Never to late to learn something and play on a local shit level for kicks. Chin up

You can still play in some sunday league

>not tearing it up at your local 5-a-side

>tfw that moment comes when you're 18 that you realize you're officially past the age and now all the new prospects coming up are younger than you
>tfw you can't look up to players anymore

Attached: tfw some white trash wants to shoot me.jpg (1224x1505, 234K)

>tfw too old to become anything

>tfw late twenties
>tfw most active professional footballers are now younger than you

too few a number of players to hide all/any of my flaws as a footballer.

It's a shit youth though. But as you are on Yea Forums you probably had a shit youth anyway just without the millions of Euros at age 20.

You're already too late if you're like 14 and not playing youth football for a professional club.

>not playing in the non-leagues for fun, then taking up a managerial role in the non-league after you retire, then using your FM skills to work your way up the tinpot leagues to the vanarama, then the EFL, then the prem, then the champions league

>tfw heard about vardy's rise to the prem when I was 14
>became inspired
>started playing footy every day, working on my technicals
>went to the gym consistently and looked after my health because I knew I had a decade of development to catch up on and would peak in my mid 30's
>trained to be a striker because they're the easiest to get noticed
>took six months to master keepie-upies (something I couldn't do at all when I first started this)
>applied for a trial at my local 9th division club a few months after my 15th birthday
>got accepted
>first team regular at 16
>fast forward to current day, I'm now 18 and playing in the vanarama norf after being scouted
I'll have an england cap within the next two decades lads

Life unironically ends at 30

If you haven't made it by then you'll never make it.

Godspeed user

there are a few around here that get "found out" at an older age, like 17 and even 18. They don't become super stars but have respectful careers

which team are you playing at?

God luck /elite/ bro

You finally turned 18?

remember us user, bring the bants to life.

remember to yell "FUCK JANNIES AND FUCK NIGGERS" when you lift the WC, user

Godspeed user!!! Make us proud

Goodluck bro

Tell us the sign you'll give us when you make it to the premier league so we know it's you.

Most successful people achieve it after age 30 (except maybe athletes/actors/singers). However if you're not on a good trajectory at age 30 it's really hard to get going after that.

E.g. some 30 year old going to college and then applying for entry level jobs is just weird.

Godspeed user.

iktf.

Move to the US and you can get into any of their sports because the standard is relatively very poor

You talk like that but I'm getting the feeling UK is like the worse place in Europe to play any pro sport other than football, rubgy and what else?
Idk man, why the hell do we never see brit handball, volleyball, apehop etc teams competing in Europe? Even shit countries like poortugal try to get things going, what's up with that?

Cheer up, user. You can still become an hero.

Just cultural differences. We have cricket, snooker, darts.

when I score my first ever premier league goal I'll do the TSUUUUU celebration and my post-match interview will literally just be "my name jeff"

>working at a footy game
>taller than literally all of the players
Why are they so short?

i know a guy here who wasn't anything special and didn't really take football seriously, he quit at 16
he started playing again at 22 way down in the lower leagues and ended up a pro a few years later
he's not even close to national team level or anything but playing football as his profession nevertheless

this. stop being fat

Just have a son and train him into what you wanted to become

Good luck user!

godspeed user, remember us

>tfw 35 y.o.
>tfw literally all the time in the world left

>tfw 23
>With every passing week I fear death more and more
Wtf is going on

I'm 34. If I start identifying as female and taking estrogen I think I've still got 2 years as a top WSL player in me

Do you play for Blyth Spartans?
Did you get promoted this season?

are you a bench boy or do you actually start?

faggot

U could get into fighting

>tfw it's the first season you aren't able to touch the basketball rim
>tfw noticing that you are a little slower than last year
>tfw feeling unusually non-explosive sometimes
it's only going downhill from now on

>play semi-professionally in norway
>at 16, one of the big 6 in PL contacts my club and father to ask if I'd like to join their academy a few months down the road
>dream coming true
>3 weeks before i'm going to england, it feels like someone is sticking a fork into my knee 24/7
>suddenly the other knee as well
>it's so painful i unironically can't walk
>go to sports specialist
>i've got Osgood-Schlatter disease in both my knees from over-training over the years
>the sports specialist says it's the worst case he's ever seen in the 20 years he's been practicing
>tell PL club I can't attend their academy
>get surgery in knees
>PL club no longer interested
>promising football career down the train

And now I'm a NEET posting on this mongolian yak fetish forum 12 hours a day.

Congrats bro. All the top players take steroids and EPO, though. Good luck.

Jamie Vardy didn't get into the top tier of football until he was like 27.

Still got hope lads

Play horse polo instead. I started when i was 16 and i compete in state competitions. Too bad no one gives a shit about the sport

i can make up stories too on the internet

If I wanted to make up stories, I'd pretend to be successful. Not a fucking loser.

>tore my rotator cuff
i will never be a manlet white point guard who has a signature three lads :(

Something like this happened to me. I was still living in Chile at the time and I was in an academy to a first division club there (obv not the same but it was still something huge for me).

At the training, a kid breaks my leg during a practice match. The club lost interest and I eventually lost my chance.

I was lucky and managed to move up to the US and get a decent career though. It makes me sad knowing I could have been at least a decent player at the Chilean level.

Don't you meet hot rich roasties that want your cock if you play real horse polo?

The worst feels is when you almost made it, know the excitement and feeling of being contacted by a major club, only to have an injury fuck up your dreams.

Happened with me in music, almost had a record deal with a big company, and then we got fucked.

Think about necking myself from time to time, shitposting is cathartic.

you better be a double barreled surname half darkie or you have no chance of making the england team bro

Good luck user

Lads I used to play for the US Olympic development soccer team, I'm doing a study abroad in the Czech republic. Do you think I could make a lower league team and work hard to make it up the leagues there?
