Time spent working out, eating properly, practicing is this attempt at filling the available slots for pro athlete. However, there still is an equally extensive and intensive list of things that one trains for the TV personality. Time spent forming connections, time spent reading, writing, interaction with other and development of personality etc etc. These are things that are harder to collect data on but they are still something that is done. Now, someone can be forming these talents without consicously doing it. Later they will find out they spent loads of time developing these things and then say they can become SAS. But just because they weren't trying to become SAS all along, doesn't mean they weren't training their whole life to become him
