Alright, according to /nfl/, the major problem with the New York Giants resides in the General Manager Gettleman or the line (while not specified, implied to be the offensive line). Reminder that the following conclusions are not accurate from this information:
>A lack of votes for one option implies that it is not a problem, significant or otherwise >The voting does not imply an order of what is most to least problematic, only the percentage of what is believed to be most problematic alone
Correction: >The voting DOES imply an order of what is most to least problematic, only the percentage of what is believed to be most problematic alone This statement is not a valid conclusion.

This fucking guy. Im sure beating up on the like of Cleo Lemon, JP Losman, Kellen Clemons, John Beck and Geno Smith really gave the Patriots a run for their money
None of them would stand a chance of defeating me. You might as well ask what would I do if the Sun rose in the west
Brayden Roberts
Your dad was saying the same thing in 1972.
John Howard
If they stay healthy they could have a top 5 defense and top 10 offense even if Haskins doesn't start. The health of their defense and run game will determine their season.
honestly, this was one of my favorite plays from the year
this shows how hard and how fast the Rams can collapse
James Morgan
Did the Raiders have the most underrated draft so far?
>top 4-3 DE available 10+ sack starter, not that far off from Bosa. Will be the leader of the defense and has actual intelligence and character unlike the other available edge rushers >best workhorse RB in the draft, will be a foundation of the offense. >best safety in the draft, run stopping hard hitting box safety that will be a perennial starter >Starting corner with freak athletic talent >Huge steals in the 4th round >Edleman tier white slot receiver >Every player picked is a high character leader that will handle the move to Vegas well
All leaders on winning teams and will be immediate impact starters, 4 guaranteed starters! Can't get better than that. The Raiders defense might be the most improved unit in the league next year
Nah man should be an expansion team. London + Toronto, and then later St.Louis + Portland. 36 is a perfect number, plus Jasgs are the perfect meme team I don't want them gone.

still, I don't know if the NFL will do an expansion anytime soon, especially not in Canada. The one thing you dont try to do in the football industry is cut into someone else's market. The NFL has a monopoly on America and the CFL has Canada. I bet the nfl is scared it will fail

@AdamSchefter 3m3 minutes ago More Sebastian Janikowski told ESPN that, after 19 seasons, he is retiring from NFL at the age of 41: “It was a good run. I still think of the Super Bowl - it still hurts.” He plans to turn into a cab driver, taking his 3 girls to school. Seabass made more $ than any K in NFL history.

I didnt realize the Ravens lost Humphries, Smith, Judon, Williams or Pierce... Weddle was cut and replaced by Earl Thomas. Obvious improvement. Suggs is 37 years old and is only good for the first 8 games, he had one (1) sack after that. Zadarius Smith was decent but they had no intention of keeping him as they had replacements already on the roster and CJ Mosley was the second best ILB on the team and is not worth what the Jets paid him. Also the Ravens have show in the past countless times they can replace ILB's every year and not miss a beat.

>Does anyone else find "The New York Football Giants" extremely cringey? Nah. I'm a gnatfag and I personally like it because it is something based on history. It's kind of like how more often than not amerifats use "4th of July" for Independence Day rather than saying "July 4th", as the United States if I recall correctly were the ones who started the change from DD/MM/YYYY format to MM/DD/YYYY format because of speaking convenience. The New York Football Giants as a name has history.
As a side note, I like the filthadelphia poster who makes the Philadelphia Basketball 76'ers posts.
Um no honey, Old Bay is has been making great in depth posts and analysis on the NFL for years upon years, you'll never have the same respect as his name carries

If you really won, then just stop replying instead of saying some bullshit like "I have already won".
This is Yea Forums. Posts speak for themselves. You don't need to respect or defend any name or say that you won. If you have an opinion, post it. If you disagree with something, respond. But please can we stop with this "I won" and "respect as his name carries" shit please.

Dude are you having a stroke or something? He never compared the two of them. He just said that they fill a particular niche in a Wide Receiving core.
Josiah Reyes
Original post has the Pats going 16-0. Guy makes the point that this is feasible because they have a deep threat, and compares it to 2007. One last time, if you think N'Keal Harry will have a similar impact that Moss did in 2007, please kill yourself.
Alexander Rogers
I dmjust saw on the news Tyreek Hill shot some cornerback, what a douche.
Parker Hill
N'Keal Harry and Randy Moss both fill the Deep Threat WR niche. What comparison is being made with this statement?
Gabriel Wright
Really don't get why all the Giants fans are flipping a shit over the draft. The Yankees are winning the World Series. At least that will counter a bad season. Plus we're gonna beat the Patsies at Fagsboro anyway
Hudson Perez
Saying "Pretty good" in response to a prediction of 16-0 and mentioning 2007 isn't exactly secret code m8. I think you're not being obtuse on purpose, but it's still sad.

Their schedule is baby easy. Only 5 hard games all year and 3 are at home. If they improve by 1% from last season they will go undefeated. However that’s not gonna happen and they will most likely get worse but so will the rest of their opponents.

>Goals Entering the 2019 NFL Draft: Outside of Julian Edelman, the Patriots don't have any offensive play-makers in the wake of Rob Gronkowski's retirement. Two will need to be acquired in the 2019 NFL Draft to help Tom Brady. And speaking of Brady, the Patriots should find his successor, given that he turns 42 in August. As for the defense, New England will have to find a replacement for the departed Trey Flowers.
>2019 NFL Draft Accomplishments: The Patriots didn't end up using two picks on downfield play-makers for Tom Brady, and they shockingly didn't spend a single selection on a tight end. However, their first-round choice was used on a receiver, N'Keal Harry. The talented Arizona State product should replace the suspended Josh Gordon as Brady's top downfield threat. Another weapon should have been added, but perhaps the Patriots have their eye on a tight end who could hit free agency following this weekend, like the Vikings' Kyle Rudolph, who is being replaced by Irv Smith Jr.
>Including the Harry pick, three of New England's first four choices were graded as an A+ or an "A." This includes high-effort edge rusher Chase Winovich, who out-produced Rashan Gary at Michigan, as well as running back Damien Harris, who could have been taken off the board an entire round prior to No. 87. The lone criticism I have of the Patriots' first two days was the pick used on cornerback Joejuan Williams. That wasn't a horrible decision by any means, but it was a bit of a reach.
>It was hardly a surprise that the Patriots put together a great draft class. Aside from wasting a pick on a punter, all of their moves were logical, and they deserve an overall grade to reflect that. Man, does it feel good to be a Patriots fan right now, Bill has done it again.
Except even so there are much better QBs in the 2020 draft. So worrying so much about his successor when you claim that Eli is gonna be playing for 2-3 more years is absolute garbage.
>Goals Entering the 2019 NFL Draft: Jerry Jones recently spoke about finding a capable backup behind Ezekiel Elliott. That's a need, but Dallas has larger voids on its roster, particularly in the secondary. The defensive line also must be addressed, thanks to various off-the-field problems players in that area have dealt with recently.
>2019 NFL Draft Accomplishments: It was hardly a surprise that the Cowboys selected defensive tackle Trysten Hill, as the two had been linked throughout the pre-draft process. However, Hill was a bit of a reach, and Dallas could have chosen a better prospect, namely another one it had been interested in, safety Juan Thornhill.
>As a result of passing on Thornhill, the Cowboys didn't get to address their secondary until the fifth round, which was a mistake. The fourth-rounder, used on a kick returner, should have been utilized on a defensive back. That said, Dallas made some nice selections as well. Interior lineman Connor McGovern will be a much-needed upgrade on the blocking unit, while cornerback Michael Jackson and running back Mike Weber offered tremendous value on Day 3.
The Cowboys came away with a middling result in the 2019 NFL Draft. While they made some decent choices, they also were guilty of reaching on several occasions. Outside of the McGovern pick, I'm not sure the Cowboys did much to improve their chances of winning this upcoming season.
Seems like Cowboys didn't end up having a very good draft.

The Giants had a great draft tbqh, you could say Jones is a reach but he was hand picked by the mannings so you cant let that kind of talent fall into the hands of another team, especially with the rumours of teams even trying to trade up to take him. In a couple years when hes dominating the NFC East people will look back on this draft as the start of the Giants dynasty.

So have lots of other teams. We also have no clue whether Allen will improve this year (a lot of the "improvement" we saw following his return could just have been the easier schedule), whether Kyle Williams leaving will leave a big hole in the defense, or if Daboll can make the most of the new offense.
Colton Torres
Remember when RG3 had a better rookie season than Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck?

This.
Allen's WR1 was Kelvin Benjamin who was literally so fucking lazy that he ended up getting cut because he was never open, routinely quit on routes, and when he did get something thrown to him usually dropped it.

The only thing that concerns me about Oliver is the insubordination incident at Houston. I do not like players who disobey coaches.
Friendly reminder that Cam Newton has chronic shoulder issues now because Benjamin quit on an INT return and Cam had to try and make the tackle himself

Josh Allen has a 52% completion rate and bill fans think this is a good thing
Jaxson Cooper
+500 means you bet 100 bucks to win 500
-700 means you bet 700 to win 100
Dominic Rodriguez
The ball wouldn't have been intercepted had Benjamin run a route worth a shit.
Hudson Bell
Like Cam needs help being inaccurate
Cooper Brown
+500 means if you bet $100 you profit $500 -700 means if you bet $700 you profit $100 don't quote me though
Easton Sanchez
Josh Allen does not have the talent to be a starting quarterback in the nfl
Can’t wait to see him used to promote the xfl in a few years
Leo Lopez
thanks frens I don't know much about big boy stuff like betting but you were very helpful
>losing to PIT, ATL lol >TB & ARI now your just trolling
Kevin Thomas
explain why he wont be the next rg3?
I FUCKING HATE THE SEAHAWKS
I HATE THEIR FUCKING COACH WHO CHEATED IN COLLEGE AND THEN LEFT HIS MESS FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO CLEAN UP AND SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES
I HATE HOW CARROL HAS A PROBLEM WITH HARBAUGH RUNNING UP THE SCORE IN COLLEGE (WHERE MARGIN OF VICTORY MATTERS), BUT HAS NO PROBLEM DOING IT IN THE NFL (WHERE IT DOESN'T MATTER). I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT RUNNING UP THE SCORE, BUT DON'T BE A HYPOCRITE ABOUT IT.
I HATE "NO, I TOTALLY DIDN'T PUSH THAT GUY AND I TOTALLY CAUGHT THE BALL" GOLDEN TATE. NO ONE IS ASKING YOU TO ADMIT YOU LOST THE GAME, BUT YOU COULD BE LESS OF A DISRESPECTFUL DICK BY NOT ACTING LIKE YOU ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING AWESOME.
I HATE HOW THEY'VE SPENT THE LAST ALMOST DECADE WHINING ABOUT THE SUPERBOWL AGAINST THE STEELERS THAT THEY LOST BY DOUBLE DIGITS, BUT WHEN THEY GET A WIN THEY CLEARLY DO NOT DESERVE, SUDDENLY "YOU JUST PLAY HOW THE GAME IS CALLED, CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT." PICK ONE, EITHER BE UPSET ABOUT THE SUPERBOWL AND ADMIT YOU GOT INTO THE PLAYOFFS WITH AN UNDESERVED WIN OR STOP BITCHING ABOUT THE SUPERBOWL.
I HATE THAT I HATE RUSSELL WILSON. I WANT TO LIKE THIS GUY, BUT YOUR FUCKING FANS MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE WIHT THE UNWARRANTED VICTIM COMPLEX YOU ALL HAVE ABOUT HIM AND YOUR TEAM. RG3 IS BETTER, NOT BY A LITTLE, BY A LOT. AS A RESULT, WILSON GETS LESS ATTENTION. DEAL WITH IT. YOU'RE LIKE THE MIDDLE CHILD DESPERATELY WHINING FOR ATTENTION FOR THE MODEL AIRPLANE YOU BUILT IN THE SAME WEEK YOUR OLDER BROTHER GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE. YES, YOUR THING IS COOL TOO, BUT THIS GUY OVER HERE HAD A ONCE IN A LIFETIME ROOKIE SEASON, SO SHUT THE FUCK UP.
I HATE THAT TWO OF YOUR BEST PLAYERS HAVE A FUCKING NICKNAME FOR THEMSELVES AND DO THINGS LIKE TAUNT TOM BRADY WHEN IT TURNS OUT THEY CHEATED WITH PEDS. YOU DON'T GET TO TAUNT AN ALL TIME GREAT WHEN YOU'RE CHEATING TO BE WHERE YOU ARe.
That is probably the only superbowl matchup in the league where most nfl fans end up hoping the Pats win
Juan Anderson
NFC east will be dominated by the Redskins.
Angel Garcia
Cam had 68% completions last year with a bum shoulder and with Funchess being Top 5 in dropped passes for some shit.
Jeremiah Taylor
>explain why he wont be the next rg3? rg3 was an egotistical run-first injury-prone quarterback who did not know how to slide.
dwayne haskins is a pocket passer.
Colton Baker
How come everyone is trying to replicate the Air Raid offense and not the Saints' "Run the most basic plays possible but they all go for 15+ yards because everything's blocked perfectly" ball control offense?
Evan Anderson
Yeah you get more accurate when you don't throw the ball further than 10 yards.
Jordan Parker
Based And Redskinpilled. bandwagoners do not like non-meme plays and zoomers do not even know what an I-formation is.
Lincoln Perry
Daily reminder that the Chiefs are missing the playoffs this year. >Their offense has been neutered by their speedy niggers chimping out and beating the shit out of women and children >Their defense is as shit as it was last year >They've done very little to improve with the draft this season while the Chargers have gotten noticeably better at multiple positions of weakness. >The AFC is gonna be the best it's ever been with the Steelers, Browns, Ravens, Jets, Bills, Broncos, and the entirety of the AFC South all competing with them for the two wild card spots
New schemes are a much more enticing sell over "this time we'll execute properly."
Isaiah Gutierrez
>the change from DD/MM/YYYY format to MM/DD/YYYY format because of speaking convenience i'll never understand how mutts can feel comfortable defending this. It's nigger tier reasoning
Gavin Sanchez
we do it because it annoys you and fuck you.
Gavin Reyes
You forgot
>Madden Curse
James Morgan
Colts, Texans and Chargers are all boring as fuck and have 0 chance to make it past conference championships. At least switch the Colts or Texans for the Jags or something
Joseph Gutierrez
>6'1" should be written 6'1 because people say "six foot one"
Dominic Jones
everything Americans do is done specifically because other people find it annoying.
Landon Carter
Literally who can stop him
Anthony Cook
that's actually the most reasonable justification you could give so i'll make peace with it
Brandon Perry
himself.
Parker Allen
he was shit when you gave him to us
Jeremiah Diaz
>Eagles reach for a small school QB >Media says he's going to be the greatest thing ever while swallowing Howie Roseman's cock whole
>Giants reach for a small school QB >Media slams the pick, declares the kid a bust, and calls for the GM's job
Why is there always a double standard when it comes to the Giants?
Brandon Clark
Redskins schlonging gettlememe into taking jones 6th overall is better than that one time the Redskins took brandon scherff and caused them to panic into drafting ereck flowers.
cherry on top is when callahan turns him into a serviceable guard.
Logan Cruz
because gettleman is retarded
Leo Wright
Because Wentz was actually good
Mason Morgan
Wentz was good and won like 3 national titles
Luke Rivera
Who the fuck did Chicago piss off to get that brutal schedule lol.
Caleb Evans
goodell for standing in the way of rodgers.
Chase Turner
Literally nothing Gettleman has done this offseason is as bad as people make it out to be
>MUH TRADING AWAY ODELL
Odell has only been a Second-Team All-Pro once and his most-outstanding contributions to his team have been undermining his coaches (Bitching about the playcalling @ PHI) and captains (Throwing Eli under the bus). Plus the fact that he hasn't finished the past two seasons due to injuries. Odell was the second-coming of Jeremy Shockey and it's better that he's not creating a schism in the locker room anymore.
Odell seems to have this idea that he made the Giants. Bullshit, the Giants made him. If he played for the Bengals or Buccaneers no one would know or give a shit who he is.
>MUH VERNON TRADE
Vernon was overpaid as fuck and would disappear like clockwork when it was time to nut up and make a play late in the game. He backed into the Pro Bowl because a ton of guys backed out. He had no business being there considering that when it was time to get to the quarterback late in the game he was nowhere to be found.
The only thing that Gettleman has done this season that I disagree with was let Landon Collins walk to a division rival, but based on his comments to Jalen Ramsey about Tom Coughlin I'm beginning to think that he doesn't get it either.
Robert Cox
>he was shit when you gave him to us No he was just a fat bitch who couldnt stop eating. He showed up 50 lbs overweight each training camp we had him We all thought he would be our LT of the future until he quit on the team and wanted surgery for something he could play through
James Phillips
>picking jones in the 1st >picking baker in the 1st >not retarded
Kayden Adams
Did you even see the Giants' corners last season? Jenkins doesn't give a shit anymore.
Jeremiah Hill
still could have picked him up in the 2nd or any of the other 30 good DBs
Samuel Robinson
>pay Odell >trade odell >carry Odell's dead cap in 19 >not that bad
Gettleman is a moron and only useful for making glib remarks to the media when they question his retarded decisions.
Kevin Wood
As a backup.
Tyler Harris
The timing of the Beckham trade was not ideal, but he brought it upon himself.
Jace Perez
>explain why he wont be the next rg3? Because their game is completely different? Their personalities are also completely different too.
Carter Myers
Giants would’ve drafted that Ohio dude without a second thought if he was white.
Charles Cook
sad that niggers unironically think this way and that it had nothing to do with jones relationship with the mannings and gettlememe being a fucking idiot.
Eli Robinson
Wueefs got btfo by the Patriots and then lost two all pro offensive weapons to domestic violence charges
never got why people freak out about nudes.remember janet jackson wtf is wrong with people
Julian Miller
rent free on a sunday night
Andrew Cruz
yea, the griefs are over without Hill and now mutthomes will be figured out, and even if he manages to play like 90% of how he did last year, the walrus will choke it away at the end of the season with 0 clock management skills and awful challenges, then he will blame a ref for not telling his linebacker he's offsides
