is it worth asking here if ive got any newbie questions relating to taking up boxing?
Carson Walker
>good fight lol no it's not.
Daniel Diaz
Yes, there are several pros here on /box/.
Thomas Roberts
why do i get the feeling youre not perfectly serious there?
Joseph Barnes
lol
Ryder Myers
There actually are a few according to what they say, but I dont know how often they post. But a lot of people here train anyway
Joshua Mitchell
be warned, /box/ is filled with plodding manlets. take any information with a grain of salt.
Robert Johnson
good to know
basically, im a recovering fatass who hasnt fought at all since they were a kid and has basically never done a day of sport in their life. i dont plan on getting into any fights, but the fact that i cant fight for shit bothers me, it means that if i ever have to throw a punch for the sake of someone else im probably gonna get my shit kicked in, so at some point i need to learn how to fight. im also in my mid 20s. what should i expect if i go to join a boxing club or something, and what should i know? is there anything i should do first? ngl im pretty weak and unfit, working on correcting that but bad habits built up over a long peroid of time are hard to kick.
another related question, can i actually take up boxing without worrying about losing teeth or getting a broken nose? i expect a little bruising but ngl i kinda cant get away with having a fucked up face for various reasons.
Robert Mitchell
>can i actually take up boxing without worrying about losing teeth or getting a broken nose? bite down on your mouth guard and your teeth will be fine. the nose may go though, depends how slicc you are.
anything i can do about it to keep a pretty girly face lookin good for the guys?

/box/ bros get in here. Let’s discuss fight night

Dominic Watson
why is AJ such a fraud, bros?
Thomas Jackson
Stole belt off bums except grandpa Wlad
James Scott
Your teeth will be fine your nose will get busted sooner or later. Boxing is an excellent sport to take up if you're not in shape. No offense but you sound like a pussy try and find a gym that's somewhere between "boxercise" and "gang members drinking between rounds" . just a regular gym, give them your money show up everyday and do what they tell you
Also watch old fights, you'll have a whole new appreciation for the sport once you know how bad getting hit hurts throwing punches combos moving etc
none taken mate, im keenly aware of how painfully fucking weak i am. doesnt help i kinda like the dick tho and i sell myself on looking cutesy.
is there nothing i can do to mitigate that?
Isaiah Mitchell
post pics if youre so cute
Dylan Nguyen
hit up the cuteboys slut thread and search for "i fucking wish" not saying im the prettiest guy that ever lived, but ive got enough to work with as is
Logan White
They make headgear that will cover up your nose you could wear that. Honestly dude unless your nose is BADLY broken it's not that noticeable and besides you're not trying to ice each other in sparring its not that crazy
Brayden Nguyen
Stop giving this literal mentally ill tranny attention.
not even a tranny senpai, just someone caught between different wants.
Jackson Thompson
Like I said, don't give it attention. Attention is all it wants, you feed one of its kind attention, and all of a sudden you got an infestation. It doesn't care about Boxing.
not for its own sake, but for responsibilities sake i need to m8. being a faggot is no excuse for being a useless fucking pansy and sooner or later ill need to do something about it.
cheers for the information and desu the reassurance tho guys, ive got people telling me im daft for even considering it and its not like they dont have a point.
Bentley Smith
You can't just post this and not post the source, user.
which boxers wear glasses? Do they wear contacts in the ring?
I just got a prescription and now I feel ill never become the ibo supermiddle champ of the world due to my below perfect vision
Ryan Hughes
LMAO good to see another (((gay))) /cuteboy/ getting into boxing. I started a while ago and honestly, it depends on your own physiology. My nose has never particularly hurt during sparring but my lip gets busted all the time. If you don't know, then you won't have to worry about that kind of stuff for a minimum of 2-3 months, and also you can just ask the other guy to go easy if you spar.
>california once again proves it's the state of faggots lol pathetic.
Leo Diaz
It's over for men in 2019. Full stop.
Aiden Mitchell
Top rank has taken so many L's this past month. I'm tempted to bet on Khan beating Crawford.
Adrian Rodriguez
Why not bet on Crolla too
Hudson Rodriguez
Maybe they'll both end up looking bad like last time.
Parker Peterson
>Pulev metoo’d >Shakur going to prison >owe 500k because you fucked up Crawford’s contract >Lithuanian guy exposed >Conlan going nowhere >pay Tyson Fury millions to clown around against bums >Loma will redislocate shoulder hooking round Crolla’s high guard
is this the end for Bob?
Robert Hill
There are people that post on /box/ whomst think women should be fighters and commentators. There are even people that think Jermall Charlo is an elite middleweight. Sad!
Hudson Jackson

Nah, just another heavyweight who name drops Ortiz but will ultimately duck him

W-what board would that be in?
Ayden Myers
>Pulev knocked out Pulev on March 23 you can say this isn't really an error.
>is this the end for Bob? He'll never be done, he always has something to save him
Jason Baker
It's looking dire. Crawford has no good opponents and yet he's still getting paid millions. By the time Spence-Crawford gets made, Spence will have all the leverage and Crawford will be 32-33. They dropped tens of millions on Fury despite him being a non draw in the US and could have a mental breakdown like last time. Bob also has to compete with the UFC on his own network.
Cameron Stewart
trip on, proxy off kippers
Joshua Peterson
>Bob also has to compete with the UFC on his own network. More of a good thing. Like last week they had a ufc card before the fights, I'm sure many people watching the ufc fights tuned in to watch some Ukrainian they had never heard of
Nolan Collins
Jesus Rigos chin is made out of complete glass lmao. That left hook that graised him wobbled him.
Jace Garcia
That's the bad thing though, they had the perfect lead in and who did they put in? Some no name lithuanian that even a semi hardcore fan knows little about and a ukrainian fighting some french african bum. Both fights weren't crowd pleasers either. The UFC is probably going to vie for lead in spots as well and they'll be given priority over Top Rank.
David Lee
I think they were expecting some showcase kos. Especially after Gvozdyk made Stevenson a vegetable
Levi Myers
There's no way they would have got 850k people watching Gvozdyk without the UFC and as you said the cards don't live up to it. There were a few people coming into this thread under the assumption that if it's after UFC we must be talking about it and it must be important
Even still, putting kavalauskas vs robinson first was a terrible idea. No guarantee of a ko. Literally only there so he can justify feed him to Crawford later. It shows how few american names Arum has and how reliant he is on his crawford and loma. Also the Top Rank card started pretty late because of the UFC. They're losing their primetime availability.
Both of his 2 "stars" have only produced great numbers from lead in shows. Crawford is so bad on the mic it will be very hard for them to market the ppv. The success of the ppv must be affecting the future of top rank on espn. The ufc will no doubt be able to put in consistent ppv numbers.
Kayden Walker
ESPN are gambling big with the UFC and fronting them PPV revenues equal to 500k buys a show.
Brayden Bell
I think I can fuck up Shields with my bare hands.
I practice MMA for 7 years now, boxing in parallel for 6 years, I could. Not to count strength training at the gym for 4 years, 6 ft 1 1/2 for 189 lbs.
I have an insane speed, reflexes similar to my speed. I just have to wait for her to charge me, dodge her attacks, and throw good punches to her head. I won't stop, and at the smallest mistake she does, Shields is finished.
You'll always have virgins from here thinking that it's impossible. First, nothing is impossible with will, my friends, and 2) that's not with your weak ass bodies that you'll do anything. Any man with a minimum of training can beat Shields with a knife anyway. With bare hands, that is not necessarily more complicated, it just requires technical skills.
Matthew Hughes
we'd know who you were if you were any good. shutup weekend warrior also what the fuck is all that reptile looking shit on her ass fucking gross
Elijah Jackson

Claressa has Steve blocked when he’s been promoting her fight lol
>Unprofessional >Proceeds to respond to everyone in the comments saying anything about her Don't think she can say that
Jayden Russell
Think she realized how dumb that was and deleted it. Or her managers told her to.
Daniel Fisher
I genuinely want to see what her IQ is. She has to be the dumbest athlete in this sport.
Isaac Myers
She's salty over him putting the bikini comment in his article and has it in her head he wants Hammer to win, I don't think he's bothered just said Christina had a good sense of humour
Kayden Wright
Steve Kim hasn't liked her ever since she got mad at him for calling her out on that Dirrell Uncle assault.
Tank is probably the reigning dumbest boxer in the sport but claressa is up there
Gavin Stewart
She always has a victim complex about herself or her race. She can't see fights objectively. She thought the Broner/Mikey fight was a draw and she complains when a black fighter loses and blames the ref/judges. Kim's article was pretty harmless, like you said. But she made it all about herself. Doesn't help that most of her followers buy into bullshit as well.
She said in one video she'd knock "racist Kovalev" out, and I don't think she was joking there either. Even unprovoked she mentioned before how she's "greater" than most male boxers because she won two gold medals.
Thomas Torres
Women really can't handle banter. What's most pathetic about the whole thing is that Shields was the one who started with the bikini comments and Hammer just shot back.
Matthew Torres
Tank and Broner are tied. That's why they love each other
John Fisher
why is this demographic so stupid vicious and insecure. there's no other demographic i can think of that immediately demands someone lose their ability to make a living because they don't like something. They're like retards stuck in an adolescent phase
Elijah Hall
>there's no other demographic i can think of that immediately demands someone lose their ability to make a living because they don't like something
Don't want to bring politics into this, but there's a certain group involved with "outrage culture" which do thing. A video game developer or someone involved with television said a thing from 10 years ago or did something harmless and you would have Twitter blowing shit up and brigading to get someone fired.
Landon Turner
Prime Pac flushes Floyd
Jacob Hill
She's been watching a lot Brit bums for this one to slip in
What are we PC here now? Davis and Sheilds are a SPECIAL kind of nigger Baltimore and Michigan especially produce some A+ retards, the kind that give black people a bad name. Don't leave shakur out of it either another moron
She's not the dumbest athlete, she's just the most personally active on social media, which exposes her retardation even more than others. Imagine what guys like Broner or, fuck, Gervonta Davis of all people, would be saying if they exclusively ran their Twitter accounts and were on that shit anytime they weren't in the gym.
Women can't resist social media though.
Chase Parker
Shakur isn't close to Davis and Shields there, what the fuck are you talking about? He's regularly calling Shields out on her bullshit.
Meanwhile these White journalists are saying shit even dumber than highschool dropouts who get their heads bashed around for a living.
Colton Ortiz
Shakur beat a guy senseless on video just the other day
Landon Powell
I believe an article said it happened last June or something but yeah you're right

So what? You never got into a fight before?
Hunter Foster
What he did makes him at least an impulsive idiot. While I don't give a shit about if hitting women is right or wrong he must have known he would get in trouble regardless for doing it?
Gavin Allen
Yeah sure, there's always a risk you'll get in trouble if you fight someone. Who cares though? It's not like it's going to stop him from Boxing.
>Hitting a dude who is getting all up in you and your boy's face is suckerpunching Yep, you've probably been in a fight, only you got your ass beat and cried about "muh fairness" like some /heem/let.
Also did the jannies really ban you for saying the n-word or did you did you delete that yourself?
Thomas Anderson
Wrong. Caleb Plant AKA Sweethands will BE the future undisputed SMW champion, bet the house on it.
Disney fired James Gunn from Guardians of the Galaxy 3 because he made some dirty jokes on Twitter like 8 years ago. They rehired him like a year later because the cast was pissed.
And Twitter got Kevin Hart to quit from doing the Oscar's because he said something about gay people years ago
Michael Evans
Can we really call them """"people"""", though? Especially the cringeworthy autistic LARPer who pretends he's from LDBC
Joseph Kelly
Getting into a fight like the one shakur was in 5 minutes after walking out of a strip club in front of a security in a fucking parking garage is some dumbass nigger shit my man. If you think getting into street fights like some retarded hoodrat scumbag is some kind accomplishment like you're a tough guy or something you're a dumbass bigger too
That’s a valid question. If we are talking about the same guy (not sure), he seemed way too heated in defending charlo to be considered a LARPer.
Carter Wood

Canelo's got a month to lose 8 pounds. Is that difficult?
I feel like some fans don’t realize how intelligent a boxer Terrance Crawford is. It’s always “Yea he’s pretty good but pfffft who did he fight bro???...”....seriously, just analyze his fights, he adjusts BEAUTIFULLY to any fighter, you guys have to watch the YouTube video Terrance Crawford the complete boxer. Idc if he has not fought a huge name yet, he is clearly a masterful boxer with the ability to go 12 with anyone. I think the fact that people rate Loma higher than him at all is ridiculous, it baffles me. Loma may have fought a couple good fighters and have a pretty good resume but he lost to a mediocre fighter and in no way is so much better than Crawford that he should be the p4p with only 13 fights and a loss at that. Him and Crawford are 1 and 1a if anything right now , with guys like Spence, Usyk, and Canelo at their heels.
Caleb Myers
Really shit match for a first run at heavyweight. Carlos won't bring anything that Usyk isn't used to, they should have picked a physical challenge even shit Martins, Schwartz or something. Breazale would have been perfect, to get him used to bigger and stronger guys.
Daniel Robinson
Probably because they had to move it to the 25th to avoid clashing with Wilder
Jason Morales
>Idc if he has not fought a huge name yet, he is clearly a masterful boxer with the ability to go 12 with anyone That's why he shouldn't be P4P #1 you brainlet. He's not even the best in his weight class.
Liam Sullivan
I agree. Fighting someone older and smaller than you at a new weight class is pointless. What does Takam have that can even be remotely troubling for Usyk?
Should have put him up against chisora or price. All the faded brit heavyweights. Make him into the brexicutioner
Chase Hall
Why is the Loma loss considered so detrimental to his resume, reputations and all ? He went all in for a championship fight after only one pro bouts, while the norms is to wait at least 20 fight with careful step up.
Otherwise i agree, but besides shitposter everyone knows Crawford is legit , and honestly Crawford resume is underrated.
Juan Hall
>God damn it Carlos, I've told you to stop trying to make AJ trade on the inside
Alexander Fisher
it's a good opponent for Usyk to get him ready for povetkin
Nathan Davis
Seeing it again makes me seethes. It was his time, he probably trained hard in case Pulev pulled out, being the guy who went 12 with Joshua would have raised his stocks for his next match. But Eddeh needs to gift his fighter a 100% KO ratio.
Christian Parker
Do you think the people who have rated TC as #1 P4P for the past +2 years will drop him down after he goes the distance with Amir Khan?
Thomas Lewis
It's not that easy to make fights, ranked fighters won't want to job themselves out on the cheap to Usyk, Povetkin turned it down. Charles Martin is worse than Takam and is with PBC he wouldn't take it, Breazeale is fighting Wilder, Schwartz hasn't done anything so if you just want a tall boxer you're talking about people like Mariusz Wach. Takam is 245lbs and ranked in the WBC top 15
Jaxon Green
EYE CARRIEE POWAH LAD
Jose Brooks
reminder that aj wasn't hurting or even outboxing takam at all before one of shittiest and worst british stoppages of all time
but before that I trained in my friends garden who's also a boxer and he already had his first fight that helped a bit - it was hard as fuck
what should you expect? a lot of pad work, lot of sit ups, push ups, burpees start with sit ups and push ups at home and maybe running / swimming for cardio before joining a boxing gym
losing teeth is almost impossible if you have a mouth gard
the more experienced guys in my gym always get bloody noses but they go all in I only got bruises, that's it
>A more important date at present moment for Kovalev is April 19, which is when the three-time light heavyweight titlist will learn whether enough evidence exists to proceed to trial for charges stemming from an alleged incident last June in Big Bear, California.
>Should the case move forward, formal criminal charges will be filed against the boxer. If found guilty, Kovalev faces anywhere from two to four years in prison.
>By that time, it will already be determined when and where his title defense versus Yarde will take place, although a trial for alleged felony assault could complicate any such plans to fight outside of the United States
>you have a bout here that style wise is Ali Frazier

>Eddie Hearn has confirmed that heavyweights Michael Hunter and Filip Hrgovic will both appear in separate bouts on the undercard of Usyk vs Takam, May 25th at the MGM National Harbor. This is shaping up to be a /kino/ card.
Ryder Gonzalez
Fishnet's daughter is way hotter
Adam Flores
Fitting that Hearn is promoting the american equivalent of an overhyped britbum
I agree, but Usyk himself doesn't have a choice. Hearn made this fight because it's the best scenario for himself, and he can easily defend it by saying "It's Usyk's first fight at Heavyweight! This will be a tough tough tough bout!" because the casuals don't know any better.
Julian Ross
>Make him into the brexicutioner Good one.
He doesn't need an opponent to get him ready for Povetkin. Huck took on a prime Povetkin for his first ever fight at HW and almost won, Usyk would beat current Povetkin if that was his next fight.
He broke AJ's nose with a nasty butt and went for it. He was gonna get caught at some stage though since AJ was getting a 2nd wind after drowning most of the fight
Hudson Carter
>instasave >downloaded an app so he can hoard pictures of skeezers
>he was gonna get caught at some stage though And? Are you saying it's okay since "he wuz gonna get ko'ed anyway"?
Austin Turner
His first one on American soil. Or who's on the SSR/Estrada card?
Juan Ward
Chisora killed this meme anyway Usyk doesn't have a pick a mix at heavyweight since he isn't a big enough name. I'm sure he'd have love to fight Breazeale but Whyte couldn't even get that fight
Anthony Howard
>AJ was getting a 2nd wind after drowning most of the fight That's what everyone says when their boy loses. McGoober fans will forever say this about the Floyd fight
Tyler Powell
He's not Shields promoter, Dmitry Salita is and the fight is on Showtime
Luke Adams
The ref made up for it by sacrificing Takam to Chisora
I don't think Conor has had a single 2nd wind in a fight ever. He just gives up
Jayden Gutierrez

garcia is a homo though everyone already knows that
David Gray
He had nothing to come back from in that fight. You're clearly new to watching anything related to fighting
Dominic Bennett
SSR vs Estrada is kino as well. The undercard is the unification between Daniel Roman and TJ Doheny and Jessie Vargas vs Humberto Sotos, which isnt exactly world level but it should still be fun to watch
Oliver Price
Would really appreciate it if you guys ceased mentioning the WWE's 2nd division. Thank you for your time
>Jessie Vargas vs Humberto Sotos Should be a comfy fight between some Mexicans
Adrian Johnson
>That left hook that graised him wobbled him.
that was not a "graising" punch you maniac. that was a solid check left hook that almost landed just a little bit too high to be on the button. and it was thrown by donaire. and by "wobbled" i guess you mean he that he was immediately able to throw a much stronger straight left
you can't throw a perfect straight left in 0.1 seconds while you're wobbling. or else the term loses all meaning. you're actually managing to confuse slow-motion punch impact with wobbling
rigo's chin deserves to be considered suspect but my god are you a retard and that's why i had to type all that out. here are the amazing highlights of that fight which include that exchange: youtube.com/watch?v=t6ZIqQwlFWk
>Over the weekend on a Top Rank card broadcast on ESPN in Philadelphia, there was a power play drama going on to which few were privy.
>According to someone with direct knowledge of the incident, veteran ESPN writer and TV commentator Dan Rafael had been banished for this event to the auxiliary press section—a most unaccommodating area, especially in a small venue like Saturday’s, reserved for lesser-known scribes and fringe websites.
>The always status-conscious, seating-conscious Rafael balked at being seated amongst the riffraff of the lesser media, sans table for his laptop and, especially, sans the privilege of being front and center as an ESPN correspondent. He complained to ESPN people, who accommodated him by allowing him to sit in their production seats.
>However, right before TV started, Top Rank bossman Bob Arum spotted Rafael in a production seat up front and issued the order to have Rafael sent back to the auxiliary press section.
>Instead, the rotund Rafael, dragging along his bruised ego (and, presumably, a shopping cart full of snacks and soft drinks), went to the ESPN TV truck and reported on the card from there.
>So, why was ESPN’s lead writer intentionally humbled at an ESPN show?
>The only apparent answer is that Rafael displeased Arum with two unflattering recent tweets—one reporting on the dismal TV ratings for the Top Rank March 23 card headlined by Kubrat Pulev and the other taking a direct shot at Arum’s hypocrisy for the aged promoter’s public call for a Terence Crawford-Errol Spence bout.
Wyatt Murphy
>“…Fights aren’t made on social media,” Rafael wrote via his verified Twitter account, “they’re made behind closed doors in private if sides actually want to make them…Top Rank has no top opponents for Crawford to fight, hence the apparent desperation.”
>It was an unprecedented ballsy statement made by a man who got to the top of the boxing writing food chain by not making waves and by dutifully passing along promoter talking points via re-worded press releases made into news stories. Only Moe Howard could make a bigger case for being called “King Stooge.”
>Arum, apparently, didn’t take kindly to this Twitter sideswipe and hit Rafael right where it hurts most—right in the ol’ press credentials, a holdover weak spot from when Rafael was just a regular scribe without a 5XL ESPN blazer and bigshot salary.
>For those of us who ARE boxing media or who pay close enough attention to what the boxing media does, this Arum-Rafael anecdote is not surprising at all. It’s also not an isolated incident.
>Promoters have owned the boxing media since, well, pretty much forever. And climbing the boxing media ladder has always been a function of quid pro quo dynamics. Bartering access to fighters, events, and strategically “leaked” insider info for positive, salable marketing content is part of the business. Those writers who play the game well get more traffic, greater name recognition, and the better gigs that go along with both. Those who ruffle feathers by refusing to play the game, on the other hand, get nothing but a hard time and a real battle to make a buck.
Kevin Lopez
>Only a handful of boxing writers make a living from boxing writing and in the absence of real money, access becomes the currency of the business. Just a gander at boxing writers’ social media pages and their proud displaying of laminated press credentials will tell you how important status symbols are in an industry where actual money is hard to find.
>In this atmosphere, is it any wonder why the business is filled with apple-polishers, glad-handers, and fanboys who crave face time with their favorite fighters?
>Back in 2015, when several boxing writing big shots were refused credentials for the Mayweather-Pacquiao mega-fight or forced to view the fight from auxiliary press seating, a huge hissy fit ensued. David Avila of The Sweet Science even penned a cringe-worthy “manifesto” vowing to never again cover “Mayweather Promotions or Premier Boxing Champions, and any events promoted by Floyd Mayweather or Al Haymon.”
>The reasoning behind the mass media hysteria was that since the boxing media “made” Mayweather and Pacquiao stars by reporting on their exploits, they deserve to be treated well by these guys. But if this is all about delivering publicity for fighters via news coverage, as these guys suggest, then promoters are well within their rights to weed out the publicity they don’t want.
>As I wrote in my piece on the subject, Revenge of the Nerds (Hell Hath No Fury…):
>“If there’s a quid pro quo when it comes to boxing media coverage—and, obviously, there is—then what happens when the promoter decides that he simply doesn’t want a certain writer enjoying media privileges while ****ting on all those involved in an event?
>...I am 100% against promoters and fighter management using media credentials as a way to reward or punish media, but let’s not pretend that this is a game that doesn’t go both ways.
Camden Murphy
Based Bob
Jacob Wood
>Promoters frequently cultivate cliques of friendly media sources who are rewarded with unfettered access to fighters and live events. Promoters even prop up certain websites with financial support in a wink-wink, unspoken barter for favorable coverage. Certain writers are wined and dined by industry people, taken on sightseeing junkets, and treated as semi-quasi-celebrities by glad-handing industry big shots. Sit down with any savvy boxing insider and they can draw you a flow chart of which writer is in which promoter’s pocket, which writers are openly searching for industry sugar daddies, and who is trying to parlay their reach and journalistic reputation into a back-end money deal for themselves.
>…This is the world that the media created.
>It’s a world where media members serve as publicists in exchange for favors and/or money and/or access and/or the type of support a writer needs to stay afloat in the business.
>It looks absolutely ridiculous for this media to cry like prissy teenage girls when they suddenly find themselves excluded from the game they helped create.”
>As for Rafael and this incident with Arum, specifically, the veteran scribe has yet to issue even the slightest peep of a comment about what happened with his subliminal dressing down in Philadelphia. He knows he messed up. He got the message. And, if he’s the same man he’s always been, he’ll make sure to not step out of line again.
I dislike Fat Dan as much as the next guy, but hes in the right for calling out Kike Arum and his schisty Jew ways, and its literally Dan's job to report on things like viewership. Arum is obviously pressured to all hell, im glad that the UFC is beating his ass in viewership.

>notorious weight bully (especially early on) >absolutely humiliated by mayweather >outboxed easily by lara >runs scared from golovkin for years >then loses to him twice (despite age advantage) >got schooled by khan before the inevitable KO >proven steroid cheat
if saul wasn't a mexican superstar with golden boy then he wouldn't even be rated. let's take a look at some of his very impressive wins: >old mosley >old cotto >a wolfeless kirkland >josesito lopez >liam smith >rocky fielding >chavez jr. >austin trout there's a reason that fans of wilder and alvarez only meme and act ridiculous here. it's because there's no way you can genuinely defend their resumes. it's just a lot of knocking B-level fighters "the fuck out"
Evan Powell
Old man George beats any current HW
Logan Thompson
foreman-fury would look a lot like klitschko-fury
Liam Walker
those fake tits are trash. she would have been perfect without them.
why do women do this shit?
Joshua Howard
dude, diaz is 6ft and a natural welterweight
conor is 5ft8 or so and a featherweight
Charles Smith
coz of men?
Alexander Lopez
Imagine being this much of a petty bitch lmao.
Jonathan Rodriguez
>austin trout trout is a good fighter, my dude. he gave canelo trouble too.
Aaron Bell
He was robbed.
Brody Price
She is dating some random twink who is ducking Chavez Jr's challenge to box against him for 3 rounds. Nicole is a thot and isn't worth leaving your family over.
Brody Nguyen
just saw frank warren retweeting a go fund me for James O'brien really gone down in my estimation honestly
Nathan Lee
Why are Mexicans the best fighters?
Nolan Flores
fuck you talking about
Justin Williams
>Seething this hard over GGG.
Nicholas Sanchez
Jacobs will end the Canleto meme
Nathaniel Edwards
>pac vs the GOAT Thurman >Errol shook vs porter
There will definitely be an undisputed champion within the next year
Camden Moore
Debatable if they are but they have depth in numbers and care about the sport
where do you r8 claressa shields p4p? I'd say she's top ten if she beats hammer
Luke Long
The reality of women's boxing that these boxing writers don't understand is that Hammer and Shields are inherently bums even within women's boxing.
The weight classes above welterweight get progressively worse and shit even by women's standards. I mean, there's a reason why Shields started off at 168 before moving down to 160 when every other boxer in history starts lower and moves up.
Even Hammer sucks by women standards. She got exposed the second she moved down to 154 and faced an actual opponent.
They're both bums of the highest order.
Wyatt Lewis
I don't because i'm not a cuck who watches or rates female Boxing. lel @ the fact that women can be rated in the UFC's top 10 P4P.
Justin Powell
Right, only Katie Taylor matters
Cameron Morales
Tyson Fury is a bum that is lucky Wladimir had a bad day.
Michael Gray
All heavyweights are bums. Oleksandr is coming for them
>trout is a good fighter, my dude >he gave canelo trouble too absolutely agree on both counts. but it's telling that the fight is one of his best wins. it goes to the point that clenelo is not an all-time great. he has come up short in every one of his most challenging matches
i totally understand why plebs rate him so highly though. it's because he's been the cash cow for a while now and so every fight gets ridiculously hyped
Ethan Carter
Its because he's a rich Mexican. I mean for gods sake El Chapo is a national hero there
reminder that prime foreman would lose badly to all top three heavyweights
Ethan Gomez
I just watched all of anthony joshuas first fights >throws autistically fast 1-2s at the 40 year old fat plodding opponents high guard until the refs stops it
Mason Howard
All heavyweights are bums. And they've blacklisted The Champ™
That's unironically a really good thing though. Every single day baranchyk says nothing it looks more and more like a blatant duck. He has been paid now fight or be stripped
Ryder Jackson
good post
Isaac Allen
Excellent
Henry Rivera
Based. Baranchyk's manager is a prick
Jeremiah Fisher
Two time IBO champion
Jason Ramirez
based Lomachenkle
Adam Barnes
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it
Nathan Perez
Can I get a quick rundown on The Push?
Grayson Robinson
a bodybuilder with a tiny skull got emasculated by a strong african slave fighting for his freedom. some say he is still shook even now
Lucas Rodriguez
Probably the biggest moment in boxing history. It changed the whole trajectory of Anthony Joshua’s career and completely ruined his psyche
Charles Lopez
Prime Foreman walks straight through all of them
Nathaniel Jones
wow big based baby cannot wait to see that fraud aj get clocked
Xavier Lee
Think I got an IBO belt under my bed
Connor Thomas
Prime Groves beats Froch
Leo Baker
some fat fuck pushed the GOAT AJ will heem him flat
If AJ's bodyguard wasn't there to catch him, some say The Push would have sent Anthony Johnson flying across the Pacific across Asia and across the English channel all the way back to his flat in London. Who knew Big Baby could be so frightening. Joshua might be too scared to even enter the ring in June.
WHat happened to Degale? Did the Badou Jack fight ruin him?
Hunter Green
Yes
Christian Powell
Can anyone argue that the IBF ISN'T the best sanctioning organization out there? They don't give a FUCK who you are. Fight your mandatory or you get stripped.
Eli Wright
Some say it wakes him up every night, has to call Eddie to calm him down
They don’t get that from wall sits, most girls don’t even do wall sits. They do squats, pelvic thrusts, hip abductions and a bunch of other squat variants and ass workouts.
Austin James
Why do boxers shave their chest?
Isaac Bell
Idk, maybe they have to, just like most times they have to shave their facial hair. could also be a factor when you're close to making weight? Idk just guessing
A win over Amir Khan gives Crawford the best win over all welterweights not named Manny Pacquiao
Andrew Watson
>10 KDs inside 5 rounds that was pure KINO
Cameron Hill
>be 19-1 >get dropped by a solar plexus shot >continue to get destroyed by a guy with the early 2000s gambling ad drawn on his back Patryk if you're reading this might be time to hang it up before you get killed bro
Easton Hill
How long do you think before Bob's latest batch of prospects get exposed
Jason Moore
he announced retirement in post fight interview kek
>"there's nothing else in england..." >"they have darts championships"
Jacob Brown
BASED
Luke Bailey
Who Spence beat tho?
Leo Howard
4 knockdowns each, fight was stopped in the 5th
Kayden Martinez
Damn he sounds punch drunk. Bowe tier shit
Isaac Brown
Dominating Mikey is a better win than whatever Crawford will do to washed up Khan.
Thurman has a better resume than either Spence or Crawford.
Mason Hughes
Yeah saw that on twitter. I'd like to see the translation of his post fight interview. Good for him realizing it's better to hang them up even if he's young
Ayden Moore
Thurman is irrelevant, he's SHOOK Won't fight Spence, won't rematch Danny or Porter, he's just looking to fight Pacquiao for the ppv money, even though he said in interviews in the past he'd never do one
>Miller weighs only 328 pounds 2 months out AJ is a fucking dead man walking
Brayden Phillips
how many bongs to loma undercard??
Chase Sanders
Dominating Mikey is like taking out the trash, it was expected. Spence beating Brook was more impressive even though Brook has half broken.
Michael Robinson
At least 6 days worth, you brainlet
Jack Carter
He said before fight that if he lose this one he's gonna retire. Then postfight he said that he had good camp, gave it all but it still wasn't enough and he might stay around in the boxing world but not inside the ring anymore.
Kayden Taylor
It was 5 each actually, fun fight.
Mason Flores
Spence was generally expected to win, but lots of people thought it would be a close fight. Totally shutting out one of the top 20 P4P guys is still impressive, even with the size advantage. I know it's popular to shit on Mikey now, but it's a solid win for Spence.
Ryder Anderson
>says objectively true shit >w-wow guys bowe is brain damaged
Jacob Rivera
The black skellington is commentating.
Grayson Garcia
*currently winning for the 42 time* who can stop him?
Yes if you fight defensively. Eventually the punches accumulate swelling your face and you'll end up with a a more masculine face.
Jacob Phillips
may/ourguy/ foughy yet?
Adrian Sanchez
That helps you learn to keep calm under pressure.
Parker Richardson
depends what you mean by "take up" boxing. what levels are you going to compete at? white-collar? amateur? semi-pro? or are you just looking to get fit?
Justin Lopez
So triggered.
Lincoln Collins
do we talk about bareknuckle here
Adrian Carter
no, everyone competing are former MMA fighters
Aiden Martin
>I have the whities this buttblasted Does what I say strike a chord perhaps cuz it's true?
not really looking to compete proper, obviously ill be sparring at the local gym and looking to improve wherever i can but the main goal is to get to the point where i can win in a hypothetical fight with some random cunt on the street.
theres one dude in particular with a bit of fighting experience i might wind up in a scrap with at some point, but i dont think theres shit i can do to realistically win against someone my age with a lot more experience than i will be able to accumulate in any sensible amount of time.
as long as you are sparring with people you trust you should be able to hold back enough to not break a nose outside of a random punch. you wont lose teeth if you have a good mouthguard.
Caleb Williams
Maybe if you're bum plodder Ryan Garcia is the biggest twink in boxing and he's still good looking
does he get hit often? because i sure as fuck will
Sebastian Phillips
>does he get hit often? because i sure as fuck will
Brits weren't meant to box. Stick to darts.
Jordan Bell
>does he get hit often? no, but you'll probably be sparring better competition than he's ever fought.
Jace Phillips
anything more than £30 is a ripoff.
Connor Diaz
He's been boxing pro for 3 years with an 18-0 record and was a pretty accomplished amateur as a child having won a couple tournaments so yeah I would say he's been hit pretty often. Much more than you ever will so you're good.
Nolan White
Hey bros. New to boxing.
What do they mean when they say Prime Pacquiao?
Nathaniel Hall
Pacquiao vs Cotto
Noah Diaz
>What do they mean when they say Prime Pacquiao when he was filled to the gills with steroids. but even that wasn't enough to save him.
This they mean he was drinking ariza milkshakes everyday
Kevin Williams
With great power comes great responsibility. You must not abuse your natural ability to make the lomaslurpers seethe.
Jayden Cook
im neither drunk nor fat enough for that

Charles Davis
God I wish that were me.
Samuel Lee
Man, MMAnlets always tell me that MMA fighters only look like they don't know how to punch because punching stance in MMA is different to defend against takedowns and kicks, but i'm looking at this bareknuckle boxing event with nothing but ex-MMA fighters, and they all don't know how to punch. I think MMA fighters just can't punch, hence why McGoober only threw arm punches against Floyd.
Alexander Thompson
Random folk are easy to beat with minimal training. It's better not to fight though.
Chase Hall
He won't look like that in a few years.
Matthew Peterson
Oscar's still a good looking guy for his age. Idk why he's getting hookers that try to blackmail him
Adam Bailey
The britfag is going for a feminine look. Boxing is counterproductive towards that end.
Jaxson Rivera
i dont really wanna beat anyone, but duty is duty
Charles Gomez
That's because tio oscar keeps him fighting 40 year old mexibums. If he fought tank or some other high level fighter his face would get rearranged
Thomas Gray
That's some Ippo shit, Really good rivalry they had, Pacquiao is probably very frustrated that in their first match the fight wasn't called after he knocked Marquez out 3 times in Rd1. - would have stopped a rivalry from even forming.
