who is neymar

Why does Messi's opinion mean more than anyone elses?

It doesn't. If anything it means less, because he's an autistic little fuck

Why doesn't it? He's the GOAT

Alex Ferguson thought that Moyes would be a good manager for United. Discuss.

He understands more about football than an austrian autist who doesn't have a job and lives off gibs.

>people can't be wrong
wewe (wewe)

My point is that being great at something and being able to recognize that talent in others is not the same thing. There's a reason why a great player like Michael Jordan constantly drafts awful players, why most great football managers weren't great players; there are many examples

Recognizing how good a player is as a player and recognizing how good a manager is as a manager are two completely different things.

Yes, and being a great player doesn't automatically mean you can recognize that in players, otherwise no one would say Ronaldo is the GOAT

>and being a great player doesn't automatically mean you can recognize that in players
It does when you're the greatest.

So why would he put Ronaldo in the top 7?

Also, the fact that all the players in this list are forwards means I can trust his judgement on how good they are.
>So why would he put Ronaldo in the top 7?
Because Ronaldo is undisputed top 7?

That's just one reason why you can't trust it. With so many positions on the field the fact that the 7 best players would all be forwards is preposterous. What's more likely is that he's letting his forward bias (from being one) affect his judgment

>With so many positions on the field the fact that the 7 best players would all be forwards is preposterous
Would you really trust Messi's opinion on Kante, VVD, etc. ? He doesn't play their position so he has far less authority on how good they are, coupled with the fact that he doesn't even face them regularly.

But that's exactly my point. We can't trust his opinion

You can on what his top 7 attacking players are, and attacking players historically are typically the most important.

griezmann is going to bench him next season la

>Mbappe

Cringe

So then he should say "these in my opinion are the top 7 players"

>New Zealand reading comprehension

He didn't say attacking players, or forwards, just players

And attacking positions are typically the most important.

Why the fuck do people think he actually excluded Ronaldo alongside himself? Listen to the interview, he completely forgot Ronaldo

That doesn't mean they're the best. van Dijk is a better player than Mbappe and especially Suarez. The fact that he put Suarez there just goes to show his bias

>That doesn't mean they're the best.
Hence why I said you can trust him on what he says for the top 7 attacking players. And like I've said twice before, this is accurate enough for an "all-position" top 7 given how attacking players are generally the most important to their side.
>The fact that he put Suarez there just goes to show his bias
Then why include Hazard or Mbappe, I'm pretty sure they're not friends

58:30

Messi, exlcuding you, who would be the best player(s) in the world?

>I don't know, Ney .. Mbappe .. Hazard... Suarez... Kun ... I probably forgot others but today I think these players can easily be the best in the world

and then the interviewer mentions that he forgot a #7 (siete)

at 58:53 you can hear Messi laughing because he realizes this, then he has to cope so as not not ass-blast the entire media and twitter following. He doesn't give a fuck about Cristiano or think of him as good.

Putting one friend on the list doesn't make your whole list tainted. But are you going to seriously argue that Suarez is currently a top 7 player in the world?

Yes he is. Why do you think he isn't?

Griezman just got cucked by Cerezo who said he wont leave and doesnt want another summer long transfer drama

Because his form has been shit this season? Cavani, Lewandowski, Pepe and Salah have all been better, and those are just forwards

But Ronaldo is the next Zidane. Unexposable as a player and manager.

Why do you consider them better than Suarez?

Because they have more goals + assists, more dribbles, more key passes, and none of them are old + fat like Suarez

And you complained about Messi being an autist?

>And you complained about Messi being an autist?
Did i?

Obsessed

you imbecile from the far away world, the more talented a kid is, the more forward their coaches play him.

So it makes total sense that attackers are the best players in the world, it's always been like that

>goals + assists are all that make a player good
Literal brainlet arguments here, lad. Barcelona are built around Messi, and Suarez executes his function as the supporting striker to perfection, and he's been doing this for years. Put any of those players you mention with Barcelona and the team would be out of harmony as a result. Being able to link-up effectively, hold on to the ball, great off-the-ball movement, etc. are all things you can't find in stats.

Here's the top player for big chances missed from each of the top 4 leagues. Salah has 15 big chances missed, Pepe has 13 and Cavani 7. Play them or any of the players in pic related next to the GOAT and no shit they'll look like peasants in comparison. See: Argentina NT

Are you an american on vacation by any chance?

So he's a great player because he has good chemistry with Messi? I mean if your chart is something I should use them it clearly shows that Lewankdowski is better than Suarez, which still invalidates what Messi said

You conveniently ignore my point about Messi making others around him look average because of how many big chances he makes. And Suarez plays in a stronger league.

How the fuck does Messi make the players around him look average? If anything his immense chance creation makes them look better

He creates too many big chances in relation to a normal playmaker, that's my point. As a result it looks like the striker is wasteful, when in reality no striker would be able to finish every single major opportunity that comes to them.

Add to that the pressure of playing with one of the greatest ever, every chance missed is a stain on you.

THE ABSOLUTE STATE OF GRIEZMANN

hahaha get fucked you insignificant worm, the GOAT doesnt rate you

actually he forgot ronaldo

one is an explosive, opportunistic striker, the other was god-tier playmaker, tactician. If he tries (I doubt it) to be a manager he will be exposed.

I'm gonna miss their rivalry when they're gone since nobody has stepped up to take their place yet

If he's autistic about football (as in, having a mental retardation which makes him not understand human emotion or reasoning to focus on one aspect: football), wouldn't that his opinion MORE worthy, not less? Because it is about the one subject covered by his autistic expertise :DDD

Moyes did much better than Mouyes and Van Gaal though.

Probably not. Messi once said Walcott was the most threatening player he ever faced at some point. To me it's more like he chooses the first names that comes to mind and he just says them because he doesn't give a fuck. I'd bet the only thing he still cares about besides playing some footy and his family is giving Argentina a WC so they can shut up forever and stop annoying him.

probably a reason he forgot to mention Cristiano or Griezmann

Moyes was a good manager, fullstop. mouth breathing manure fans drove him out because he wasn't a superhuman like ferguson who can deliver the title with a squad of rubbish other than RVP because the team basically willed itself to a title season to send him off because they basically ignored defense and went full swashbuckling man U aggressive football and the other top sides had subpar seasons.
