms of actual gameplay, scoring 3 away goals in a single half is genuinely brilliant.
Liverpool's was the most kino because it was on home turf though, and memes aside Anfield is a brilliant ground on European nights.

>one quarter to go and a whistle beater

last 25 minutes of the final are going to be mad

Ajax would have beaten barcelona
United vs PSG
England had the best comeback

Fuck all, that's why

Attached: elg.jpg (843x1390, 128K)

tottenham's goals were nicer

liverpool's were fluky garbage, tap in and a header against manlets

Liverpoop scored 4 goals in one game despite everyone thinking it was over for them. This is a Jesus Christ tier comeback. Spurs won against a team of toddlers

Spurs did.

Liverpool scored 3 goals in one half, retard

You know what I meant. Also one quarter left is technically right.

This.

Imagine believing that the CL is not staged

He specified away friend

Liverpool, it was against uefalona and they didn't have 2/3 of their traditional attack front, absolute kino

we don't say that here . learn to fit in. bet you were bullied in school

are you joking?

Liverpool by a mile

I wasn’t bullied, I was just ignored, which is worse.

The question is what was better?
Alexander IQ 500 play or Lucas miracle?
I go for the miracle

I'd say Spurs because the opposition at least fought back and looked dangerous. Barcelona were non-existent in the second leg

Origi and Wijnaldum too great a story line

no one reply to the yank

I'd say Liverpool but they were in the lead early on which gave them momentum in their own stadium. Spurs on the other hand were 2 goals down away from home, without a prayer and just made it work.
So I say spurs

Liverpool
>beat lel liga winners 4-0
>missing 2 crucial front players
>in front of home crowd

Tottenham
>beat some Dutch people Noone has heard of

I can see an argument for both. I think it's near-enough even, taking everything into account. Home/away, Barca being better than Ajax but Spurs being bottlers let alone away from home, etc.

ferme ta gueule à dire quoi faire

They were both pretty great

Liverpool. 4 goals without reply, actually winning by a clear goal rather than a tie breaker, missing 2 of their front 3, Robertson gets kicked off the pitch and its against Messi's Barca

It's alright mate, you don't have to let your childhood define you. Your views and talking points are interesting to the right people you probably just need(ed) the confidence to voice them.

Liverpool for sure, they've dominated Barcelona which will go down in the history and turned around 3-0 from the first game, ajax is a meme club and Spurs should have won both ties comfortably

We all made our apologies to Twain yesterday, don't take his name in vain

Man Utd because it ended up wrecking the team long term

I'm a Liverpool supporter but Barcelona never looked like winning once they were 2-0 down.

I like Tottenham a lot and their game was competitive

trash final desu

This. Messi isn't just a world class footballer, but he's also a professionally trained actor. He's going to be a famous movie star now that his footballing career is over.

liverpools game was hilarious
spurs game was tense

Im giving it to spurs but TAA's corner was the best thing ive seen in a long while

He’s right and you’re wrong

Spurs miss half their team.

Kane was the only relevant player they were missing

introducing football to yanks was a mistake

kim kardashian

> still looking to get BTFO by chadwain

>in front of home crowd
that just makes it easier

Does it matter? We've just witnessed two of the greatest CL comebacks back to back in the same week.

this y esto

Does it matter? Eternal ally bringing god tier kino to a TV near you

beating a bunch of zoomers who played too much fort night the day before doesnt seem that impressive

Liverpool actually won.
Spurs got a draw, AGAIN, and only advanced because of the retarded UEFA rule.

>muh home advantage
Both teams play at home once so both have an "advantage" once. This rule is GARBAGE! Hope Liverpool btfos the retarded Tottenfags.

Liverpool.

Purely because it was more of a team effort, no lucas moura and Spurs lose 3-0.

Plus Liverpool actually won on aggregate Spurs have gone through twice now on away goals.

>one of the best teams on the planet and the greatest player to ever live
Its not 2009 anymore

Liverpool.

Barcelona are considered to be the final boss of world football.

Ajax are a bunch of zoomers who stayed up too late the night before the game playing Fortnite and smoking weed lmao.

Lucas is also a sub

are u me?

Liverpool win 4-0 against Barcelona
Messi left crying in the changing room
Liverpool had no Keita, no Salah, no Firmino
Barca rested their complete 11 the previous match
Liverpools complete 11 played a game just two days prior

Spurs play without Harry Kane and win against Ajax
> Ajax

Ajax has overperformed, they have some great talent.... but comparing it to winning 4-0 against barca? We're not just talking about scoring 4 goals, but not even conceding one.

IS THIS A QUESTION WE EVEN NEED TO ANSWER?

Are you actually going to claim that Barca aren't one of the best teams in the world? Give us your top 5 then m8.

barca is on it's own level above ajax, dont let those retarded journalist shill zoomers to you

Liverpool had 90 minutes to score 3 goals
Spurs had 45 minutes to score 3 goals

against ajax...

Close but Spurs. Last second drama. 5 mins of jew time and Moura's 3rd crossed the line at 5:01

Liverpool just got upstaged big time. Last minute winner too. Deal with it.

>LFC
No Salah, no Firmino

>Spurs
No Kane

Barca are shit away....
Ajax at home...

It's a tough call. I would say LFC had a better agg comeback, but Spurs had both an agg comeback and an ingame comeback, so spurs.

>We
>Apologies
I didn't apologize to that annoying retard yesterday and i'm not gonna do it.

>Liverpoop scored 4 goals in one game despite everyone thinking it was over for them.
Who thought it was over for Liverpool?

>farcelona
>best teams on the planet
Wolves would smash em

>being 3 goals behind Ajax in the first place
>you only manage to get a draw in the last second
>you only "win" because of away goal rule
pathetic

>winning 2-3 to a fucking Dutch club to advance on away goals
>comeback
Pick one and only one

Tottenham scored the deciding goal in literally the last second

>coming back from a losing position to win
>not a comeback
not smart are you laddy

3-0 down on aggregate is a comeback

Liverpool, because it was against Barcelona.

I mean they did knock out real and juve. Hypothetically if that ajax team were to stay together, in 5 years time they could be one of the best. But de jong has already fucked off :(

The one who wins the final. You know that's how it will be remembered.

cope

kek

spuds won on gay away rule liverslip actually won

Spurs

Barca didn't turn up. it's much harder to beat a team that turns up, earns the 3-0 lead in the 2nd leg, and then manages to get fucked

Jokes on you, I was too busy being shot to be bullied

>muh turn up

maybe it's because liverpool and anfield didnt allow them to turn up , bet you didnt think of that little nigglet

and ajax turned off in the second half , whats your point bitch tits?

Tottenham.

Liverpool matched Barcelona in the first leg and were very unlucky to be 3 down and then blew them away at Anfield.

Tottenham were 3-0 down deservedly then completely flipped it in 1 half.

Ajax totally bottled it in that second half.

The winning goal showcased it perfectly. de ligt missed a header from a hoofball against llorente, another Ajax player slipped over, then several of them fell over like puppets with their strings cut as the goal went in.

all these salty ABL niggas saying totenham , hahaha

>first time watching football outside of WC games

good show lads, good show!

Liverpool go into the game 3-0 down, without 2 of their best players, probably about to lose the premier league at the weekend.
They play amazingly for 90 minutes and put FOUR past fucking BARCA while their goalkeeper kept out FIVE shots on target from players like Messi and Suarez.
Liverpool literally took a season that was about to end humiliatingly and flipped it on its head.

Spurs went into this game 1-0 down and only missing one player, who they play better without anyway.
They play like fucking shit for 45 minutes against a bunch of Eredivisie kids. Then at half time they decide fuck it they have nothing else to play for so just hoof the ball up the pitch for the second half.
Who would have guessed but a bunch of short Dutch children can't handle hoofball and mentally collapse.

how can 'coming back' against Ajax be considering great?

Liverpool was 3-0 down with 90 minutes and at home
Tottenham was 3-0 down with 45 minutes, away and with the momentum in the leg already against them since they were 2-0 down on the night.
Both teams missing key players with injury.
So Spurs

Spurs were already in the middle of the game and just decided to throw the kitchen sink and it managed to work against weak minded kids

Liverpool actually had to go into the game knowing they needed 4 goals and a clean sheet over 90 minutes.

>so both have an "advantage" once
What the fuck is the problem then? They both have equal opportunity to earn the advantage. The only argument against it is when a game goes to extra time

The second and third Spurs goals were hilarious.

Second one an Ajax player kicks the ball out of his goalkeeper hands to Moura. Third one, long ball hoofed in, no-one attacks ball in the air, then the slip, followed by three man synchronized fall.

Ajax was playing the same. Tbh Spurs should have smoked this tie. When they played at their level in the second half of both games Ajax weren't at the same level as them. Spurs seem to start games very badly and not get going until second half.

>Spurs were already in the middle of the game and just decided to throw the kitchen sink and it managed to work against weak minded kids
Honestly for a dirty team they had a strange fucking approach to this tie. They were being physically bullied by Ajax in that first half, the same fucking team that kicked Chelsea off the park 3 years ago playing murderball

I think the Spurs was better, because not only was a better match but also because Ajax played a good second half (with two shots hitting the post and one great save by Lloris). Yesterday Barcelona had no answers for Liverpool, they didn't fight as hard as Ajax... And also that fourth goal was some amateur hour shit

>their goalkeeper kept out FIVE shots on target from players like Messi and Suarez.

Lloris made better saves. Messi and Suarez scuffed most of their shots.

As a controlled demolition, Pool win is better, for the wily underdog playing away from home winner, I'd go with the Spuds.

Why are you being such a cunt m8?

Spurs, from a neutral point of view. It was brilliant end to end stuff with Ziyech also playing out of his mind (Chelsea should sign him up as Hazard replacement btw) any other day and it could have been a Spurs blowout/Ajax scoring just enough.

What Liverpool had going for them is they are up against a top 3 team in Barca, but they are playing at home and pretty much controlled the match, the goals were lesser quality too technique wise but were more gritty/soulful esp that TAA cheeky corner. It could be argued as the harder comeback purely because of having to beat Barca.

Spurs though damn, that is a top 5 match all time there showing the beauty and emotion of football. So many goal line clearances, amazing reflex saves, post hits (flat both ends of th3 pitch!), and Lucas/Ziyech were magical as if their spirit of their clubs were flowing inside them.

Im pretty sure the CL final will be boring as fuck now.

Liverpool was more impressive, Spurs was more spectacular and climactic obviously because of the timing of the last goal.

Also Pool was at home, and the momentum throughout was with them. It was as if they were against mental midgets who couldnt tuck in and defend a 3 goal lead. Barca didnt impress me with their performance.

With Ajax though, they played really well especially offensively. They had a few defensive fuckups but the goals had more to do with Lucas' brilliance and the team around him giving the perfect passes. The last goal shouldnt have happened though and was mostly due to inexperience, at that late and a CL final in the line everyone should just tuck in once out of possession.

What Spurs did tonight was a lot like what they did when they were 2-0 down away at Juve. Just no one remembers that because Juve got lucky in the second leg. Their current squad have balls.

Both teams have amazing mental fortitude though and fully deserve this final. Im excited but im sure it would be a borefest.

City v Spurs.

>Barcelona are considered to be the final boss of world football.
They were once considered that. Everyone knows they are shit now, and they've been shit in Europe for a few years now. Chelsea's comeback against Barca in 2012 was more impressive than Liverpool's, because they were arguably genuinely one of the greatest sides of all time at that point, Messi was in his prime, and Chelsea had 10 men in the Nou Camp. Liverpool's comeback was great but you only need to look at how Barca defended last night and how dreadful they were in attack to know that this version of Barca is nothing compared to the 2009-2012 one.

If Messi is on the pitch that team is never the underdog. I'd say Liverpool (just) because they had to score 4 and keep a clean sheet

I get this parks and rec reference

Why are Ajax called zoomers?

You can bully the meanest strongest kid in school. And America is that kid.

Filthy casual

About even desu

>Everyone knows they are shit now
They're comfortably winning La Liga and had basically gone unchallenged in the CL so far. This is pure revisionism. If they beat Liverpool 3-0 again, or even just got a 0-0 or something in the second leg, people would be saying "as expected of the best team in the world".

Liverpool’s comeback was better in terms of what they overcame, but the Spurs comeback was more dramatic.
Only Yea Forums faggots will argue instead of being glad we live to see so much cool shit.

liverpool easily
>won outright (not on away goals)
>beat one of the top 2 clubs in the world
>completely neutralize best player in the world

It's coming home

Which admittedly is a fucked up situation. Just allow Both legs to go into ET if its tied on aggregate and the argument dies though.

liverpool scored 3 goals in 45 minutes in the second half

The save Allisson made on Jordi Alba was probably the most important save in either 2nd leg match though.

>greatest player ever live
why can't he win WC then

A side that also conceded 4 goal to Villarreal

and ajax has been humiliated by shitters from their league to , so suck a nigga dick

Spurs.
Liverpool manhandled Barcelona in 170 of 180 minutes and just were extremely unlucky on the first leg. It didn't feel like a comeback in the sense that they always looked in control.

Spurs had 95mins to score 3 goals.

Spurs, people who only mention the number of goal for the liv vs barca didn't fucking watch the game. Barcelona played like dogshit

I'd like to say Spuds but
/thread
Neither can match up to the 2005 final anyway.

>The only argument against it is when a game goes to extra time
Not really. Don't statistics show that the team that plays the second leg at home has the advantage? Extra time counting away goals partially makes up for that.

Both are on par but different scenarios. They should honestly spilt 1st place evenly and call it a draw for their incredible performances.

Liverpool comeback was more embarassing for Barcelona but both comebacks were as good
