Wie ich vor einigen Tagen berichtete, war ich der Meinung, ich müsste mir zumindest ein Spiel des HSV in der zweiten Liga antun, also war ich am letzten Wochenende im Stadion. Die Beschreibung des Spiels konnte jeder Leser dieses Blogs „genießen“, ich für meinen Teil stehe heute noch unter Schock und unter dem Eindruck dieses sportlichen Desasters. Tatsächlich aber bin ich nicht allein. Seit knapp 7 Jahren betreibe ich nun diesen Blog und seit dem Jahr 2000 gibt es in Hamburg das neue Volksparkstadion. Bedeutet: Mein Vater besitzt seit 19 Jahren eine Dauerkarte. 22B, direkt über der Uhr. Ursprünglich waren es mal zwei Karten, aber irgendwann blieb eine auf der Strecke.

Mein Vater liest übrigens, genauso wie meine Mutter, meinen Blog und in all den Jahren, also spätestens seit 2014 habe ich meinen Vater nicht davon abbringen können, auf seine geliebte Dauerkarte zu verzichten. Was habe ich auf ihn eingeredet, wie auf einen müden Gaul. Du unterstützt die Misswirtschaft auch noch, du wirfst diesen Losern auch noch Geld in den Rachen. Antwort war eigentlich immer die Gleiche: „Ach, das wird schon wieder besser. Außerdem bekomme ich diesen Platz nie wieder, wenn ich ihn einmal hergebe“.

Gestern nun erklärte mir mein Vater (80), dass er seine Dauerkarte, die er seit 19 Jahren besitzt, an seinen Sitznachbarn gegeben hat, er wird in dieser Saison kein Heimspiel mehr besuchen. Er wird sich auch kein Spiel mehr im TV angucken und er wird in der nächsten Saison zum ersten Mal seit fast 20 Jahren keine Dauerkarte mehr kaufen. „Die kriegen keinen Cent mehr von mir“. Mit anderen Worten – was ich mit meinem Blog und meinen Argumenten nicht geschafft hat, hat der Verein nun ganz allein geschafft, mein Vater hat die Schnauze voll. Nach mehr als 60 Jahren als Fan wendet er sich vom Verein ab.

Warum das wichtig ist? Warum wohl ändert sich bei diesem Verein niemals etwas? Nach der letzten Bundesliga-Saison und dem lange angestrebten Abstieg waren viele, auch ich, der Meinung, dass sich nun endlich etwas Gravierendes würde ändern müssen, die Verantwortlichen müssten doch nun endlich einsehen, dass sie so nicht weitermachen können. Schluss mit dem Dino, Schluss mit dem Scheiß-Lotto-Lied, Schluss mit den immer gleichen Fehlern. Und was passierte? Nichts! Der Abstieg war plötzlich nicht mehr das Resultat jahrzehntelanger Misswirtschaft, er war ein Betriebsunfall. Und warum? Weil immer noch 40.000 bis 50.000 hinrennen und sich von diesem Fussball foltern lassen wollen. So lange dies so ist, wird es für die Verantwortlichen keinen Grund geben, eine echte Veränderung herbei zu führen.

Nicht mir mir und nicht mit meinem Vater. Ich bin sehr stolz.
