Signs of a fake fan

Signs of a fake fan
>Wears shirts from events where the team lost ie. a Rams "fan" wearing a Superbowl 53 shirt
>Can't name 100% of the starting roster
>Can't name pretty much the entirety of the entire roster
>Has never been to a game/match of the team in question
>Is friends with a fan of the arch rival team
>Can't explain in detail the ending results of the previous 10 seasons
>Can't explain in detail the last time the team won the championship for their sport (if applicable)
>Doesn't watch a vast majority if not all games from team
>Doesn't watch all playoff games from team

Anything else?

Niggers who have gear from other teams.
Faggots who cheer for athletes on other teams.

“Oh no im a Warriors fan, I have been for a few years now! How about that Stephen Curry huh? Klay Thompson is also very good too!”

The real fake fan is the one that gatekeeps fandom, you dont need to be obsessive and autistic about your team to enjoy supporting them, nor do you have to ruin social relationships with people because they dont like the same team as you.

There are different levels of fans, just because some dont meet your standards doesn't make them "fake." There are other things to enjoy in life. Just because my dad doesn't have the time or inclination to watch every game of our team, doesn't make him not a fan. Hes followed the team for over 40 years. If he wants to watch Billions instead of the game, fucking let him. When fandom becomes an obligation, it's not fun.

fake fan detected

Real supporters don’t wear merchandise like replica shirts/jerseys.

An American.

>not rooting for the development of local talent or talent from the country in question
>not being from the same country or area as the team

How does that make the gatekeeper fake if anything they would be too serious

>having any respect for the team or players from the team that beat you in your only champions league final

>Fake fans anonymous:
Hi, my name is user
>Hi user!
I am guilty of being a fake fan
>Confess user!
I can't name most of the niggers on my favorite team
I don't give a fuck what is going on with trades in the off season
I only watch my favorite semen-slurping sport when real life isn't getting in the way
I own a uniform, but unlike other faggots, I only wear it in the privacy of my own home as I would not be caught dead wearing sport memorabilia outside my house unless I was attending an actual game

I am admittedly a fake fan :(
I admittedly have a life :(

This

niggers are always bandwagoners. right now all niggers are warriors fans, while a couple years ago they all were heat fans.

>Can't name pretty much the entirety of the entire roster
>Can't explain in detail the ending results of the previous 10 seasons

That's autism user.

>americans talking about fake fans
top lel

>signs of a fake fan
american flag 2bqhwuf

being a 'hardcore' fan is kind of yikes
like it's just entertainment, stop taking entertainment so seriously, it is just a game
maybe put some of the effort wasted being a literal cheerleader for another bunch of men towards actually playing sports instead

>amerifranchises talking about fans
top jej I bet you don't even own shares in your club and vote in elections for the club president

>Is friends with a fan of the arch rival team
this is utterly retarded, childish and is pretty much impossible because arch rival teams are more often than not local

Real fans have to enjoy the local cuisine.

>Wears shirts from events where the team lost ie. a Rams "fan" wearing a Superbowl 53 shirt
Actually this is a sign of a true fan if it is worn ironically

This shit hurts considering warriors games would sell out when they were dogshit but since they've gotten good bandwagoners and techies have made tickets unaffordable. Hell, you could get tickets for 20 bucks 7 years ago.

/thread

If they're having fun they're a fake fan. Being a fan of a team isn't about fun, it's about relief from the suffering and pain.

this thread is making me hungry

Rich coming from a continent of bandwagons

>He can't be friends with someone who supports another team
lmao get a grip
