when i was a kid we played in some kind of shitty sand-ish stadium, (dunno how do you say that in english, in french we say "stabilisé"), we were about 60 teenagers for only one coach, so nobody was really learning anything. i was pretty good though, used to have nice dribbling skills, wish i played in a decent club back then

sounds like a good time. most young children in america play soccer but move onto to something else when they get a bit older. i never played because i was more interested in video games as a kid but when i was older and wanted to join a sport all my friends were in basketball so i played that. my younger brother played soccer when he was young and it made me a bit jealous that i never played. there's plenty of space here so they always played on a well kept grass field
