HOME TRUTHS ABOUT DURAN INCOMING! >Never beat an atg at lightweight, Esteban De Jesus and Ken Buchanan were not truly elite-ELITE fighters. >Beat Leonard not due to excellent boxing but as a consequence of Leonard deciding to fight Duran's game, and it was actually a very close fight which Leonard could have won on another night. It was a legitimate victory and Duran beat him mentally but it's not the spectacular domination many have called it >Got truly embarrassed in the rematch, and his weight issues do not adequately explain the extent to which Leonard's lateral movement eluded him even in the first round >HOTTEST TAKE INCOMING: Duran wasn't that fucking small, you would think the man was a midget that rose from minimumweight to heavyweight with the way people suck his cock off over going up weight classes. He was 5ft 7, Mayweather is 5ft 7 (though he pretends he's 5ft 8) and Pacquiao is 5ft 5.5, Both are more impressive and both actually came from lower weight classes to do better at Welter, his escapades at middleweight don't count for much because he didn't beat an atg fighter, though again people seem to glorify him because he gave Hagler a competitive fight, which is true, but does it really warrant him somehow being in the p4p top 5 EVER? No it fucking doesn't. Don't get me started on light heavy. >Duran's inside fighting wasn't that great, if it was then it would have travelled well with him up the weight classes. At middleweight against the likes of Hagler he had to fight at mid range because his style didn't work due to him being out muscled. Mayweather's inside fighting is actually better because it worked all the way up to light middleweight (i.e. against Canelo- admittedly a bit green at the time of that fight but still a naturally heavy man) despite him being small there too. >Also he was only 29/30 against Leonard, not that fucking old and past his prime like people say
>Look, no bullshit, I'm all in," Arum said. "We'll do 50-50 and split the TV with both ESPN and Fox, or whoever they want to use. Do it like we did for Floyd and Manny. It's easy. We want the fight and Terence wants the fight. We are not standing in the way of this fight and we are doing everything we can to get it done. Haymon won't even talk about it.
PBC fanfag niggers will still say it's Arum protecting Crawford
Chickenshit PBC blackfighters are eternal duckers: Wilder, Tank and Errol. None can prove they are the best in their division, always ducking.
Brayden Roberts
objectively true
Levi Barnes
Doubt it would happen. Even if Arum is genuine and I think he might be considering the bind he's in, ESPN and Fox won't agree. Mayweather Pacquiao was going to make enough money that splitting the cuts would still net hundreds of millions for the networks. Spence Crawford isn't that big.
>Crawford resigns with Top Rank despite knowing they have no one >REEEEE pbc niggers are the worst
Noah Edwards
The issue with this fight is that haymon has the options that arum doesn't
haymon could feed porter, thurman, and garcia to errol before he would even have to think about crawford
arum isn't getting a 50/50 split basically, he has literally no leverage and if they wanna make this fight errol is going to be the a side and it's going to be on fox ppv, no exceptions. otherwise the fight isn't going to happen
it sucks for us, but it's bud's fault for resigning with top rank after they failed to make him a household name despite being a generational talent
Oliver Roberts
The absolute state of boxing when fans are having boring in-depth discussions about managers, networks and contract details

Really torn between which Saturday card to watch. The Showtime card has a better undercard but the DAZN main event is better
Robert Mitchell
>every single fighter on earth has to sign with Al Haymon or it's their fault they can't fight Al Haymon fighters cause Al Haymon fighters should only fight Al Haymon fighters and FUCK boxing and FUCK fans and FUCK everything else
Kevin Ross
Why not Showtime's undercards then DAZN's main event?
Jose Long
Why doesn't everyone do this ? They giving out knockout victories for low blows now -
Ian Cruz
>REEEE WHY DOESN'T HAYMON LET HIS FIGHTERS FIGHT CRAWFORD
He just fought Amir Khan, a haymon fighter and fought John Molina Jr., another haymon fighter.
It's clear you don't know what you're talking about, 147 is a division that pbc owns. Of course Crawford is to blame for pussying out.
Parker Lopez
I think Dazn’s main event will start before Showtime’s undercards finish.
Sure AJ slept like a baby after Eddie got the samples switched
Connor Myers
Why don't these niggas wear a cup
Asher Young
>147 is a division that pbc owns And people like you are the reason he gets away with "owning" a division, because you're okay with a Spence/Porter or Spence/Mikey ppv when we already know the outcome
Zachary Watson
>okay with spence porter Blame crawford for sticking with Top Rank and therefore ESPN. I mean jesus at least pbc is putting their fighters against actual opposition.
Porter fought Ugas and DSG just fought Granados. Those 2 guys are literally better than anyone Crawford has faced at welterweight, khan included. The level of opposition Crawford is facing should have him fighting 3-4 times a year like Tevin Farmer, but no because Arum is overpaying for his bum fights. But it's no its okay because its actual PBC's fault crawford signed to a competing promoter on a competing network who is known to "marinate" fights and for general obstructionism.
You would think he would've learned from mayweather's example when he broke away from Arum but I guess Bum crawford doesn't have the balls or the brains needed.
Compared to Crawford's opposition at welterweight, they are.
Benavidez, a fucking cripple, wasn't even ranked in the top 100 welterweights when he fought Crawford. Khan is washed up as fuck. Both Granados and Ugas would beat the guys crawford fought. Some p4p#1 huh
Aiden Lewis
Imagine discussing promotional deals and revenue splits as a fan and defending the interests of networks and promoters. Cucked and sad.
Easton Torres
Literally EVERYONE above featherweight is a fucking bum coward. I'm only watching manlets from now on. At least they'll get the fights made, just look at the kino card this Friday.
Elijah Myers
>Benavidez, a fucking cripple, wasn't even ranked in the top 100 welterweights when he fought Crawford due to inactivity. he is a better fighter than Granados and Ugas on his best day.
Robert Long
>Both Granados and Ugas would beat the guys crawford fought. Amir Khan can come back and beat both those bums. And Horn beats them both
Hunter Gray
Did you not see Ward-Kovalev? Low blows are legal now
why is everyone such a little bitch these days? get fucking pummeled and dropped in the first round, quit to a single low blow while wearing groin protector, and later machine gun fire excuses and empty claims on social media
Michael Foster
im tired of boxing
its my favourite sport but its just fucking shit isnt it, tired of all the fights never happening, tired of the ducking, tired of having to care about who gets paid what or which promoters don't like eachother, tired of the widespread corruption.
when did I say it wasn't popular, i said im fucking SICK of it
Benjamin Lee
why didnt byrd stop it right there ?
Oliver Jackson
90s and early 2000s. I hate saying this meme but mayweather ruined boxing
Aaron Reed
Remember when ggg was supposed to bring back boxing? LMAO! fucking hbo hype jobs! Choco and kovalev too.
Owen Jackson
I first thought that the Crawford-khan card must have sold like dogshit but now it seems like every MMAnlet on the planet watched it and I am so confused as to why
>That god awful hook >Punching a guy in the face while he's down and dazed
You're really doing a bad job at trying to get boxing fans interested in your ugly sport
Parker King
>Aiming for a a trilogy with Canelo later in the year >L-Look at him taking tune up fights Small brain post
Levi Diaz
Oh ok, good point. I never considered it from that perspective.
Jason Myers
If you've been passionately watching boxing for years, it's nearly impossible to get into UFC. I can't watch a fight without cringing at how shit their boxing skills are. Every one of them would get chinned instantly.
They must get a lot of cross attention being on the same network
Kayden Phillips
Just ignore them most of heem aren't old enough to buy beer
As far as GGG guys I think they went from N'Dam to Rolls hoping Jacobs works over Canelo pretty good in a loss then with pressure from Dazn they make him go straight into the third fight of the trilogy with their guy completely fresh
Liam Evans
A lot of them are underaged kids/incel college kids, just ignore them.
Ethan Taylor
sort of, it is bizarre that hearn wants ortiz to replace miller considering that ortiz is also a drugs cheat whilst he is saying there should be life bans for drug cheats etc but blaming the reaction from fans as racism and abuse directed at her as sexism is very, very retarded
as opposed to of-age incels on /box/? Granted, /box/ threads are generally much better and have much less autism, but let's not pretend like both places aren't rife with social cripples.
Kevin Williams
Underrated
Jacob Richardson
This is exactly it for me.
I used to do MT and I love all martial arts but holy fuck.... The striking is so cringe I can't enjoy UFC at all.
Brandon Ward
Amazed at this perspective, remarkable that box threads could be considered anything of value.
Caleb Russell
/heem/ is LITERALLY filled with discord trannies and underaged shitposters, /box/ is miles better
Lucas Cook
Um no honey /box/ is in fact one of the best generals on Yea Forums
David White
It's like y'all can't read. Honestly, there's frequent worthwhile discussion. The tribal mentalities are par for the course when you're dealing with a population of emotional brainlets, but at least you can have a productive dialogue at length with the right people. /heem/ is legitimately a home for the mentally ill and I'm sorry some of them have lately decided to shit up /box/ as well. They truly are wastes of DNA.
Charles Torres
Not him. Just found that pic and thought it'd be funny to post. Crawford still top 3 though.
Levi Thompson
Loma, Usyk, Fury are the p4p top 3. You're legitimately a casual if you don't agree and should find a different sport to watch.
John Barnes
Everyone here is too contrarian to agree with this but I would argue that you could make this case and it would be very hard to come up with 3 better.
Henry Sanders
Having Fury even in the top ten exposes you as a brainlet casual.
Zachary Clark
Maybe, but in real life Usyk is going to lose to Joshua and there is nothing you can do about it hahahaha
Jose Edwards
>fury Nah. p4p he's nothing special. If he wasn't the size he is, in the division he's in he wouldn't be as successful
Caleb Morales
Don't know why you responded to me if you agree that /heem/ is filled to the brim with autistic children.
there isn't a better pure boxer in the division, he could clean it out
Jackson Sullivan
>/heem/ poster behind some dancing faggot attention whore
Wow what a surprise
David Cox
joshua is a big stiff idiot
Isaac Collins
joshua fury is a 50/50 fight
Henry Bell
fury would completely embarrass joshua just like he did to klitschko
Jayden Cooper
he didn't completely embarrass klitschko, he won it but it wasn't a 12-0 shutout plus klit and joshua have completely different styles
Brody Hall
>it wasn't a 12-0 shutout yeah, my bad it was 11-1 and it isn't like joshua would fare much better, fury's got more reach and height and can outbox him easily
Elijah Hernandez
>The broner fight proves it. You're implying that Broner is a world level welterweight
Josiah Richardson
fury got KD and almost KO by wilder,
joshua easily hits hard enough to do the same and has better shot selection than wilder so will be more likely to land. fury isnt as infallible as youre making out
Evan Miller
>Chicano I'm so sorry. Ew. lol
Gavin Lee
Being the best boxer in a bum division isn't doesn't make you a p4p fighter. He beat Klitschko like 5 years ago and hasn't done shit since besides nearly get killed by a Windmill
Samuel Martinez
fury was out of the ring for years and still wasn't at his best before he fought wilder. he'll be even better by the time he fights joshua. easy win for him
Ethan Fisher
wilder also has literal retard strength and he probably edges joshua in power, and as the other user said he had severe ring rust and still managed to keep fighting on after getting KD
Easton Bailey
I wish that's me
Gavin Bell
Was me* Goddammit
Joseph Thomas
coulda woulda shoulda
he may be as good as you say, but until he proves it the incessant praise he gets is undue in my personal opinion
as much as i don't like joshua, based on what we KNOW right now in 2019 he is better than the rest
Hudson Jones
Broner is the most solidly proven B/B+ level fighter at welterweight. Which is more than we can say of Crawford's opposition
Owen Murphy
I wonder if PBC would be more open to Crawford vs Spence if Arum hadn't driven Fury away from the rematch with Wilder
Jackson Martinez
There's literally no point to make the fight now from pbc's standpoint. They can make spence a star by fighting porter and Thurman/Pac and make more money.
Isaac Martinez
Jesus fuck that's disgusting
Blake Anderson
>According to numerous outlets in the Virgin Islands, John Jackson (son of Julian Jackson) is facing a minimum 15-year sentence in federal prison after being indicted on charges of sexual offenses against aminor. Rip

Dylan King
Wilder was gassed at that point. Fury probably wouldn't get up if he hit him like that earlier
Jordan Murphy
they're all bums
Hudson Johnson
nice argument, if wilder would have just stood there and let fury hit him we wouldve been knocked out cold
Easton Anderson
That's not true. Klitschko did pretty damn well for a lot of it.
And Fury would box circles around AJ, though not necessarily to a win.
Wilder has way more velocity/leverage in his punches than AJ and Furys KD was just a perfectly landed shot at full power. 1 out of the 100000 he threw that didn't miss.
I actually really like AJ but his technique is well below Furys and his power is below Wilder's... Unsurprisingly, considering his muscle mass, if AJ actually perfected his technique, he'd be way more powerful than Wilder.
Juan Baker
>afghan can't understand English The point is that Wilder didn't hit him as hard as he could have. He was gassed as fuck
Nathaniel Scott
it's still a nonsense argument, what matters is how clean you hit and what momentum the target has at the moment, and not every punch you throw has the same power regardless how much gas you have in your tank
Justin Robinson
power is mostly a gift, AJ punches hard but never as hard as wilder no matter what he does
Grayson Baker
Yeah but his punches are going to weaker by virtue of him being gassed.
Jason Barnes
sweetpea and roger had a spicy banger of a fight
Levi Gutierrez
I got destroyed today in sparring. First by a guy who has 20 kgs on me and taller and who could overpower me if I got close and hit first at range because of height. Secondly by a guy my size who let me hit him a bit and then started baiting me and hitting when I was setting up and getting out fast and then he could basically snap his jab out faster than I could predict at range and snap my head back if I tried staying away and countered if I attacked. I guess next time I'll start blocking his jab while jabbing back to dissuade him from doing that, and when hes baiting try to get close enough to land a fast straight right and if he tries something just duck and jab to the body.
Partially I want to blame it on usually not using helmets in sparring and it getting in the way, but this feels bad man...
Gabriel Garcia
This wouldn’t happened if you knew mma
Anthony Long
But the sweet science
Anthony Phillips
Did you try parrying his jabs? How's your head movement upon entry? Feints? Level changes? If you're getting stopped in your tracks you're doing something predictable.
That's why Khan kept getting rocked even though he's fast af... He always steps with his jab and never moves his head so he's easy to time.
Yeah that's one of the things I thought about, parrying. Good tips on working in more head movement and predictability and feints, I usually forget those in favor of trying to be faster and keeping my guard.
Feints and level changes help you utilize your speed... You can be the fastest person in the world but if the guy knows it's coming, it doesn't mean shit.
It's almost like rock paper scissors... If someone throws rock two times in a row, they almost always switch it up on the third one. If they're good, they'll read you and throw it again the third time. If they're really really good and cherky, they can even throw it a fourth time in a row and still win because they got you flustered already and questioning yourself.
You got predictable and got set in a pattern, and you threw what he wanted you to throw. (assuming there was nothing else to this spar, I'm just going by what you wrote)
cool blogpost, you want advice? Improve your boxing lole
Josiah Hall
I know, im just thinking out loud. I need to git gud
Either way I post, still better content reading my ramblings than most posts in this thread imo.
Asher Powell
I like your attitude. Remember to drill the movements you've suggested for yourself a lot so that they are actually performable in the ring. Don't just think "well I'll try this next time" because your muscle memory and old habits will fuck you
Austin Moore

>You know, a lot of guys that we’re interested in fighting, like Kell Brook, has said that he wanted to fight Terence,” Arum told a group of reporters early Sunday morning.
So I'm scanning through BoxRec trying to see who could possibly fight Crawford next and so far the only realistic opponents I see are
Omar Figueroa Jr Sadam Ali Jessie Vargas Sergey Lipinets Kudratillo Abdukakhorov
Now I'm not sure how many of those are with PBC but these seem to be the only realistic opponents available for Crawford. He can't even move up to Super welterweight for a fight or two because PBC own that division too and Goldenboy won't want Munguia to get exposed before cashing him out.
Boxing is in the absolute shitter. You got a terrific fighter in his prime and he can't fight anyone because of politics. So fucking gay.
Nathaniel Johnson
He beat porter 5 years ago, then got his face broken twice. If you watched his last fight, you would know he's not a good opponent. He's the textbook definition of a shot fighter. Even his trainer left him.
Brody Cooper

Ryan Cruz
or Kavaliauskas
Colton Stewart
If excuse Fury getting knocked out with ring rust you have to do the same with thurman
John Cooper
Lipinets and Figueroa are with PBC. Ali and Varags are unlikely since they are with DAZN, obviosly Matchroom/GB could send them over but it is unlikely. Eddie has said he wants to meet Brook vs Vargas. Realistically it's Chris Van Heerden (who TR signed), David Avanesyan, Kavaliauskas/Ray Robinson, Thomas Doulorme, Luis Collazo (who was also signed by TR) and Besputin
William Clark

>Not afraid to fight anyone Yeah he switched drug tests with Big Baby because of his bravery
Bentley Ross
surely DAZN will veto that, Ruiz can fight a little but he looks like shit, he and AJ will look comical in the ring together
Levi Brown
I don't see that tweet
Jeremiah Price
Why would them veto that? Yes he's a fat cunt but so was Miller and Ruiz is a former world title challenger so on paper it looks good. He's also from LA so he has a few fans. He just fought last so if he goes right back into training camp he's gonna look decent. And besides that he is the only other realistic opponent besides Hunter
Adrian Martinez
Not many people know who Anthony Joshua is, even many fans of His including his critics do not know him. Some think he is soft and timid because of his jovial nature. Listen, AJ is a lion, a beast inside the ring. If you toy with him you will be torn into pieces.
Tyler Gutierrez
I really think its going to be Kell Brook now. Think about it. Kell Brook is pretty much the best win on Spence's record. He's independent of Haymon. Not many people will watch his last fight and realize he's shot, so Crawford can stop him earlier than Spence did and then they could spin it as "Here's why Spence is ducking".
Easton Ramirez
Grinder that finally broke through and had a nice title run at the end of his career, been a while but he used to come up occasionally. Between him, Margarito, and Mayweather-Hatton I think there's a solid group of people here that started following the sport around 2007-ish
Elijah Rivera
I mean look at this fucking guy. If I didn't know boxing and they were trying to sell me the fight I'd think it was a joke. He's also 6'2" with a 74" reach. At least Miller carried his weight a little better
I don't think crawfors would stop him even if he batters him the whole fight, unless his face breaks again
Zachary Cooper
I read somewhere that Hearn was leaning away from Ruiz because he wouldn't "play" well with the british audience. Miller is fat but he's built fat. Ruiz just looks fat.
Holy fuck. This really is going ahead, isn't it? Fucking hell.
Tyler Martin
I definitely think so. Watch his last fight. Brook was getting hit with punches he shouldn't have and he even got hurt at one point by a literal who. He was sluggish and his timing is gone. Crawford would destroy him in 6 rounds tops.
Angel Watson
Ruiz >>>> Miller
Bentley Gonzalez
They might have found the only HW more obese than Miller. Maybe they figure people with tickets will stick it out
Jaxson Foster
I'd hate to see how bad Miller actually is without his PEDs.
Sebastian Walker
watch the Maravilla doc, it shows how he was written off as a prospect losing to Margarito and his struggle making it back to the world scene with zero backing and promotion, plus added WBC corruption kino
Kayden Foster
Most of the tickets were bought by brits so it would be difficult to drop out only on a months notice without losing your money. There were also package deals so they bought tix and a sponsored hotel room.
Yes, by allowing drug cheats to fight no matter what. If boxing was like the UFC, Miller would still be fighting. Like how Jon Jones keeps fighting despite having drugs pumping in his body.
Gavin Gonzalez

UFC only became successful after they were able to buy out all their competitors and force a monopoly with the best stable of fighters. White would enter an already crowded promotional war and no one would want to sign with him at the start except for shitters. Maybe he could buyout Main Events stable?
Matthew Wood
why does /box/ spend most the thred talking about mmgay.. wtf
Blake Hernandez
/heem/ is really insecure about their hugging sport so they have to come here and try to get other people to talk about it. It's a really really sad general they have.

i don't think it's that cut and dry. jacobs, from what i remember anyway, is a good boxer and i actually thought he was winning against ggg at one point.
Brody Barnes
canelo he had problems with lara and to a lesser extent trout who are both skilled southpaws who like to go on the backfoot but jacobs would have to win 10 rounds to get a draw which he won't do, goldenboy judges are not a meme think it will be 7-5 canelo in a close fight but scored as a shut-out
Gavin Walker

Oh shit, didn't know he had videos that popular. The ones that were posted here had low views. Didn't really browse through his catalog.
Joshua is so manufactured and fake that he can't even diss his opposition without reading off of a teleprompter. I don't think there's ever been a Boxing champion with such a carefully crafted and protected brand image, if there has been, then his team is just doing a poorer job at hiding how fake he is. He can't even do radio shows without Eddie Hearn literally standing in the same room as him off camera.
I'd probably be able to like him so much if he were to put on a real personality, or if his current personality didn't seem fake, but the fakeness alone makes me dislike him.
Ryder Campbell
You act as though Crawford and Spence haven't been stunned in their careers before. Gamboa put Crawford on queer street, and Spence has gotten rocked by literal early-level journeymen. In comparison, being rocked by Lopez in one round after not even being able to really train for a year and a half due to injuries isn't so bad.
I really don't get why the two cards aren't; Taylor-Baranchyk in Glasgow Inoue-Rodriguez in Tokyo.
Taylor and Inoue the two biggest home-grown ticket sellers in the WBSS, and yet they have Inoue on the undercard of Taylor. I love Prograis, but no one has heard of him, he's not going to sell a show too well in his home state. Inoue meanwhile could probably sell out a large arena in Tokyo or Yokohama.
He's the opposite of crawford. Good on the mic but probably a dull personality in private.
Angel Hernandez
>he's not going to sell a show too well in his home state He actually did okay when he fought on ESPN,it wasnt a sell out, but he also did good numbers on tv

no one likes him here because his accent makes him come across as a closet queer who takes dick up the arse for fun. also he chats so much shit in general.
John Rodriguez
This. It's clear as day that AJ and Hearn realized they were in over their heads, and so they took the easy way out.
Now the great exposing we were all waiting for isn't going to happen. I knew when they announced the fight it was too good to be true, that they wouldn't actually make Juicin' J fight someone that dangerous. Now we know, it was too good to be true, Eddie Hearn would never risk Johnson taking a loss.
Will Jacobs knock out Canelo? No. Hence he won't win, decisions are always rigged.
Landon Parker

Why they break up? Did Garcia go back to his Bebe Dooter's Mama?
Lucas Watson
Kov has never ran from a fight, always challenged the champs. Reminder that Stevenson shamelessly ducked him for years
70% of people going to MSG are there for AJ, they dont care about whether it's Ruiz or Hunter. And the same applies to possible DAZN viewers, hardcore boxing fans will watch it regardless and casuals that will tune in will not do because Hunter is more known than Ruiz (which really it isnt) or he looks better. Ruiz definitely looks bad there but he weighed in at 260, since he's not taking any time off he will likely drop weight
Yes that is messed up, but apparently Prograis kinda put a veto on Glasgow because he wanted to headline his own show in the US. This is more his fault more than the WBSS imo. I hope he realizes he's not a draw and he doesnt act like a bitch in the future
Lucas Martin
Not supposed to be. It's extremely obvious that Hearn and G String framed him
So I'm assuming Hunter is going to be AJ's opponent for MSG, is there anyone else whose even close? I would have thought they'd tried to get Shannon Briggs to replace the hamburglar
Hudson Campbell
Jacobs could outbox Canelo for 12 rounds and it'd still be a SD to Canelo
Anthony Gonzalez
Canelo by a wide unanimous decision in an uneventful fight.
Caleb Harris
>Taylor-Baranchyk in Glasgow >Inoue-Rodriguez in Tokyo. WBSS is too strapped for cash and too logistically impotent to pull it off.
I'm sure I am. That's why I asked "how?", you butthole
Jordan Wood
Fuck off with this shit, so annoying
Dominic Martinez
>you butthole unnecessary rudeness, apologize
Jayden Gomez
It was trending on YouTube and the fight was so bad they don't even care enough to take down all the rips
Benjamin Williams
compare brook to kid galahad, same accent one sounds bent, one doesn't
Ryder Diaz
What a fucking reachlet, he's got t-rex arms
Julian Cox
Briggs is 47, not in the rankings and probably wouldn’t pass the drug tests. Hunter is likely, Andy Ruiz being enthusiastic for the fight may put him into consideration as a way to swerve people
He’ll fight in December which has to be Usyk unless Usyk himself decides he needs more time. It doesn’t really matter who they get for Joshua at this stage the event is fucked, Coyle vs Algieri will be the only competitive fight on there
Nolan Bennett
Ruiz is a better opponent than Miller but sadly Matchroom won't have enough time to deploy their shills to convince people of this unlike how they did with convincing people Miller is decent.
Wyatt Bailey
they're both shit lmao there is actually no point to fighting either
Carson Wilson
Where do I meet non boomer whites that follow boxing? The only whites outside of gyms that I can talk boxing with are my grandpa’s boomer buddies.
Connor Howard
>whites >cambodia
Chase Cox
There’s a lot of backpackers and even retirees that visit. Tons of expats in certain neighborhoods of Phnom Penh.
>probably wouldn’t pass the drug tests Of course he wouldn't, G String would swap tests with him
Adrian Gonzalez
>yeah I pick canelo for that fight but only because the judges will give it to him anyways C O P E
Luis White
This tbqh. Canelo has to win at least 9 rounds or else everyone is gonna cry robbery again like they always do.
Ayden Long
slurp slurp slurp
Brandon Walker
Why have whites kept following boxing in Britain? Whites in richer countries have lost appetite for the sport. Is it because their working class is more class conscious? Working class whites in America just say they’re middle class and watch NFL.
Jason Butler
Whites in Britain are like blacks in America. Look at all the poles in boxing. Jean Jacques Dessalines, Haiti's first president called the polish honorary negroes
Nolan Ross
There's nothing honorable about that
Easton Collins
In case no one's said it recently, bless you Oleksandr
Not that guy but a tune up fight would be someone in the 10-20 ranked fighters. Considering that golovkin still thinks he's number 1 in the division. Shit he only has 6 fights signed and he's just going to give one away to somebody who is a complete and utter who? I can't respect someone that much. It's on par with danny garcia fighting rod salka
Oliver Phillips
>danny garcia fighting rod salka Waiting for the rematch
I'm so glad all the p4p contender fights like GGG Canelo and Crawford Khan have disappointed the retarded fans of this lot
Camden Price
Good slick fighter with some skills but nothing unbelievable. Got his big breakout performance when he knocked the fuck out of Paul Williams in a knock out of the year(don't quote me on it). PW was seen as a big boogeyman in the division and the fact that Sergio knocked him out was impressive. Then Sergio went on to fight some soft competition, admittedly the best he could find in his division but it was weak. Would have to wear a brace during fights because his knees were fucked. Was a shell of a man when he lost to Cotto.
If he existed in the mixup of today's middleweights he'd ranked about 5th. Ggg, Jacobs, and Canelo would all beat him pretty thoroughly
Isaac Powell
BLESS YOU ALEKSANDR
Charles Miller
GGG VS Canelo 1 & 2 didn't disappoint
Bentley Perry
Yeah maybe disappoint isn't the right word, still I'm glad all the GGG rimlickers are butthurt
Connor Jones
He already fought dulorme. And he fought Hank Lundy. And dulorme and Lundy fought eachother. I know that b I saw the dulorme/Lundy fight live ringside and thought it was a draw. Then a few months later they lined up dulorme with Crawford and I was like wtfff this guy isn't ready for craw. And then almost a year later they lined Lundy up with Crawford and I was like wtfffff this guy lost to dulorme who lost to craw.
It only made me more suspicious of Crawford skill when I saw that he was racking up a record against guys like that. Especially considering his breakout performance to make a name for himself was KOing a washed up tiny Gamboa. But all these fights later and we can see he has skill for sure, we just don't know how much.
One fight I was most excited about was him vs postol. I was so surprised when he fucked the shit out of postol.
Gabriel Russell
Do you have that webm of him throwing a 10 punch combination at MOORAT in the 12th?
I see Jacobs backpeddaling a lot in this fight moving around the ring constantly while potshotting canelo. I see canelo cutting the ring off once or twice a round after the 3rd round and landing some solid combinations on danny. Then it goes to the scorecards, from there who knows
Nolan Price
>when an entire board is so asshurt that a middleweight Mexican exists
Benjamin Bennett
You're out of your fucking mind if you believe this.
Elijah Bennett
Hurrrr no he didn't do well golovkin was just making a good fight by letting brooke hit him flush in the face because that's how good golovkin is
Jeremiah Morales
if your unable to recognise that there has been a consistent air of shadyness above the norm surrounding canelo for his whole career and you don't think its a bad thing you're either an idiot, mexican or contrarian
recoginising that the consistently dodgy scorecards, special treatment, caneloweighting and all the rest is a bad thing says nothing about whether you like his boxing skills or not. grow up
Jaxon Morris
Talk to me
Lucas Ramirez
>crawford-khan >p4p contender lol decent bait
Brayden White
true, everyday is treading through the same monotonous slough, I hate it
Evan Sanders
are you an actual chink or an ameripig in HK
Christian Williams
If he was a prime version i wouldn't rank him below Canelo or Jacob's and I'd definitely rate him higher than this version of ggg. Martinez was legit
TV money is more important, ticket sales are secondary. It’s going on Sky Sports in the U.K.
Asher Walker
Look at the size of that BBC. I wish I was black.
Isaac Cook
you mean you want that bbc inside you
Brody Green
Ameritard When would be his prime version? Between margarito and Chavez jr? He's going to win that BBC award
Brandon Perry
I think he was pretty spot on. Really how you wanna rank them all is meaningless Martinez isn't gonna come out of retirement and start fighting people
Austin Watson
WBSS got picked up by sky
Grayson Collins
Blessed
Dominic Johnson
>letting brooke hit him flush in the face That's what happened tho. The only fighter to ever really put him in trouble was Canelo. "Brook exposed him" meme is the dumbest thing you can say. Jacobs did a way better job than Brook and he still lost imo
Benjamin Fisher
AIN'T NO STOPPIN US NOW! WE'RE ON THE MOVE! AIN'T NO STOPPIN US NOW! WE'VE GOT THE GROOVE! AIN'T NO STOPPIN US NOW! WE'RE ON THE MOVE! AIN'T NO STOPPIN US NOW! WE'VE GOT THE GROOVE!
I'm and I didn't know that people memed Brook exposed him. I'm not on /box/ very often.
Just saying I thought he did pretty well against him and it was weird seeing the hate in this thread about him.
I followed his training on Boxing Science and thought it was pretty cool.
Ian Adams
Yeah, Luis Ortiz is not really on that list. Just clout chasing honestly.
Nathan Ramirez
Its gonna be hunter and frankly besides Ortiz he's the best fighter I have no idea why it's even a discussion or why he wasn't the official reserve to begin with
Man, that guys not playing with a full deck is he. Talented, but he's real dry on a mic.
Henry Lopez
Reminder that Eddie Hearn and Oscar have people hyping up their fighters here
Chase Howard

Daniel Nguyen
Wtf I only just realized how stacked this week was, I thought this was going to be another boring week with mismatches like the last month has been, but we're getting a lot of coin toss fights.
Top 5 fighters in their Weight class fights; >SSR vs Estrada >Roman-Doheny >Tete-Donaire
Decent, competitive top 10 matchups; >Easter-Barthelemy >Postol-Mimoune
Decent fight, but very clear favorites: >Prograis-Relikh >Vargas-Soto
None of these fights have the casual or mainstream hype/interest at all, but all of these are fights where I can see either guy winning except for Prograis-Relikh. My predictions for wins are; Estrada, Roman, Tete, Easter, Mimoune, Prograis, and Vargas
Brody Carter
why would any white or latino boxer sign with pbc or al haymon?
Dylan Fisher
this is not funny its was funnier for rigo fans
Mason Wood
Hate how aesthetic the specialty WBC belts are, that really looks awesome
Leo Jones
Imagine if Jacobs stops Canelo and Sulaiman has to hand him this fucking Mexican ass belt
Jacob Mitchell
>why would any white or latino boxer sign with pbc or al haymon? What? PBC has literally had the only relevant White American boxers of this decade, as well as a handful of pretty damn decent latinos.
Why do White people get so uncomfortable when it comes to Al Haymon?
Brandon Wilson
>$0.10 have been deposited into your PBC account
Xavier Lee
>Say something blatantly wrong >Get corrected >"hurr fuk off shill"
>american doesn't understand why you'd support your team color me surprised
Cooper Parker
REMINDER
TODAY Nonito Donaire is a bantamweight world champion and he will be defending his title in the World Boxing Super Series. He recently went the distance with Carl Frampton a champion 2 divisions above his best weight in his hometown and beat Ryan Burnett.
Everyone wish Nonito luck and somebody PLEASE remind me what rigo is up too
should I try to sign with eddie or al haymon if I want to make the most money? caleb plant, adam kownacki
Connor Adams
Earn with Hearn my man, i'll put you in touch with him if you want.
Luke Thompson
>only pbc fighters Same thing happened to to Dillian whyte. PBC lives rent free in your head. Its obvious Ortiz was never a serious option. No way do they go from a shitter like miller to a top 10 heavyweight like ortiz
Ian Lewis
That belt is half Mexican and half Kazakh. He's also a self professed Mexican style guy. With Jacobs they're pretty much saying "Yeah we know Canelo is going to win"
Dylan Bell
>your team >promotional company is a team AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Julian Reyes
Whyte was offered over $5 million. Ortiz purse for Wilder was $500k, their ‘low ball’ offer was probably 6 times higher
Jonathan Harris
>Making up numbers that COULD have been sent to Ortiz, and assuming its real to defend Matchroom >"B-b-but i'm not a matchroom shill guys!"
Chase Reyes
>sportsci.org/news/news9709/hatfield.html Found out this really interesting article about Holyfield's training by Frederick Hatfield (who was his strength coach in the 90's). Recommended if you want to know more about training, although obviously you have to take into account all the PED he was taking.
Landon Roberts
I'm a Green Bay Packers fan but I'm not going to go around defending the GM's decisions
He was offered $2 million for Whyte so how much for Joshua when Miller was on $4.875 million from Matchroom alone? You still think Ortiz is the boogeyman when he’s 40 years old and got knocked out by Wilder. His best win is Jennings. He’s been offered money and ducked it
Juan Sanders
What was the best ring walk of the past 5 years?
Adrian Hill
how come ryan garcia is so popular with the ladies? there are other handsome boxers nobody cares about
Colton Flores
>american doesn't understand why you'd support your team >color me surprised Jesus Christ. This might be the most pathetic comment I've seen in this general. Explains a lot. Matchroom, PBC, Top Rank aren't teams you fucking retard.
I love how our sport gets an exemption from political correctness.
You have that Australian rugby player who's going to get a life ban for saying gay's go to hell, meanwhile we have Broner saying he's gonna shoot any faggots that come near him and nobody gives a shit kek.
Robert Cook
Check his Instagram and look at what he posts
Aaron Howard
rugby is run by total faggots in fairness, I say this as a rugby fan
Ryan Martinez
Klitschko's ring walks were always pretty great, though his best ones came before the past 5 years, his one against Fury was pretty good. Wilder's ring walk against Fury was also pretty damn great too.
Pacquiao literally thinks gays need to be executed, and yet hes one of the sport's most revered icons to this day. I love Boxing because the fragile political correctness of everyday life isn't as present. Boxing is strife with political clashes and racial tension, but despite that it's not censored, it's put right in front of us to eat up and enjoy.
Owen Gomez
He's the boogeyman because no one wants to fight him. He's too high risk low reward. Whyte called him out and then disappeared when Ortiz accepted. Every top heavyweight throws his name out there and only Wilder has actually fought him. You saw why people avoid him, he was destroying wilder
Sebastian Roberts
Boxing’s still the wild west, it’s a racket to make money
Camden Robinson
Klitschko's ringwalk for the Haye fight is one of my favorites. Corny and then super serious when he walks through a crowd of screaming haye fans youtube.com/watch?v=6fhKiCpVrf8
Joshua Richardson
No one wants to fight but he’s been offered millions of dollars? He wasn’t destroying Wilder, he rocked him once
You should check out boxingscience.co.uk if you like that stuff.
I've found a lot of their PDFs online but if I had the money I'd get their Train Like A Champion series. Seems legit.
If you buy it, email it to me pls
Ryan Williams
Not with the judges and that’s a reflection of Wilder not being a very good boxer. If Eddie had the cheek to offer them $1 million they would be putting the number out there but they’re trying to shift blame because the actual number is too high to call low ball. Haymon didn’t want him to do it, Jay Jimenez kept it open just incase they offered stupid money
Luke Collins
He had him out on his feet for an entire minute. The time frame is too short. He can't pass a drug test, doesn't have enough time to prepare. There's a reason no top contenders take fights on short notice. Especially at hw, a single brutal knockout can end their career. They all want the best shot they can get. This is partially why Whyte turned down a fight with Joshua, he wasn't given enough time.
Gabriel Walker
>He wasn't destroying Wilder
What fight were you watching? Wilder was lucky to get more than 2 rounds.
Dominic Allen
>They all want the best shot they can get. Yes, steroid shots.
Mason Smith
>There's a reason no top contenders take fights on short notice
Yeah but how often does this shit happen? And most of the time its because they champion's team underestimates or has no knowledge of the guy they chose. Which is why I also think Ortiz and Kownacki were never serious options. They chose Miller because he was someone joshua could look amazing against in his US debut. They're not going to want someone who can chin check him.
Jason Lopez
I haven't heard that one before, Deontay Wilder was winning from 20 seconds into the fight, and he continued to not win until the final bell, where they announced he didn't win
Kevin Peterson
I agree but fans are using this to assume he's going to retire at any second when ortiz himself has never said anything resembling retirement. He has a young sick daughter, and he just last year gave Wilder one of his toughest fights. He's still an elite heavyweigth who would beat most others, why would he retire? Povetkin is 40 and is coming off an even more brutal knockout. Povetkin has made way more money than Ortiz and he's still fighting. Ortiz is thinking longer term than fans assume.
Ryan Diaz
>kownacki better than miller he makes joe joyce look fast
Kevin Lee
Thanks, will give it a check. Not sure I want to commit reading an entire book though, I'm not that keen on the subject
Another very interesting article regarding Holyfield and weightlifting is this one >starkcenter.org/igh/igh-v7/igh-v7-n2-n3/igh0703d.pdf This really gives some insight on how soviets were so much ahead of their time as far as their training program and sport science, they really revolutionized the game. I wouldnt be surprised if they still are, just look at how much some of Papachenko's training exercises are becoming mainstream
Hudson Hill
joke joyce more like goat joyce
Camden Cruz
Miller is pillowfisted. It took him 7 rounds to stop washington. Washington wasn't hurt, he was just too tired to continue and now we know Miller is using endurance peds. Kownacki did this youtube.com/watch?v=o2ipMfwZmsY
Ryan Reed
Broner gave off some fag vibes during some interview with Tank because he was rubbing up on him and shit
Benjamin King
There’s definitely matchroom shills too, sporting icons and IFL immediately come to mind
The man used to fucking babysit Briggs 45 years ago
William Wood
he rocked him a few times, Fury was just just being way too defensive
Nathaniel Gray
Kugan is a huge Matchroom dick slurper
Dominic Thompson
I love it but I think it's also hypocritical. Shakur Stevenson is fine to fight when there's footage of him beating up bystanders but David Benavidez gets stripped of his belt and suspended for snorting coke at Canelo GGG 2? Why even bother punishing fighters for that?
Adrian Scott
IFLTV make enough money off views that’s the difference, in the early days before anyone cared about YouTube interviews Eddie was giving Kugan £500 a week
Carson James
To this day I'm surprised he was stripped and suspended. I think it must be mandatory for failed drug tests he probably could've gotten pinched for possession and been better off.
Also imagine if heavyweights actually fought each other.
Ortiz v Whyte Joyce v kownacki Gassiev v Chisora Ajajba v Hunter Pulev v Povetkin
Gee wouldn't that be fun
Lucas Ramirez
I agree, this could have been the best era in heavyweight history for entertainment and yet we are going to get sod all
i guess you're the user who is always spamming weird negative posts about the klitschkos'. that is hardly the fight to pick as an example. lewis was clearly getting the worst of it all fight and was totally gassed out as a result of being fat and out of shape. he's pretty lucky that such a deep cut ended the fight
Hudson Davis
shut up
Hunter Foster
spencer is terrible though, back to the mosque with you
Ruiz Jr is better than people think. Sure he won't beat Joshua, or be a world champ, but he's a dangerous dude he's one of the fastest heavyweight today and a pretty good boxer, he gave Parker a run for his money in a fight he arguably won. And Parker is another short skilled dude with fast hands.
Robert Ross
A lot of people either don't know or mention it but Parker had a short camp for his fight with Whyte. Parker had put on weight after the Joshua fight and the 7 weeks was draining him to get into fighting shape. Even if they don't have to make weight these guys still put on weight and need time to get back into prime fighting shape. Parker had 11 weeks for Joshua and dropped 30 lbs in weight.
Eddie himself has said he wouldn't let Joshua fight Wilder with an 8 week camp, which is twice as long as whoever is going to substitute has.
Wyatt Long
Parker's hands are fast for about 2 rounds the guy gasses twice as fast as other HWs who for the most part have shit stamina as well. Ruiz I just can't take seriously having a competitive fight with Parker will probably be the highlight of his career
Brody Lewis
Espinoza is so salty (this is referring to the Khan-Crawford ppv)
I must be the only person on planet earth that likes his shtick He's a mega-homer that loves boxing who engages with the community often, what more do you want out of someone fairly important to the sport
Kayden Martin
Some of his tweet are intertaining, but for the most part he's just one of those delusional/salty kids that like to behave as if he's the smartest person alive.
Now nobody can honestly say he wasn't ducking Loma, what a fucking bum. Glad his career's been flushed
Isaiah Hill
because he's not a cheater like miller
Zachary Anderson
I fucking wish they'd just do Loma vs Campbell for the vacant belt instead of wasting our time.
Isaiah Morales
the absolute state of olmec head lmao
Kayden Rivera
Lopez/Campbell, then?
Jason Murphy
That's a good fight. It'd be nice if we could get Loma vs Comney in between.
John Watson
I knew this was happening and I still don't get it. Prograis is a dibella guy that would beat Mikey Taylor is a free agent (???) that would probably beat Mikey Ramirez is with TR and that fight would never happen Hooker is with DAZN. I think Mikey would beat hooker and could happen but I think Eddeh would want serious options on Garcia to make that fight. Is he staying at Welterweight? I don't see anything for him at 140
Luis Sanders
Really I'm just happy for Campbell. He's a nice guy about to earn big money now
Caleb Carter
Mikey pissed away his entire career so far who cares what he does now
Leo Ross
He's already confirmed he's staying at welterweight.
The thing is, Mikey doesn't actually realise how much of a bum he is.
Benjamin Williams
Mikey's greatest achievement was probably becoming a unified lightweight champ without beating one of the 5 best fighters in the division Exposed one of the worst world Titleholders in boxing history and finally gave a lanklet his first official L
Connor Perry
>Every fucking "Champion" has a massive undefeated record fighting nothing but bums great "sport"
Lol Mikey is such a BUM he can't even comprehend it
Sebastian Reed
He obviously didn't duck Lomachenko. Bob Arum never wanted to make that fight, it just wasn't going to happen after the legal battle the two went through.
Crawford and Lomachenko both fucked themselves by signing with the most spiteful old fart in the business. Now they'll be crushing cans for the rest of their careers before fading into obscurity.
Christian Hall
>t. El chicANO Loma has literally been chasing Mikey up in weight but loma has fought the best at each weight and Mikey is fighting bums. One guy has proven he wants to fight the best and give his all in every fight, one isnt
