not a city customer but let's be honest here, llorente's goalis invalid, the ball clearly bounces off llorente's arm then lands on llorente's hip. when the referee checked on VAR he had only on angle available to make his judgement

He checked three different angles

whats he supposed to do, stop his arm from existing?

Then he’s even more of a fraud. The ball clearly changes directions twice on his body.

Never touched his arm Pierre

Quite simply put, you are wrong.

It clearly clipped his wrist, but it didn't change the direction of the ball or creat an unfair advantage because it hit his hip 0.001 seconds later and no City player was ever going to get in the way to stop it if his arm were not there

Under the new rules that goal wouldn‘t have stood. But these rules aren‘t implemented yet

I saw him check for a long time an irrelevant angle for too long, while the side angle clearly shows the ball hits the arm first

no, that still makes it an invalid goal

oh it totally did, i'm too lazy to find a webm of it but it's sure as fuck the arm changed the trajectory of the ball

It's less about his wrist than his elbow. It influences the direction of the ball toward the goal. We saw that the ref didn't even see this angle

Fair enough. But he is actively moving his arm away from the ball in that clip. That's ball to hand and a valid goal

Anyway it's simple! if the referee is told to check VAR it's because the guys in charge of VAR think the referee missed something and his given the chance to change his opinion to "make it right"

i think the austrian user is right, there is handball but the intention isn't here, but in the future it will be a disallowed goal intentional handball or not

To be fair he tries to keep his arm near his body and it didn't really change trajectory, besides he didn't even saw the ball, that 100% valid goal

He was pushed from behind. His arm was directly against his body. If it hit his stomach instead of his arm it would have been the exact same outcome.

>people still mad despite VAR clearly showing it hits his hip
This is becoming very pathetic now lads.

>the ball clearly bounces off llorente's arm
You are an idiot, which I suppose is expected from a frog.

Could it have hit Llorente's arm? Possibly. Was it clear cut? No. I don't expect a moron like yourself to ever understand.

>Was it clear cut? No
So what's that then >You are an idiot, which I suppose is expected from a frog.
How ironic

Again, not clear cut. Idiots like you are so braindead you can't even comprehend the meaning of "clear cut".

Keep voting Macron, it's what idiots like yourself are programmed to do.

OH NONONONO

It could have been called as a handball but it's really borderline, Imagine if he did it in his own box, would it be a penalty?

Your moms ass bounced off my arm and then landed on my hips several times last night

why are aussies so mentally weak? they always act like hysterical women

>waaaah the aussie was mean to meeeeee

>VAR keeps making great decisions
>faggots still mad about it

if you think that's intentional handling you're a brainlet, simple as. what's the new rule going to be?

why are anglos so hysterical when you see us? that's some profound mental ownage

City have earned the right to be refeballed as they've been gaming the system for years. Just karam innit

any handball will be handball, so this goal would have been cancelled. for penalties now, automatic pen if there is handball if the shot was on target or if the hand moves toward the ball if the shot is not on target

new rule says he needs to use his arm to make his body bigger, which he wasn't doing since it was tucked in
it definitely clipped the arm but it was not deliberate and didn't really affect the ball's movement. i mean the spirit of the rule is just to stop people using their arm to gain an advantage - he a) wasn't trying to handball it and b) didn't gain any direct advantage from the fact it clipped the arm. it wouldn't be at all fair to disallow it

>didn't really affect the ball's movement.

Lmao imagine having unlimited amounts of money and going out to spurs

Spurs that spent 0 this season.

doesn't matter. you can even score with your arm as long as it's not judged to be intentional

kek what are the french like when we call ligue 1 a farmers league. You all go apeshit

No player can jump for the ball with their arm away from their body, just asking to get called for hand ball.
With this in mind he jumps with his arm tucked into his body. About 2 yards in front of him the ball is deflected off the head of walker and clips his arm, still tucked into his body.
Llorente did everything possible to minimise his arm and made no attempt to play the ball with his arm. Currently having arms is still legal in football (although next year any contact at all even without intent will be handball) so under the letter of the law this is a goal.
