FIFA World Cup 2026

How pumped are you about World Cup 2026 hosted by USA- Canada- Mexico. It's probably gonna be the most watched sport event of all time.

O Hepta...

You mean Hexa.

It'll be a clusterfuck because three teams automatically qualify as hosts. It's got insane travel times and it's just a mess. We all know it's about money. It's why FIFA wants Qatar to accept another nation hosting games, probably Bahrain or Oman or UAE. Come home boys... ;_;

cant wait for stadiums to overcharge for nosebleed seats or tickets will be sold out instantly and youll have to buy everything from scammers for 200% markup

I don't care about soccer but tourist dollars are tourist dollars. Also, I live in North Jersey and I'm pretty sure that MetLife Stadium is hosting a game, so I might end up watching a game in person anyway if I can afford it.

Nice to have it close to home but I'd still rather go to a Bong-hosted WC. Don't know how it's been so long since the last time they did

one world cup to go please

You wont

Why does the US need another two huge countries to host?

Neither will you unless you feel like shelling out for a plane ticket and hotel, for me it's as simple as buying a ticket (although they probably cost a fortune) and driving 15 minutes

I'm not up to watch sixteen Disgraces of Gijon.

Exaliftin

It's a good reason to visit the US, I always wanted to drive coast to coast.

Hexa in 2022.
Hepta in 2026.

Looking forward to games at 2 to 6 AM

Then that makes 2030 England and 2034 Brazil?

If FIFA somehow bans VAR in 2030, then yes.

They probably realized that they got squeeze out more shekels somehow. Anyway you can't really complain since Azteca is based. Canadian stadiums are shit though. especially Edmonton chosen as a host city. The finally should honestly be played in Atlanta because that stadium is top 5 in the world, but they're going to have it in bumfuck nowhere New Jersey.

I doubt americans will have problems for paying for tickets. Group stage games are basically pocket change based on your salaries.

This is by far the biggest pain in the ass. During 2014 Brazil I was NEETing it up and could watch comfy 4am games, I am not sure I will in 2026

It won't seem bad to us since we already pay $100 even for university games but to someone outside the US who never pays more than 70 Euro to a giant rivalry match, it will seem absurd. And you have to pay for flights, hotels, probably a car rental. It will be horrendous.

when we hosted the copa america a few years ago, you had to pay upwards of $90+ for the worst seats in the stadium for literally who games
