>Palka
>Sanchez
>Garcia
>not to mention Jay, Engel, McCann, Rondon, and Cordell on the bench/DL
That's 6 guys in this lineup that have nothing to do with the "rebuild". The White Sox were ready to spend "stupid money" this year. Why didn't they go get Adam Jones and Mike Moustakas on short term deals just to be a little more competitive? (I know why)
Sox are shook with dat speed
Fuck
Sad
Man, I love this team
CLOWN SHOW
Either one could have caught that
going to use this one a lot this year
my new and exciting image is officially out of date
so THIS is the power of white sox baseball
*commits an error
Why the fuck wasn't yolmer at double play depth there? That ball wasn't even up the middle, terrible positioning
god damn it
Is it because Jerry is a greedy mofo and Kenny and Rick are his trusty stooges and this whole rebuild is a sham?
BLOWOUT BOIS
Sun's out White Sox runs out
I enjoy listening to DJ and Farmio. Weird pair; good times.
Are the White Sox elite?
With a capital E
Jimenez looking great
Rack 'em
For the first time in a while I can say that this truly is suffering. The Royals aren't even supposed to be that good.
If any Sox fans wanna kill themselves quick this year just take a drink everytime a batter takes a first pitch strike down the middle.
keep running
If the White Sox had any shot at the playoffs this year, it was through their intradivision record - so it's good to know early on that they can't even beat the Royals.
nice
Tigers twins sox are a joke and Indians are a shell of their former selves
Can us royo lads win the central?
bustcada has yet to strike out this season, amazing
He had a ridiculously good ST too. I don't want to say anything yet.
ABROOOOOO
BASED JOSAVIOR
Abroo!
based abroo only good player on this shit team again
who's the chick in the sox dugout
YES
solid hit this time, nice
ayy
I don't get it
Something has been put on a board
is Elloy dare i say...back?
>Jibustez
I forgot Nate Jones was still on the Sox.
I don't see Nate being on the team much longer.
This "rebuild" is a sham. Most teams don't enter rebuilds when they have 5 all stars under affordable control for 3+ years (Sale, Eaton, Quintana, Garcia, Abreu) and zero bad contracts.
The central is full of shit meme teams so anything is possible
This is what you get with a reinsdorf owned team
btfo
all you faggots and everyone else on the internet was all in on this rebuild
which is why we're kinda mad
put that shit on the board
basedcada
>dingcada
Wew ! (but man both these teams are terrible)
I don't want to get my hopes up but man he looks good right now
what I don't understand is why Hahn was/is being allowed to try again to build a competitive team after utterly failing at it once already with a cheap controlled core
It's bustcada's breakout year! Finally!
I thought it was revealed that Kenny still had most of the control at that point, and this rebuild was finally all Hahn
If the season ended today at this moment the based royals would win the ALC.
not a fan but I picked him in a fantasy league and he's been the best so far
the whole ALC is fucking terrible. The Indians batting order is AA tier.
Same here he was super cheap
YO
YO
That's a reason to be happy bajp it means even the white sox could theoretically win the ALC
It'll make the steaks of this seasoning more interesting
Yeah, the winner of this division very easily could be a team barely above 500
yeah I had a feeling him and soler of the royals would both have breakout years. I also chose giolito, which may have been a mistake but top prospects have a better chance to bounce back
Remember early last year when for a stretch every team in the ALC was under .500? This could be the year
I always like drafting the top prospects after they bust, in general
yea, like 20 games into the season the indians were only 1 over 500 leading the division
but you are right though at like the 15 game mark they were all under 500
1981 royals the only team in baseball to make playoffs with a losing record. Until the 2019 royals.
Excited 4 this year lads
no, this was never fucking "revealed". Just a dumb theory that popped up online for no reason other than slurping hahn's dick because he made a couple of seemingly good trades, nevermind that they were only necessary because of his incompetence. Fans just trying to find someone to blame and Kenny was an easy target because he once signed griffey and manny ramirez for a million or two. Hahn's been the GM since 2012, everything since then is on him and there's no reason to believe otherwise. Going to be his 8th straight losing season, pathetic.
I kind of get why people don't like Kenny, his methods don't align with the prevailing thinking of GMs today, but you cannot deny that he got results. It's a fact that under him the sox had just 3 losing seasons in 13 years (only once more than 83 losses) and brought the first world series to Chicago in almost a century. He was working under the same owner and had the same crap drafting and development to work with also, partially the GMs fault but he made it work.
*since 2013 and 7th straight losing season
based, i remember going to a royals game and they gave us 4 ceramic coasters and one of the coasters was a celebration of the 1981 divion title. Ended up selling those fuckers on ebay, 15$ richer baby.
Is Jimenez the new bustcada?
>Just a dumb theory that popped up online for no reason
Kenny has said that Hahn needs his approval to speak to Reinsdorf. He still has a good degree of control.
new Beckham
and Hahn had a good deal of control when he was the assistant and Kenny was at the helm. what matters now is that the one at the helm is Hahn and the results have been pure dogshit, it's on him.
Ian Kennedy closing out the game, huh
Kenny, Hahn, and most importantly Jerry are all shit and all to blame.
Kek a celebration of the 1981 division title and they gave you it. The funniest damn thing with how baseball ran that year due to the strike is I'm p sure some teams that actually finished the whole 81 season off better than the royals still missed playoffs. Like the white sox.
Cause of the strike they took division winners from each half of the season. Starting 0-0 the second half and those were the playoff teams. Meaning the royals who overall had a losing record and were 4th place in the Al west at the time still got to go to playoffs since they won the second half of the year.
2 games, 2 false hopes
losah
Welp
good bad game royals
>its going to be a low scorer
People forget that between 1990 and 2012, the White Sox had the fifth most wins in baseball. Since then, they are probably bottom five.
