I remember back in the mid 2000s if you had a car that could go above 200 you could top out at night in my city and it was glorious, literally no peds or cars, the odd taxi at most. if you tried that now you'd get cut off by some retarded normie in his shitbox bmw or jaywalking drunk and it would all go horrible in seconds.
