I just started watching this shit and the first thing I noticed is that, even in figure skating, the men's competition is way more impressive and entertaining than the women's, which is pretty boring by comparison. I am not even gay.

Gotta say, the generals have been based lately tbdesu. Pleb. The ladies are by far more competitive. The only real competition in men's is between Nathan and Yuzuru. This year for ladies is going to be wild, so many potentials to be fulfilled or choked out. We do, but she won't even be a junior in a while.
Male skating have a bit of problem with disparity between top 2, 3 (not sure if I can count Shoma after this season) and rest of the field, but it's entertaining to watch. Of course this is only true if you like skating, I'm well aware that most of you are creeps who watch it for jerking off to underage girls.

We're living in the golden age of (female) figure skating. 2020 has a chance to be the most stacked year in figure skating history, records will be falling left and right. There are few good skaters born in 07, 08 and it's too early to tell how talented they are, but I have a feeling we won't see this kind of talent ever again. It's seems to me 3A and Tut group in general aren't friends. From the latest interviews it seems like they don't really hang out.
