Their heyday was in the 90s when they won Spring Koshien in 1994 and two Summer Koshien within four years (1997,2000). You may remember them from their epic choke in the first round to surprise quarter-finalists Ohmi. Surprisingly for such a storied team, they have very little successful NPB alumni. The only of note is Haruki Nishikawa (Outfielder for the Fighters).
