based boomer delusion

nobody gives a shit about your steroid pastime

>noone gives a shit
>Colombia has an entire baseball league

that nobody watches or cares about

>only 4 teams in the league
Holy shit haha

I honestly didn't know there are baseball leagues in Europe. Let alone one that spans France, Germany and Czechia. They must make zero money, how do they cover travel expenses?

>Colombia has an entire baseball league
Ok...
Do you not realize that almost every country has a league for almost every sport?

Indeed. For example my country has a rugby and a cricket team but those are irrelevant.

>we have a boreball league
lmao, even women's football has more fans, first time i've heard about it

Pakistick BTFO

MLB expansion when?

>ABL

fuck scousers

Get your own league, bums

>LMB
For me, it's LMP.

Didn’t soccer overtake baseball as the third most popular sport in the US recently?

The future is cricket, old man.

Baseball is an incredibly fun sport to play but its commercialization killed it, unlike the NBA and the NFL. It's not an inherently flashy or exciting sport and thus doesn't have 10 second snippets of excitement that can be packaged conveniently to appeal to the highlight culture. A good play in baseball is someone making a diving catch or a double play, unlike soccer where a good play is dribbling around a few players and placing a ball perfectly for another player to meet after a perfectly timed run. The latter is easier to package as a highlight. For an analogy, in baseball the excitement is more akin to a slow-burn spy movie like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, while the NBA is like Jason Bourne, soccer is like James Bond.

For me it's ABL

what sport would John wick be then?

LOL not even close, soccer is way behind hockey at a distant 5th

>bragging about your sport's viewing experience being 95% advertisements

bro thats kinda cringe...

4.8 million registered players in the USA, but no, nobody cares about it

2017 World Series was fun, but other than that I simply can't give a shit.
The sport just doesn't have an athletic or skilled display that makes me wanna watch any of the regular season games. Not to mention that most of the time nothing happens. I guess is more fun when you know who the batter and pitcher are, they're strength and weakness, how will their match up be etc..
Koshien was fun as hell tho.

for me? it's Johan Cruyff

I think most ameriburgers don't necessarily say that for damage control. Alot of them are unironically basement dwellers that have no idea what goes on in US since like the early 00s. Hence the boomer meme

Hockey

hey retards, kids play it at like 4 and 5 to get exercise before moving on to tee-ball

>implying
As opposed to divegrass, where you are presented with ads for 90 straight minutes?
>"i-it doesn't count if its on their shirt or the sidelines or next to the score on the screen or shown during replays!!!"

that's a bad example famalam, yes there's logos fucking everywhere, but your attention is on the players not the fucking sidelines lmao

>watching the adverts and not the players
100% American

>I'd rather have my viewing directly interrupted than have the players wear a company's logo
amazing point as always, mutt

Would you rather your friend wear a Nike T shirt, or stop you every few minutes and interrupt your conversation to talk loudly over you about the latest deals at your local Hyundai showroom?

How are they registered players tho?

>Doesn't know baseball is a front for the global cocaine trade

Kys boomer, here let me tie the rope around the neck for you, fucking boomercuck.

baseball is history. pesäpallo is the future

Europeans figured out ads way ahead of Martshatters, our ads are both less disruptive and more memorable, as in great club seasons are forever linked to the sponsor on their shirts for that season

>i brag about jew owners making tons of money on my back, therefore my sport is the best
top kek

>Boreball
>Your league's five biggest markets and cities have relevant teams

Oh wow, shocker.

Do you realize how many people live in the States? They are probably 4.8m pro YuGiOh players in the US. It hardly means that it's got much capital here.

No one cares about these boomer sports. Esports is the future.

I’m a registered player and I haven’t touched a soccer ball in over a decade

You say this like it's a bad thing?

So which league has the best logo?

It already is. Japan and Korea are its de facto 2nd/3rd division

wtf I love baseball now

Pesäpallo: Finland's Faster, Action-Packed Version Of Baseball

wbur.org/onlyagame/2015/07/18/finnish-baseball-pesapallo-brian-costa

Soccer is the third most played sport behind probably Football and Basketball, but that's because almost ever kid plays soccer and then stops when they reach puberty to do the aforementioned sports or hockey/lacrosse. Baseball players stick to that sport almost exclusively from when they're little.

The best exemple of the irrelevance of baseball I. FRANCE is that international fédération propose to full pay a 10 000 places stadium for the Olympics in Paris Suburbs if they accept baseball as a demonstration sport (it was really important for them because Japan and USA Olympics will have baseball so having 3 times in a row would guarantee base to be permanent).

And even with that proposition, France refused.

Wow...this is peak American retardation.

No one gives a flying fuck about Baseball here other than Ameriboos who like to fantasize about Route 66, muscle cars and the countryside, not realizing how shit all three things are for the most part.

Baseball is slowly growing here but it'll never become main stream because we already have cricket here and its more ingrained in our culture than any other sport.

unironically netherlads is by far the best cricket country outside of real cricket playing nations like anglo ones + south asia. you guys have had some crazy upsets in the past and one of your batsmen (an actual dutch guy) actually was a fairly world class player kek

i hate soccer as much as the next guy, but this is completely retarded.

is this pesäpallo thread?

>And even with that proposition, France refused
I am not the biggest fan of baseball but with so many stupid sports in the olympics, having baseball wouldn't be so bad

some people like playing it but nobody likes watching it

games are too long, and usually the demonstration sport is something relevant to the host country. for example when we hosted the olympics the demonstration sport was australian rules football.

Based and redpilled

Reminder you should REALLY be watching mexican baseball.

The only high level pro American football league in the world is bigger than each individual major soccer league in Europe? No shit, sherlock.

Lets extrapolate that. 400M Americans = NFL = $13B

France 67M + Germany 89M + England 55M + Spain 56M + Italy 60M = 325M (Still smaller population than USA)

So, Ligue 1 ($1.5B) + 1.Bundes ($2.8B) + 2.Bundes($550M) + Premiere ($5.3B) + Championship ($1B) + La Liga ($2.2B) + Serie A ($1.9B)

= $14.25 Billion, still with a smaller population base, and not counting every professional soccer tier in that population base. Adding Ligue 2, League 1, Serie B, La Segunda, Serie B, etc probably add another $1 Billion or so to the mix.

No, but it should be.

USA population is 327 mil, you reddit spacing retard. Plus USA has 3 other major sports leagues while europe only plays soccer.
