Mahomes bought a new house. Is it a mansion or a gaudy gansta rap pimp palace, you ask? Nope, it's a comfy little 3br ranch built in the 50s. Mahomes is a good boi and I bet he stays that way.

He is terrible

Day 2 Picks Who Will Become Stars by Season's End

RB David Montgomery, Chicago Bears
>he's the only player since 2014 to break at least 100 tackles in a single season, and he's done it in each of the last two years.
>In head coach Matt Nagy's offense, Montgomery should see a lot of "light" boxes, as the Bears use a lot of three- and four-wide receiver sets. Most of the time, he will be running against five- and six-man boxes and could put up monster numbers as a rookie.

RB Miles Sanders, Philadelphia Eagles
>Another running back who seems destined for stardom is the Philadelphia Eagles' Miles Sanders.
>He is easily the most explosive at his position on the Eagles and can play on all three downs. Given that he landed on one of the league's best offenses, it wouldn't be a shock to see him tally well over 1,000 yards as a rookie.

WR Parris Campbell, Indianapolis Colts
>Campbell couldn't have landed in a better offense for his skill set.His game is predicated on speed and yards after the catch. His ability to make plays after the catch in the short to intermediate portion of the field makes him a perfect fit with Luck and Hilton. Expect him to quickly become the team's No. 2 receiver as a dynamic weapon.

WR Mecole Hardman, Kansas City Chiefs
>Kansas City traded up to get him. With his 4.33 speed, he'll make splash plays down the field and keep safeties away from the line of scrimmage. If Hill doesn't play in 2019, expect Hardman to produce at a high level right away

WR Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers
>When the Steelers traded Antonio Brown in March, they lacked a receiver who could create quick separation with route running. However, they filled that need with Johnson. He was one of the draft's best route-runners. With his ability to play both on the outside and in the slot, Johnson could quickly rise up the depth chart. Don't be surprised if he's the Steelers' No. 2 receiver in 2019 and becomes another great wideout drafted by general manager Kevin Colbert

Attached: 1556632717045.png (969x1382, 733K)

>no Deebo Samuels
What a shit fucking list. Also are the Bears just moving on from Howard now? Are they going to trade him? Cohen is already entrenched as the starter.

TE Jace Sternberger, Green Bay Packers
> one player who couldn't have landed on a more beneficial team for his skill set: Jace Sternberger. The No. 75 pick is an ideal fit with Aaron Rodgers, as he does most of his work down the middle of the seam. At Texas A&M, he averaged an incredible 17.3 yards per reception and scored 10 touchdowns during his final collegiate season. Don't be surprised if he leads all rookie tight ends in receptions and yards in 2019.

TE Kahale Warring, Houston Texans
>Warring's incredible athleticism got him drafted high. Considering his talent and athleticism, he could rise up the depth chart and become Watson's preferred option in the middle of the field. Warring has the chance to be a star, and it won't be shocking to see him develop into that soon.

DE Chase Winovich, New England Patriots
>In Bill Belichick's defense, expect him to play all over the field and become a better, more athletic version of Rob Ninkovich. Don't be surprised when Winovich makes a few big plays during another Patriots playoff run.

>are the Bears just moving on from Howard now? Are they going to trade him?
Jordan Howard? They already did, to the Eagles.

Is there anything more embarrassing than eagles or bears fans thinking their dumpster fire teams are making it to the playoffs next year?

You're right. For a 6th round pick too. Bad move by the Bears he had 3k yes in his first 3 years. And then the Bears turn around and spend a higher pick on an unproven rookie. Eagles got a fucking steal.

Unironically based. Looks contemporary AF. Undoubtably comfier than a california McMansion. Thank you for not doing more to fuck up the housing market Mr. Mahommes.

Mahomes is only black where it counts. Literally the perfect human specimen

Theyre still more sensible than Yea Forums's rule change suggestions

Are you retarded? When the Bears put Jordan Howard up for trade why do you think the best they could get for him was a 6th rounder? He sucks. His ypc droppdd fro. 5.2 as a rookie to 4.1 and 3.7 over the past two years.

Why do you think the Eagles drafting a RB was such a high priority? And the drafted a good one in Miles Sanders

Attached: 20190502_095613.png (1080x1031, 666K)

Texans do McMansions. Californians pay a million dollars for a 3 bed 2 bath house in Daily City. Learn your housing markets bro.

>Why do you think the Eagles drafting a RB was such a high priority?
It wasn't. They didn't draft for need at any pick, they followed their board.

Howard's decline was mostly due to a change in how the offense was run and how they used him. He doesn't fit the new offensive scheme there. Also, their O-line declined too.

Howie has like 5 good RBs signed at any given time. Howard still almost hit 1k last year. I think his ypc bounces back up in a better offense. Pederson seems to get juice out of RBs better than most coaches.

10-6 can probably win the nfce so the eagles making the playoffs isn't hard

RB was a huge need and they filled that need with Sanders

You have it backwards. Bears OL got better and their scheme even more RB friendly
>>In head coach Matt Nagy's offense, Montgomery should see a lot of "light" boxes, as the Bears use a lot of three- and four-wide receiver sets. Most of the time, he will be running against five- and six-man boxes and could put up monster numbers as a rookie.

Again why do you think that the NFL only valued Howard as a 6th round value? He sucks

uh there's no election in 2022 sweaty

his highlights looked slow as fuck at the draft

>He think Tua is a 1st round QB
>He wants HIS OWN TEAM to draft Tua

The guy has a below average arm with shitty decision making. Screams bust. At least with a big arm you can mask some bad decisions by firing that shit in there.

Attached: FB_IMG_1556539037025.jpg (806x1178, 84K)

Is Marshawn retarded to put that offer out there realistically? You know hed be coming back at a bargain and risk injury

all he does is win
nothing else matters

>their scheme even more RB friendly
That's not a thing. What's friendly to one RB isn't friendly to another. One may PREFER tight sets that draws the defense into the box paired with outside zone run plays because it makes it easier to follow blocks and make one cut to daylight (Jordan Howard) another may PREFER open sets and spread out boxes so he can get in enough space to make someone miss and go off that because he's too small to break through contact on one cut plays (Tarik Cohen) neither is right or wrong or better just different.

Yeah like that AJ McCarron kid. Great success.

Jordan Howard is a trash ass nigg

People like you are the scum of the NFL.

Just looked him up you're right and the holes were all big enough for a truck
Bet you anything Howard has more yards than either the bears or eagles rookies.

RB wasn't a huge need, but it might be in the future. Howard is on a contract year. Smallwood is garbage. The Eagles are trying to keep their offense deep, rather than patching up the defense that they seem to think they can fix from within.

Runs all over Mich State breaking tackles showing off both electric lateral and vertical movement. And Mich State had the #1 rush D in the nation last year with only 77.92 ypg allowed (#2 was 95.08) and the #2 rush D with 2.58 ypc allowed (#1 was Clemson with 2.51....#3 was 2.70)

Attached: D5MuaS-WwAEmgyJ.jpg (1024x717, 86K)

Mullens really struggled on deep balls. I'm glad we have both tho desu. Our WRs were constantly hurt or trash last year too so that didn't help anyone cept maybe Kittle's stat line.

pass the bong

Attached: cj-beathard.jpg (300x300, 29K)

Deep balls are overrated. Mullens has better descision making skills. I'd feel more comfortable with him starting.

That's a spicy hot take and one that I do not share. After that break out first start Mullens threw INTs just like every other mortal. He's not a bad player but I definitely can't say he's appreciably better than Jimmy and Jimmy has really good mechanics and a tight quick release.

Despite not showing elite size of strength at the Combine, here is Miles Sanders yards after contact last season at Penn State!

Pederson always runs by committee you utter retard. His ceiling has a hard cap in this scheme.

When I said "top RB" I didn't mean starting. I meant i don't think he's going to be the best in the league.
But also, he's absolutely going to share carries. Picture Howard playing the Blount role from a couple years ago, with Sanders/Clement taking the rest, and maybe Adams/Smallwood getting some here and there. They will have 5 RBs they feel comfortable giving touches to, and they are going to use them all to some extent.

Why is there one player like this every year that brings out the autism. It was Lameme last year, now Miles Sanders

It's just this one dude, don't paint this on the rest of us eagles fans please

Speaking of RBs, how come no one is mentioning the Raiders new RB, Josh Jacobs?

If the giants took Haskins, or if Jones ends up better than him, this would/will go down as one of the best drafts in recent memory

Even if Jones ends up good, it was still a reach. They could have drafted him in a later round. The pats saw potential in Brady but didn't waste a first on him.

Bama backs are typically system babbies

>Eagles D-Line is getting old and expensive
Is it though?

Sorry man but the browns are legit now. Nothing can stop the big brown rolling death machine.

Yes. Brandon will have a 13 million dollar cap in 2020 at 32 and Fletcher Cox signed a 100 million dollar deal in 2016. Our best D-Linemen are nearer to 30 than 25 or already over 30. They didn't necessarily need to be replaced this draft, but they have to be aware that these guys are aging. We had more immediate needs this season for sure, it's just when those guys leave or retire I think it'll be tough to be find players that good again.

Cowboys and Rams are in the same boat

2016 Draft Top 3 offensive picks were
#1 Goff, Rams
#2 Wentz, Eagles
#4 Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys

All 3 are entering Year 4, the last year on their rookie contract

the Rams and Eagles picked up the 5th year option (2020 season) for Goff and Wentz, meaning their cost will surge to $22,783,000 for 2020, unless their new long-term contacts are agreed to before then

Mahomes, Mitchell Trubisky and Deshaun Watson are one year behind them as tbey were all taken Top 12 in the 2017 Draft

Do people really believe this? Is theoretical potential all it takes to be a "superstar"? Wentz is glass, cracked glass at that. What does it take for him to lose his free pass?
>Dak
Isn't great, but he's good enough. He can play a full season and reach the playoffs.

Wentz is barely the best QB in his own division, much less the entire league. He's wasting away his best years on the bench.

Zeke's a bust, who cares

Eagles picked up Wentz's 5th year option, i don't think he signs first. Cowboys will sign first probably.

>theoretical potential
He's put up great stats the last couple years, stop memeing

God you're dumb. Never post again.

Wentz is Carr 2.0

What?
You mean it'll go Dak/goof/wentz? I think the other user posted that goof and wentz BOTH got extended so that means they'll BOTH be up at the same time after Dak and I really don't see why Goof's agent would let his client sign before Wentz. They'll be angling to make Goof the highest paid starter barring a catastrophic set back this year.

Well, i'm not sure but Eagles might wait a bit to see Wentz's health situation. Only first rounders get 5th year option right? If it's, Dak will surely sign first.

As for Luck, he has 3 years left on his contact
2019 - $27,525,000 cap hit
2020 - $28,400,000 cap hit
2021 - $21,000,000 cap hit

They signed him in June 2016 to thrn-record six-year, $140 million deal. At the time, the $23.3 million average annual salary was the highest in NFL history.

Since June of 2016, when Andrew Luck got his contract extension from the Colts, eight different QBs have been able to call themselves the highest-paid player in the league.
>Derek Carr bumped Luck to No. 2 a year later, in 2017.
>Then Matthew Stafford was the man. >Then Jimmy Garoppolo.
>Then Kirk Cousins.
>Then Matt Ryan.
>Then Aaron Rodgers.
>Now Wilson.

Here are some of the QBs who are next in line to receive contract extensions.
>Jameis Winston (is already on his 5th year option this year, then his contract is up)
>Carson Wentz and Jared Goff
>Mahomes, Trubisky and Deshaun Watson
>>Dak Prescott (this is the last year of his contact, no 5th year option availablel
>Eli Manning (this is the last year of his contract, Daniel Jones drafted)
>Cam Newton (this year and next year left on his contract, Will Grier has been drafted)
>Philip Rivers (this year and next year left on his contract)

Way to deflect from the main point you literal autist. If Wentz gets injured again the Iggles won't sniff the playoffs. Only reason they made it last year was because the Skins starters were all on IR and the Viqueens blew it like usual

>brings up Wentz out of nowhere
Obsessed. We're talking about the secondary, keep up.

Demaryius Thomas is still in the league? He's vastly overrated

I was referring to the team in general faggot. Deflecting from this point will get you nowhere. Your team isn't going to sniff the owl

Reminder that the Los Angeles Rams (established 2016) and the New Orleans Saints (established 1967) have the most bitter rivalry in the entire NFL and that Shitcago vs Green Gay, Chokeland vs Kansass Shitty, or any other plastic division """rivaly""" doesn’t even come close.
Although the saint and rams might as well be divisional opponents, as in the current state of the NFC they will always play each other twice a year

You asked why eagles fans were posting stats about the secondary. The answer is because it was relevant the the conversation at hand. You're obsessed and pathetic.

Didnt amari catch 3 on them in their last game?

That couldn't be a more German fit

I remember one of them being a meme freak deflection. I can't remember what the others were though.

>fans
It's been the exact same autist spamming these pointless pictures when no one asked faggot. Half the thread is your posts

OBSESSED!

Attached: phins.png (467x404, 329K)

You saw a deflection and a receiver keep concentration and make a smart catch. You saw 2 other good touchdowns and over 200 yards while he dabbed on their entire secondary with fucking DAK lolol

Patriots lost to the Iggles in part because Edelman was on IR.

Congrats to him for getting some yards and a lucky touchdown against 6th string practice squadders. Real impressive.

Ok, that's adorable. Remember, cats are for Yea Forums.

Man, I can't imagine being a cowcuck now. It must suck seeing your most hated division rival be consistently good and even win an owl, while your team has been completely irrelevant for over 20 years. Just sad.

Great rebuttal. That doesn't change the fact that you've been dumping pointless Eagle infographics all day.

I only get jerseys of retired greats. Fuck getting new players jerseys most of them are fucking chumps anyways and will only be on the team a few years.

The roach is insane.

This is a shit take, and I didn't even get past the second line.

I don't even know which ones you're talking about. I'm not the Miles Sanders autist, if that's what you're thinking. I just posted the ones about their secondary because some desperate cowshit fan made a baseless claim.

>Patriots have signed defensive lineman Shilique Calhoun.
Raiders fans, tell me what you think about this player?

Andy Isabella is going to blow them all out. Who else is Kyler even going to throw to?

romo is twice the QB luck has ever been and will be
then again dallas gave him plenty to work with and he just couldnt put it together. go figure.

Just would have had more playoff chokes. He's like Bernie Cosar

Dallas never had elite coaching. Parcells was a meme.

>Raiders cut Lee Smith
damn, he was a good blocker but not the best receiver, he'll be snatched up quick

that was one thing that Gruden was furious with about Cook. If Cook was on the field it was either a free rushing/stuffing lane or obvious pass look. Lee was just the opposite it was an obvious blocking look. Made the opposing defenses job way too easy sometimes. High hopes for Moreau and what he brings kind of a poor mans Hockenson

Romo is great! He wears the Star and is white! It must be!

Coaching.

I wouldn't say stacked, OL/WR/LB could all be improved

Ninkovich.

How strong is N’Keal Harry? His 27 reps on the bench tied with DK Metcalf for first at WR at the Combine. Those 27 reps were more than any TE at the Combine as well

Former scout and Personnel Director Michael Lombardi: "If you take (Metcalf) before N'Keal Harry, you are an idiot."

Lombardi nicknamed Metcalf "3-route Metcalf" and compared him to D.J. Chark and Darrius Heyward-Bey. His top two WRs are N'Keal Harry and Kelvin Harmon.(drafted by Redskins)

If I were a head coach that would be the last time he returned kickoffs. You can't run backwards to the 2y surrounded by defenders and expect it to work.

You are going to get Lawrence friend

The amount of blind faith people put in Wentz’s health is fucking absurd. How did a city that’s always been so no nonsense about sports trick themselves into thinking everything is fine? Mind boggling desu. If he goes down again, he’s RG3 tier.

We aren't so different after all...

I doubt that. maybe one of their backup guards but at this point the vikings have spent enough on interior o line guys and no way bills are giving up a LT or RT or Safety.

truthfully I dont want to lose rudolph. but if they are trying to trade him I want him to go to the bills.
bills have the money. they need to give allen a safety blanket.
Im glad they drafted some tight ends but rudolph is a proven commodity.
I could see shaq lawson in a trade since he's a bust there but then what would the vikings do with him? cant play him at DE. they like to develop talent but it has to make sense.
bills are stacked at DT. that would make sense.

I have to speak in a language that you fuckers can understand because it's impossible for you single minded retards to grasp the bigger picture.

theyre goodells comedy routine. when they scored 3 tds in the last 4 min against the eagles for the comeback last season it was the most hilarious thing

D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel are going to become the new Jimmy Smith and Keenan McCardell

>waaah but we didn't play Samuel enoughhhhh

I find it highly irritating that fans expected the Panthers to just put Samuel out on the field and give him a huge workload weeks after heart surgery. Like risking cardiac arrest is a great idea.

Can confirm. I only watch for spaghettiball

maybe next year lad, teams regress following a humiliating playoff loss and no roster improvements. should have opened the bank for free agents like the rams last year

This loss wasn't humiliating they were just out coached when you watch the game film. The fact is that the roster is so good that there were no free agents that could make a real difference except Leveon or Hunt and unlike last season everyone on the roster is hungry for a championship going into the season.

Chuck Pagano is the worst coach in the history of the league. He is your new defensive coordinator. You win 7 games max

LMAO BASED

Well like you said he's not the head coach, he's the defensive coordinator. I'm interested in his schemes defensively but it's irrelevant because the roster is so talented defensively that anyone can make it top 10 so I'm not worried about that. The offense would've been the wise thing to nitpick at if you wanted to make a legitimate point.

Honest question, is luck retarded? Whys that nigga so ugly?

it's a big if, but IF the Packers find a decent QB after Rodgers, doesn't even need to be a HOF caliber like the last, they might have something going down there.
New smart coach, TONS of talent on a very young defense, talented young RB, alot of potential with young WR's.
Alot of pieces there I think people are sleeping on

>Stop embarrassing your people
Im Cuban decent, so white people are definitely not my people. My people are poor communist trying to stay afloat in the modern era. Doesn't help dumb white liberals like you with white guilt idolize the shit my family got away from.

Liar. Cubans consider themselves White. Except Negritos.

I aint white either buddy and this whole rant started by me commenting on making fun of the white people you are currently labeling me as. If you really are Cuban that would explain your lack of reading comprehension and willingness to enter battles you have no business being in.

>A trade call between Belichick and Spielman breaks down and turns into an hour long discussion on strategies for maximizing value by trading down

Actually Cubans see themselves as superior Latinos which is why they voted for Trump because they hate lower class Latinos like Mexicans.

Wait really?

>If you really are Cuban that would explain your lack of reading comprehension and willingness to enter battles you have no business being in.
So you now say Cubans are bad? Just proves SJWs are closet racists trying to redeem themselves by thinking they did *good* things for less fortunate races.

I voted for Hillary, and Cubans are the worst people ever. Look at Marco Rubio. Horrid.

> voted for Hillary
Cant get any more söy than that

Nobody wants a response from you because you don’t know anything about football

They use WRs but they have probably one of the most ground intensive playbooks

I agree wholeheartedly

Say faggot to one of your fellow peers in real life, see what happens

You don’t see how racist the article is? It’s designed to piss whitey off and it works.
I’m Hispanic, I’ve been targeted by (and targeted) whites and blacks, but you both are being played like a fiddle against each other by corporate news and identity politics and you’re both so eager to comply

Do your friends care about the word faggot? I feel like one of my idiot buddies says it at least 2 or 3 times a week still. I still say it honestly. As long as you're not at work I can pretty much guarantee nobody is gonna do shit about that. I dont even like bradys 6th knee, in fact hes a gigantic faggot, but what you said makes you equally gay

CARSON WENTZ LOL MORE LIKE LACKING SENSE LMAO

What is the reputation of your team's head coach (Past or present) in your city?

Jeff Fisher is like a cool uncle in Nashville. Everyone likes him and there are stories about how he used to pick up people's tabs unannounced at Eddie George's old restaurant.

I also heard from my boss recently that Ken Wisenhunt was a Grade A douchebag who treated the people around him like shit.

>unlike last season everyone on the roster is hungry for a championship going into the season
if you think this will make any difference, you don't really understand the nfl. every damn team is hungry
reality is the bears have some unproven depth and could use upgrades in edge rusher 2, wr 2, OT, and strong safety. it wasnt a great FA class, but if you think there was nobody availible to help, then I dont even know where to start

>it aint crazy to think they'll improve after a disappointing loss
the vast majority of playoff teams regress, ESPECIALLY with overperforming defenses and making zero roster inprovements. Its much harder to stay on top then get there
the whole young growing team is a total meme, every team is young and growing. no major needs means nothing about average talent and depth either. the vikings demonstrated how a few injuries and tougher schedule can completely derail the season of the number 1 defense.

>The Patriots will regress
THE TIME IS NOW JETSBROS

>the roster is so talented defensively that anyone can make it top 10
just stop, youre totally underrating scheme and playcalling

Andy Reid was a great regular season coach but choked in the playoffs all the time. He's more known as a fat shit than his coaching acumen, which is a shame, because he was a really good coach for us, he just couldn't get it done
I wish him well in KC, but it looks like the same exact thing is happening
**times yours**

rodgers has like 4 years left at least. they already have strong pieces on both offense and defense. if the new coach is an upgrade (low bar) they could compete this year

>implying me and bitchknees are the same person
Yikes and cringepilled
>he didn't have me filtered already
Holy fucking kek, you would think folesbenis would have already had me filtered. Especially since I was posting all last season.

I can't wait for the blowback to come and offensebabbys get BTFO.

All of the defense-oriented teams are going to start adopting dynamic/multiple schemes to combat the Air Raid and the like. I know the Panthers' switch has gotten the most publicity but I want to say the Bears were really the ones who got ahead of the curve.

The fact that Pete Carroll, John Harbaugh, and Ron Rivera all faced questions about whether or not they'd keep their job last year despite the fact that if any of them got fired they'd have another job before they even cleaned out their desk just proves how we live in clown world.

Not much, because he will be a replacement level rotational guy

Smart not to splurge. Even he knows he’s just a meme

it started in the AFCCG and the Owl thanks to based Bill

Belichick does not get enough credit for being probably the single greatest defensive mind ever.

He shut down the K-Gun Offense in Super Bowl XXV and nearly 30 years later he shut down the Air Raid in Super Bowl LIII. I don't know if the Patriots play the Cardinals this year but he's going to wipe his ass with Kliff Kingsbury if they ever play each other.

Based Bill
A God among us

>12 or something picks next year after killing this draft
literally who can stop this man
Unfortunately not, but we can watch his defence destroy Darnold, Allen, and Rosen twice a year now

But it feels better watching him get ban and switch to his ban evading trip so he can cry like the bitch Brady is

>BUF: Bills decline 2016 bust Lawson's 2020 option

Bust is pretty harsh. He's an above average player, just not the guy they hoped. Hasn't really matured. Going to a new team might finally screw his fucking head on.

>Belichick does not get enough credit for being probably the single greatest defensive mind ever.

Have you been living on the fucking moon? He's easily considered the greatest coach ever, period, let alone defensive. Even by fans of teams he perennially assblasts.

Lawson has been a disappointment. I had my heart set on him going to the Giants back then.

The 2016 Draft is full of disappointments among defensive linemen. Nkemdiche turned out to be a flop on the Cardinals and Vernon Butler is a total brick on the Panthers.

Imagine being this pathetic

>C.J. Spiller

>Shaq Lawson

Actually the Bills just need to stop drafting players from Clemson. That was Buddy Nix for you I guess.

When was the last time Clay Matthews was relevant? The last thing I remember him doing was getting completely owned by Cam Newton when he tried calling out a play at the LoS

he hasn't done shit for years, I'm honestly shocked the rams spent any money on him.

Roughing the passer calls

>The fact that Pete Carroll, John Harbaugh, and Ron Rivera all faced questions about whether or not they'd keep their job last year despite the fact that if any of them got fired they'd have another job before they even cleaned out their desk just proves how we live in clown world.
It's almost as if teams fire coaches that don't meet expectations

He's in a lot of commercials.

lel but he changed his pic to a shooped rams jersey

Based Jimmy would have a better pizza than that.

They love slapping white guy players all over anything so the flyover states can feel all safe and snuggly. Dude was overrated his entire career.

Firing a coach with a track record of success and who has built a strong locker room/is loved by his players is literally fucking retarded though.

The Giants did it with Coughlin and look what happened to them.

Bears actually do the opposite. Fangio defenses just get interior LBs and box safeties who can man cover like dawgs then just man you up in 3-4 base packages with a variety of cover 2 shell and cover 1 robber, hole, or spy. The Broncos will probably run like this next year.

The Giants becoming this is really unreal. I live in the city and the media and fans are going absolutely ballistic.

Meanwhile Jets fans are acting like their about to go 15-1.

It's overblown because it's New York, but the Giants' locker room culture becoming a disaster is really something else. Odell had to go because he was the single biggest problem there and players were clearly being influenced to pick sides between him and Eli.

And Jets fans really do need to shut the fuck up. Everyone acts like Darnold's a Hall of Famer and beats the shit out of Saquon when Darnold's a >USC quarterback who has never nutted up and won anything that has really mattered

I think it's crazy how stubborn they are being about supporting Eli, they even blew their fucking draft pick and "future of the franchise" on someone who would be acceptable to him. I understand he got those rings and what he means to fans, but outside of 2011, he was never really even a top 5 QB. Why draft someone who's ceiling is maybe possibly that?

I'd have kept OBJ, cut Eli when they could have, get a bridge QB like Fitzpatrick, or make the Rosen trade. Even getting Nick Foles could have worked he basically is Eli.

Jets fans are gonna be confused when they see Bell can't actually just juke 11 guys and run for TDs. The last year he played you couldn't watch his highlights without an analyst praising his "patience" and how he "waits for blocks" well what happens when those blocks don't fucking come? The Jets didn't do nearly enough to fix their O-Line. The fans are ignoring the fact that they are starting out with a new coach, who they wouldn't have hesitated to tell you sucks last year. Darnold hasn't stepped up to a leadership role AT ALL yet and doesn't seem comfortable out there.

Cant wait till that linebabby Bell as well as >Darnold get completely exposed next season and >Jests fans go back into the dungeon where they belong

>lol

lol

is he the dumbest player drafted?

Oh boy. Jets got a real winner.

He scored an 11 on his wonderlic. Less than 10 is considered illiterate.

>"bless you, thank you"
He might actually be retarded

He had 7.5 sacks the year before last and Rams aren't paying anything for him. Just 3.5M cap hit. Its like Chris Long with Eagles last year and Julius Peppers with Panthers last year.

7.5 plus the ones deducted for the bullshit calls earlier in the season

He had 83.5 sacks, only 3 players that have been in the league for a shorter amount of time than him have more:
Ryan Kerrigan 84.5
JJ Watt 92.0
Von Miller 98.0

WR - Hollywood (Ravens)

EDGE - Bosa (49ers), Allen (Jags) or Sweat (Skins)
DI - Quinnen (Jets) or Oliver (Bills)

Best Bets On NFL ROY

RB Miles Sanders
>This might be the safe pick of the 2019 class. The Eagles probably won’t hesitate to give him touches considering the second-round price tag they paid for him. Sanders should at least be in contention for the award as a threat for 1,000 yards and double-digit scores behind one of the league’s top offensive lines. Putting down $100 now could be a huge bargain.

RB David Montgomery
>The Bears basically had a feature back fall into their laps at #73 overall. Similar to Josh Jacobs, he will benefit from lighter boxes because Chicago has plenty of weapons on the perimeter.

WR N’Keal Harry
>New England targeted Harry at the end of the 1st round because he can make plays underneath just as easily as he can win in one-on-one coverage downfield, and it will be exciting to see him utilized in a significant role.

QB Kyler Murray
>I don’t think people are quite ready for how much the Cards will be throwing this fall. The team already had Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk on the roster, so the additions of Andy Isabella and Hakeem Butler is almost overkill for an offense that will probably have those receivers and RB David Johnson as the base personnel. It should be noted that the Kingsbury-Murray pairing has the downside of a train wreck

QB Dwayne Haskins
>I would be a little hesitant to put money down because a) he isn’t assured of the starting job, and b) the Redskins will have a run-first offense led by Adrian Peterson, Derrius Guice, and Bryce Love

RB Josh Jacobs
>The main concern here is that we don’t know how Jacobs—who had just 3 games with 15+ carries for the Crimson Tide—will handle a heavy workload.

WR Mecole Hardman
>Hardman will get plenty of opportunities to put up big-time numbers in KC

WR A.J. Brown
>it wouldn’t be surprising to see him emerge as Mariota’s top target as a rookie. The thing holding Brown back is that the Titans are a run-first offense, but I like to bet on talent winning out.

Nick Bosa
>the safest option to put money on, as he’s an immediate threat for double-digit sacks in a competitive NFC West

Josh Allen
>Had the Giants pulled the trigger on Allen with the No. 6 pick like many expected, he would probably be best bet on the board. In Jacksonville, though, he gets a slight knock simply because the defense is loaded, and he might be asked to play linebacker on early downs, which would limit the sack potential. That said, Allen is a special talent that should thrive in any role the team has in mind for him.

Devin Bush
>Pittsburgh was a perfect landing spot for him, so he will hopefully live up to his draft status as an explosive, do-it-all cog in the middle of the Steelers defense. Bush has the ability to record 100+ tackles and at least five sacks for a Pittsburgh team that I think will get retake the AFC North crown.

Quinnen Williams
>New York did well to add Jachai Polite in the third round as a slippery edge defender that can take some pressure off Quinnen and Leonard Williams up the middle.

>Marquise Brown
>OROTY
lmao

Wouldnt place money on any of these

>we
None of us were alive back then, faggot. Don't lump us into your white guilt party. I don't feel any remorse for actions done by people hundreds of years ago.

ROY

RB
>David Montgomery (Bears), Miles Sanders (Eagles) or Josh Jacobs (Raiders), all are obvious

TE
>Josh Oliver, Jace Sternberger and Kahale Warring are my three favorite tight ends. They offer great receiving talent, in outstanding landing spots, at a better price than Noah Fant and T.J. Hockenson.

WR
>What we saw Metcalf do in college when healthy is what we’ll get from him in the pros. He pairs up well with Russell Wilson‘s beautiful deep ball ability and will be the Z-receiver from day one in this offense.
>Mecole Hardman‘s current value is the result of Tyreek Hill‘s probable descent out of the NFL. Nevertheless, it helps that they hold very comparable skill-sets.
>Not doubting of A.J. Brown’s talent, but his landing spot does come with risk. Marcus Mariota at quarterback tempers A.J. Brown‘s stock a little bit. But I do believe that paired up with Corey Davis, this is the most talented receiving corp Mariota has had in his career. Add Humphries in the slot and Tajae Sharpe‘s threat over the top and he should see more evenly spread defenses.
>I keep looking over the Arizona Cardinals potential depth chart at receiver, and keep coming back to the same reflection: Hakeem Butler might just be the only true X-receiver on that roster. Fitz and Kirk are prototype slot receivers. Isabella struggles off press coverage and can be used as a threat over the top, probably taking over Z duties. Butler is a polished prospect that could carve out a role in that corp based on his unique skill-set.
>I wasn’t familiar with Diontae Johnson when I saw him get drafted by the Steelers on day two. After a breakdown from a fellow scout and a quick tape session, he looks like a shifty, well-crafted route runner, who’s very dynamic after the catch and may win out the slot job in Pittsburgh.

Jets fans act like that every year lol

>safe money
>urban running quarterback

>when you remember that your team drafted a manlet as your QB

When can I wake up from this nightmare lads?

Attached: 1523931358660.jpg (750x698, 49K)

I'm going to laugh if in the next 5 years if Darnold busts after all the hype while Jones, out of nowhere balls out.

Even better if both the Giants and Bills finally start being competitive while the Jets collapse like a jenga set.

when you draft a meme QB first overall next year
then back to your nightmare

Last year was great, they were so excited about blowing out the Lions who looked like trash all pre season. Even Fireman Ed showed up in Detroit. After that game they thought they were going to have a good year, only to lose to the Dolphins, Jags and the Browns over the next 3 weeks. I think that was the game that broke the 3 season losing streak too.

manlet qbs sure do suck

Who's the Darius Leonard of this class?

Most asians know what country they came from and a lot of first and 2nd gen immigrant children know their native language, same goes for Hispanics since most are from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba or central/north South America.
Blacks just pretty much know American post emancipation family history if that

In terms of players who outplayed their draft position? Winovich

Just draft tall like the broncos
You'll have guaranteed success then:^)

>Blacks just pretty much know American post emancipation family history if that

It's really all most of us have. Even if your family were freedmen in the north, the record keeping for most poor blacks was terrible so it's not as easy to trace our lineage as it is for a lot of white families.

then take a dna test if it bothers you so much and go talk about it on /pol/ christ this is a football thread

Not him, but yea i got caught up in that even though i get annoyed by /pol/posting here..
What we really need to discuss is why the cowboys aren't adding draft depth to the o line in a run heavy offense with a qb who still hasn't developed a good sense of pre snap protection adjustment

Also,i miss crazy ray ;_;

It doesn't bother me I was just pointing it out and joining the discussion. This thread is almost dome anyway

neat

I hate the eagles and everything associated with Philadelphia

>Yea Forums has a football team?

that's the point. they aren't removed from their ancestry yet still see their ethnicity as far more important than whites do. if the theory of black lineage being erased solely accounting for the high importance they place on their own race, then asians and hispanics should be virtually identical to whites

weird it's almost like groups other than whites can be insular toward their own ethnicity or something. some might even call it racism

murray is a o-line baby. any quarterback who had the time in the pocket that he had in college would be successful.

Passing from a clean pocket is more predictive than Passing when pressured

yes just like baker mayfield was an o-line baby

I am sure arizona's 32nd ranked o-line will help him produce those same results.

You’re right, nobody knows who Ryan Kerrigan is

even the worst offensive lines produce clean pockets for over 50% of dropbacks.

Alright lads, fill it out. Which teams are lawful and chaotic? Which teams are good and evil?

Attached: Character_Alignment_Chart_by_ChopSilverBlood.jpg (900x701, 49K)

Please redpill me on Blake Bortles. Why the fuck is he so bad statistically?

the percentage of dropbacks is irrelevant, its the time in the pocket each dropback. 100% of pockets are clean until they arent

He's Big Ben, but without the lucidity that comes through sexual assault.

What're you smoking they ALWAYS have a standout first year they just can't keep up when the league figures out their tendencies.

Baker Mayfield was a known alpha at Oklahoma and took an all-time great Rose Bowl down to the wire. Murray just rode Mayfield's coattails in the same system and shit his pants in the one game he played that mattered against Alabama.

Someone has a very very sore anus
