My club couldn't play in Europe due to the ban and that caused us to spiral down the league to become the first team in history to have won a major (at least at the time) English trophy and get relegated to the non-division. So, I kinda hate Liverpool for essentially causing this as the European money would have saved us.

Mate, they specifically weren't shit then which is the point. They got into Europe for winning the League Cup. This meant they were going to make money from ticket revenue and from their final positioning. This meant money could be reinvested into the club and the chairman would have not fucked up so hard. So yes, it is Liverpool's fault. It's fucking fact my club would have had more money to spend and attracted better players due to playing in Europe that season. What? The difference is that my team's stadium is a 10 min drive away and is part of my country of England and in the English Football League. We are thankfully safe in Division One despite spending 50% in and out of the relegation zone. Somehow we've managed to meme some wins.
