It would be a horrendous PR move to let him go with no replacement in sight for a some draft picks that will likely bust.

you guys have heard of the xfl and aaf (rip) but have you heard of the pacific pro league? its another new league slated to start in july 2020 its founder is don yee, who many of you know as a high profile agent. one of his clients is tom brady its supposed to be a 4 team league that goes from july to august. the league owns the teams rather than individual owners. it offers players 50k + community college fees of tuition and books for 1 year. its an interesting concept. everyone talks about a spring league but a summer league isnt often talked about so it doesnt really compete with the xfl. it has some overlap with the preseason though any thoughts
