I know. I am too. I'm just still hurting from all the .394s and Swingin' Friars I knocked back yesterday.
Mason Mitchell

Nope. Why do you ask?
Austin Allen
Ok, a gun is put to your head and the person says he’ll shoot if you don’t pick the team you like most from each division. Asterisk your favorite team.

>to avoid getting shot, literally just pick one team from every division, regardless of whether or not you're right. Easiest thing in the world.
>someone made a new thread despite this thread existing NOPE

Nice baseball threads
Nathan Thomas
As a matter of fact, if you look at the squad, 3rd Base was a defensive vulnerability, so while it may not have been all of why they got him, it definitely was part of it.
And, if you still don't believe me, see Austin Hedges.
Carter Kelly
I'll search for "Team Name hat/cap, png" And if I still can't find one I like, I'll take one with a white background, and remove it.
Alexander Nguyen
it can't be an early thread if it's the only general up currently.
Zachary Davis
>third time's a charm Cliche'd sayings like that were just the memes of the 20th century
Joshua Harris
some asshat keeps making new ones without the 'general,' which isn't so big a deal but then he spams the shit out of threads that aren't his, which isn't so good.
if i want a non-baseball team is this the place to ask for it, or what
Levi Lopez
I mean, perhaps? Right now is honestly not the best time, because I'm wrapping up work for the week, but if you drop by next week, I might be able to work on something for you.
>general thread >full of reddit nazi frogs What a dumpster fire

OK so now that this thread has been established as the real one, aka /mlb/ general and not whatever fake thread snowflake cub anti-pepe general-hater wants everyone to use, post your walk-up songs (or pitcher warm-up songs)

you now remember former Cincinnati Reds closer Danny Graves
>Graves was born in Saigon [Aug. 1973] to Thao and Jim Graves, a U.S. Army sergeant, during the Vietnam War. >The family fled the country when Graves was 14 months old after they learned of the impending fall of Saigon. >After settling in the United States, Graves and his brother, Frank, spoke Vietnamese until teasing from classmates caused them to abandon the language.[1]

Pretty standard, I imagine
James Ross
Where can I read about pitch sequencing and general strategy in that regard?
Okay /mlb/ lets say I can throw a 200mph fastball with perfect placement every time. If my team goes up by 15 runs, what happens if I bean every opposing batter to the point of injury? Sure they all take a base, but eventually they’ll run out of players. If they run out of players before they get the winning run, does my team win or will I be arrested first?
Evan Long
I've tried this with MLB the Show before. Be the last pitcher out there so you can't be ejected since there's no other pitchers. Then set the injury slider all the way up and keep head hunting. Unfortunately the injuries didn't work as well as they should have and by the time it was 50something to 0, only 3 players on the other team had to get replaced and I was out of time so I said fuck it and quit the experiment.
Jaxon Thompson
You’d be ejected after the first one
Adam Torres
man I got really good at hits right up the middle and the amount of times I’ve slapped a 100+mph line drive into a pitchers face without injury really irks me
Kevin Powell
1) The abnormally high speed for a fastball is maybe 105 mph at the high end. If you're throwing 200mph, your catcher has to be replaced every couple pitches. 2) At 200mph, the batter would die, so you'd only get one. 3) Assuming you're slowing your pitches to 85mph after your team is up by 15, intentionally hitting a batter has been frowned upon for the last 20 years, and yes, what the other user said, you'd get ejected.
You think I care about today? It's march. It's not even April. I'm not even worried about April. Just wait until September when the real games matter. We're talking real, hard hitting New York Yankees baseball. The kind of stuff you watch, shake and tremble as you just get a small taste of what you'll be seeing in October. 100+ mph fastballs, 130+ mph exit velocities. Big dingers and massive runs scored. Our bullpen is the deepest in the MLB. Our starting pitchers are all aces. We don't have our eyes set on the playoffs as it is already on lock. We have our eyes on the 28tth ring. Don't worry, you'll be kissing it in November.
That's what I meant. You can tell which thread is for the adults because we're all just posting about baseball here, while the other OP is spamming this one out of butthurt.
There is only one true /mlb/ general.
Christopher Rivera
:( hopefully he will throw a no-hitter in his next game
I don't even know what to expect anymore. Like a fucking nuclear bomb hit /mlb/ or something and everyone just became a radioactive psycho or something. Maybe it caught /hoc/'s autism...
