To do list on F1's game (codemasters won't gonna do it anyways): >Improoved lighling if not a new graphic engine >IA Drivers can change their team (Easter egg: RB can dump you to STR if bad perfomance til Hungary) >Better physics (f1 challenge has better ones) and damage models (fuck sponsorship) >Please put some personality on F1 drivers already (MAG more agressive, Ham ultra fast on Qualy, Romain crashing, AMD) >Helmet editor with the possiblity to put Teams sponsorship (Mission winnow, Estrella galicia, RB, Rich energy) >Press conferences

>Five-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton believes racism is a "very, very prominent" world issue and doubts it will change "for a long time".
>Hamilton became the first black person to race in F1 when he made his debut 2007, and has developed into the most successful British driver in the history of grand prix racing.
>Earlier this week he expressed support to black players of the England national football team who suffered racist abuse during a European Championships qualifying match in Montenegro.
>When asked ahead of this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix if he was startled to see the incident in that match, which has led to an investigation by European football's governing body UEFA, Hamilton said: "It's crazy to think that at this time in the world it's still very, very prominent.
>"It's really there, all round the world. Racism is still an issue, which is sad to see. It doesn't seem like it's going to be migrating much over the next years.
>"It's great to see people standing by in support. But it doesn't look like it's something that's going to particularly change for a long time."
>In 2014 Hamilton admitted he "tried to ignore the fact I was the first black guy ever to race in the sport" when he started in F1, before growing to "appreciate the implications".
Landon Mitchell
>Now, Hamilton has more than 10 million followers on Instagram and the biggest global following of any F1 driver, and has used that platform to highlight other global issues, such as the pollution of beaches and seas.
>Hamilton says he is trying to use his profile responsibly to be part of a process of eventually steering change.
>"I'm obviously in a privileged position, that I do happen to have quite a lot of power, particularly with social media," he said.
>"There are things that I see all the time, there's a lot of stuff that I don't post that I want to post.
>"You have to keep a balance, because I have older followers, young followers, and choosing what you do show and don't show.
>"There are so many issues around the world still today. There are some things that I'm able to put on social media that people can react to and create conversation."
>Hamilton said that from his experience, a sterner stance needed to be taken towards ignorance at a young age.
>"People just need to stand up for it more," he added. "I just remember being at school and when I was younger and you kind of get a slap on the hand and things are kind of let slide, and I don't think that should happen.
>"Action should be taken and people should be a lot stricter with it."
>For those of you who might know the F1® calendar off by heart, this will, of course, mean that game will be released during the Austrian Grand Prix weekend and, unlike previous iterations, ahead of the British, German and Hungarian Grands Prix.
>F1® 2019 has been in development here at Codemasters for nearly two years, making it the most ambitious release in the franchise history and launches on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and Windows PC (DVD and via Steam).
>“We are absolutely delighted to be able to release F1® 2019 earlier in the Formula 1® Season, so that the game can be played and enjoyed at the same time that the real-world championship picture is starting to form,” said Paul Jeal, F1® Franchise Director at Codemasters. “Our close relationship with Formula 1® has played a major part in achieving this key objective for the franchise. That in addition to our near two-year development cycle, has allowed us to develop some exciting new features and other firsts for the franchise that we can’t wait to share with our community in the coming months.”
I feel bad for buying my f1 2018 game >still very enjoyable obn careers mode

Hamilton is right. White people are the worst.
Nathaniel Jackson
I don't. I'm on my 4th season in career right now. On top of that I've driven countless online races, quick races against AI and done like 10 events with multiple tries each time. Well worth the money.
augurably it will be the racing game with the best career not that there's much competition nowadays

>can't see the lights >just take off when you want and tell the FIA to get fucked if they try to give you a penalty, coz it's their fault for mounting the lights in a dumb spot.
Extremely bad value, better off going to mickeys and buying 25 hamburgers, grabbing 50 packets of free ketchup and some salt packets then double slamming them with extra ketchup and salt

>“I think it’s terrible. This is not good for the sport,” Villeneuve added. “I already said that last year and I am not going to change my opinion. Formula 1 should be the pinnacle of racing, it’s the king class.
>“Then it is not good for the sport if anyone with a disability can participate. At least not in Formula 1, perhaps in other classes.”
Yeah but that's implying he is slower with his disability than without it, and if jacks willeenew is saying he's just a bad driver then I think there are way worse drivers on the grid to criticize
youtube.com/watch?v=p6QlGEO56pI daily reminder that gp2 had superb racing without drs and shitty pirelli tyres requiring lapping 10 seconds per lap slower than possible. and, as usual, i wish painful death to those responsible for introducing these awful artificial gimmicks, which destroyed real racing, fuck you all. thank you for listening.
Caleb Scott
To put it lightly. That's early 2000's Minardi tier.
>great racing >two thirds of the grid crashing at the first corner of the race Pick one
William King
phil hill was pretty good
Asher Sullivan
I like it. The rear of the car is super nervous under braking and wants to swap ends, the low speed corners even with throttle application want to do the same thing, and getting on the power requires a correction too. Good onboard.
Jace Roberts
There isn't a more forgettable WDC than him

it already has tons of black retard. here the last thing nu f1 cars need is more black and the last thing mclaren needs to do is pretend to be arrows
>Some of you ragazzi are alright. Don't go to work at the Mercedes AMG Petronas garage tomorrow. >Happening thread will be posted tomorrow. >Remember that your Mission is always to Winnow, even the numbers of people.
>when you get dropped by Ferrari after a year for Mick
Christopher Bailey
So if FKino is in the F1 games now, does that mean Codemasters is going to implement a Super License system? I'd find it hard to believe someone who was shit in F2 would be offered a seat in F1.
Colton Butler
Wow take a look at this idiot. Made to look like a fool in front of everyone.

i'd rather see Vettel retiring than Lecute being replaced by SWL.

>"Yeah, Schumacher's car was better than mine and he had all sorts of buttons that my steering wheel didn't have, I would have beaten him otherwise, I swear" >Schumacher gets a 2 race ban >Lehto replaces him >Benetton is leading the WCC by 23 points and Hill is 21 points behind Schumacher so they need Lehto to deliver >qualifies 20th (+2.540) and 14th (+1.761) in a WDC-winning car >finishes 9th (+ 1 lap) in the first race and spins off in the second in a WDC-winning car >0 points in two races in a WDC-winning car >Verstappen gets 2 points >Hill gets 20 points >Coulthard gets 7 points >Williams now leads the WCC by 2 points
Also Benetton's chief engineer at the time talking about Lehto's crash:
>Frank Dernie was present at that fateful test and exclusively revealed “I think Lehto had not expected Schumacher to be as quick as he was. The massive crash he had where he broke his neck was a combination of factors, one was certainly deterioration of the track as the dew dropped. But I am fairly sure Lehto was convinced the damper testing we were doing on his car was the reason for Schumacher being quicker than him earlier. So when we put standard dampers on he was expecting more grip than he got.”
Also:
>On average JJ qualified 2.2 seconds from Schumacher. No driver within a top team has performed so badly compared to their teammate since
This guy was the worst Finnish F1 driver of all time.
From a decent gig at McLaren to fucking nu-Lotus/Catherham. Where did it all go wrong for him?
Carter Nelson
Hamilton happened to him, like it happened to Bottas. Except he was weaker both mentally and as a driver, so it destroyed him. He probably shouldn't have been picked to a top team at that point; he just happened to be at the right place at the right time when Alonso shit the bed at McLaren and engineered a convenient driver swap.
>2020 rules ban copying air inlets and suspensions between teams
How exactly is this going to be enforced?
Luke White
check digits nerds
Oliver Cruz
>launch your car before anyone else >complain to the FIA that your car had air inlets and suspension first >all other cars banned except Mercedes because FIAMG >guaranteed podiums
WHOSE FUCKING HYPE FOR TOMORROW? WILL BOTTAS CONTINUE HIS BEARDED MADMAN MARCH? WAS IT ALL AN ELABORATE SCRIPTED RUSE? WILL HWL RETURN THIS WEEKEND? OR IS SOMETHING ELSE IN STORE FOR US? TUNE IN TO YOUR LOCAL BROADCAST TO FIND OUT youtube.com/watch?v=7_KdfvtLFvk
so wait are they all in the exact same team? i tried looking at their website but it tells me almost fuck all about the actual cars they would be driving.

motorsport.com/f1/news/hamilton-floor-damage-kerbs-debris/4359953/ >There was an assumption made that it was by kerbs, but I didn’t ride any more kerbs than I had done in the past. So it most likely was debris, some debris from other cars losing parts of their cars. It could have been that, but it’s all a guessing game. I didn’t make any mistakes or run wide anywhere to cause the incident. But it was a big loss in performance >NU UH NOT MY FAULT CAR WAS DAMAGED!! Kek@Hamlelton's life, he's disputing James who said it was Hamilton's fault due to aggressive kerb riding. He's now slowly sowing the seeds of discord among Mercedes :D just like in 2016 :DD
Ok mein Schatz ;), but it's not bait. Personally I like the carnage these larger cars bring, like dickhardos hedge trimming and front wing smashing, it adds a level of randomness and uncertainty to the race, since a dated front wing means a lengthy pit stop to replace it
lmao you always says that dude. i dont get it, it just looks stupid to me, because i want to see racing and i dont like randomness. if i want to see carnage, amerika has monster jam lol. also as an american studying french and german, is stuttgart still good? will i be stabbed my doctors and engineers if i do a study abroad there?
Yeah haha they even still have a huge tarp with the SF70 here

Why does Hamilton have such a desire to make everything about him?
Nathan Rogers
Oh you're so fucking right - though I'm going to give DHL FASTEST LAP to AMX after he AMXs his podium place and ends up running fourth behind Vetlel but a pitstop in front of Leclerc

South of Germany is better than north if anything, I hate university cities either way. As for racing, if you want racing you'll have to watch a different series, since F1 is more politics, strategia and luck than racing
