>tfw my dad has 0 gray hairs or signs of baldness in his 50s
feels good 2bh
Pretty sure his hair was just long before
>24
>grey temples
i didn't deserve this desu lads
You can inherit baldness from your maternal grandfather as well.
My moms dad died with a silver mane. My dad said he started going bald at around 21. He had thin black hair while my mom has thick brown hair, same as me.
Finally, I didn't lose the genetic lottery. Chalk up one point for this guy here
So, is he going bald or is it just a mature hairline? My hairline looks the same
his hairline is normal
it is horribly unkempt though, he really should get a haircut
Mom has curly hair.
My dad has a silver mane, thick brown straight hair as a kid.
His dad had a silver mane, thick brown straight hair as a kid.
I got my dad's hair and thought I was safe.
Until I turned 27.
Everyone thinks they're untouchable until it gets them.
Nah, he is obviously balding from the front sides. He is missing 2-3 cm of hair, his hairline is going back. I am in similar position to him
From what I've read and heard throughout my life, The commanding gene that dictates hair loss is your maternal grandmother. Was your mom's dad bald?
Come on man, LET ME HAVE THIS
*maternal grandFATHER
My mom's dad died at 27 so we will never know but from pics he also had curly/wavy hair.
My hair is straight as an arrow and thick like my dads so I don't really buy into the commanding gene stuff.
What adds to insult is that all through my life hair dressers have complimented my thick hair like "wow a girl would be jealous of this hair texture" etc
I thought I was bulletproof.
In hindsight there were early signs of temple recession, but it really started happening at age 27.
that's a myth. like any trait it can come from any side
My hairline started receding at 14 and my hair has always been very very thin
>Everyone on Dad's side has full head of hair until the day they die, start greying in their 40s/50s
>Everyone on Mom's side goes bald by 30
Who /nervous/ here?
>Who /nervous/ here?
Not me, because it already happened lmao
the worst part about balding is balding, once you're bald you just easily live with it. you just cope with it. such is life. I wanted to be Goku I ended up being Krillin
>tfw you'll never go bald
feels good man
all my family's got a head full of hair
my only bald relative is the husband of my aunt (not a blood relative) so I'm pretty golden, only worry is greying early but oh well. You get some you lose some

Of course, Life isnt black and white and there are tons of grey areas when trying to predict your genetics. But since researchers have determined that male baldness MOSTLY comes from your X chromosome (from your momma) than that can be a good indication.
Yes theres a chance anyone can go bald for whatever reason. But I'm just trying to make an educated guess. Stop trying to kill my dreams
greying is a sign of maturity, it's only bad if you have baby face and can't grow a beard
greying can be very aesthetic
t. baldie
not yet!!!! fingers crossed!!!!
that's one advantage of being indio
>tfw bald
guess I'm fucked then
post scalp
