In the North American league most USA players are in, this is a goal no question. It's the pussified IIHF that can't seem to grasp the concept of ice hockey being a contact sport. This result is sad for all involved. This impacts both teams, the finns who feel they won and the Americans who know they lost

Basically the Finnish player cuts into the zone with speed, heads to the net and puts a shot on the USA goalie. The goalie puts out a rebound off her chest so the ouck is loose. The Finnish player is then seen skating for the loose puck while the USA goalie comes out to try and freeze/play it. The puck being loose it eventually bobbles to a Finnish player who is trailing the play and she puts it into the net. The call was technically goalie interference but the goalie had almost vacated the crease and the contact also came outside the crease area. To add the confusion, the ref apparantly had a delayed penalty on the USA so the whistle shouldn't have gone unless the American regained possession. Very unfortunate for SUOMI and several American players including the goalie have already liked and retweeted tweets in favour of the finns triumph
