>still makes the wrong decision
but he didn't though

it clearly hit his arm before his thigh you can see the flesh on his arm ripple

>wrong decision

Tottenham's first goal was an "eh good enough" type of situation, it obviously hit his arm slightly before his waist.

so what? his arm was by his side, and he was shoved from behind to boot. he had little say in the matter and if his arm had been somewhere else it would've gone in anyway.
disallowing that goal would've been an awful decision
have you ever watched this sport before? are you an american on a proxy?

ure stoopud

if you hit the ball into the goal with your arm it's ruled off automatically

Handball is subjective (for this season atleast, next season it won't)

Offside isn't subjective

Seethe harder.

according to whomst?

the rules

[citation needed and won't be provided]

Go ahead and prove that by citing the rules you refer to you mong.
It will be like this in the future, but it is not the case this season.

Not this year, bucko

Yea it should be but I don't think that rule exists. Like if he was a defender who blocks a shot its never hands for me. But since it heads into the goal I would see this as an unfair advantage through the use of you arms/hands therefore cancelling the goal. But that's just my gut feeling.

>we just need De Ligt, De Jong, Pepe, Mbappe and Messi and we've got semis locked down next year

It's true that we saw the replay the ref saw, and this angle wasn't part of them

its whoever is more popular in america, shits rigged just like nfl, var helps justify it

I agree with this but I'm stil happy oil money loses yet again.

>not knowing the handball rule

nice one mate

Where is he supposed to put his hands though?

Why would they rig it for spurs not city?

his arm is pressed against his body when the ball hits him
no hands

good question
I give you a hint:
J _ _ _

I agree but it clearly influences the direction of the ball and it's still the arm..

Well, Rio Ferdinand is claiming it was a handball. And he's an ex-pro. And paid to give insights on BT Sport. And supposed to know the rules.

He is retarded, by the way. Literally.

nah it was tucked in as much as you can jumping. the final touch was on his thigh which was what actually changed the trajectory of the ball. although the arm did glance the ball, the ball would have landed in his thigh anyway. i could see people argue otherwise but it was the correct decision. this ref did really well overall

I dont get what you fuckers are seeing. In both replays I saw it deflect off his waist but not off his arm. i dont see any way you can clearly say it touched his arm, jist that it flew past it.

wrong call, he was obviously calling the algerian dutch city faggot

Refs did an absolutely perfect job this week even though they needed some VAR assistance and people are still mad lol.
I guess people will always seek out refereeing as an excuse

jong?

Reminder this piece of shit carried porto to the quarters

Attached: fergie.jpg (1325x855, 168K)

how can anyone defend that call?

should've spent the money on the ref and not the players

because that screenshot has been deliberately taken at the wrong time. another millisecond later when the ball comes off Silva's foot Aguero is offside.

i thought var was only to reverse clear and obvious errors
handball wasnt clear and obvious error so should stand as a goal
offside wasnt clear and obvious error so should have also stood as a goal

Offside is objective

they technically have """perfect""" ways to see if it was offside or not. Obviously that won't stop them to do whatever the fuck they want but still

Go to bed, it will feel better when you wake up

>i thought var was only to reverse clear and obvious errors
you thought wrong

How did yuros manage to take such a simple concept as instant replay, name it into something gay as fuck, and still fuck it up this hard?

yeah, he made the wrong decision, and it was overturned by VAR

Nothing was "fucked up" friend. He broke a rule before scoring so it was disallowed.

i dont remember him going to the screen for the var offside either

Return to /nfl/

VAR wont let me score a goal from off side position...
WHAAAAAAAAA!!!
