NO REFUNDS

I'm sure there must be a food analogy to settle this debacle

Sala, wtf was he thinking, dying just like that?

The type of 'class' I'd expect from Cardiff desu

Pretty sure it was reported that Cardiff had a £16m insurance policy on Sala. Did that fall through, or are they trying to stiff Nantes on the transer fee AND claim the insurance?

>I dropped my chips outside the kebab shop, can I have my money back?

Cardiff deserve to be relegated over this dishonorable scumbaggery. That will cost them a lot more than the transfer fee.

Whose plane was it?

If I buy something off the internet but it gets destroyed in transit then the delivery company/ their insurance will cover damages.

No, it was the plane that fell through.

Some arrangement set up through his agent. AFAIK neither club was involved in making the travel plans.

kek

NO REFUND FAGGOTS

obviously cardiff

the latter it seems

Salah, no one asked him to die

assume the insurance won't pay out

it wasn't in transit. he completed the signing when he was in cardiff

>The waiter tripped and threw your spaghetti bolognese all over the floor, here's your bill.

Sala got to Cardiff just fine though. He went back to France after completing the transfer to say goodbye to his teammates and get some of his stuff

Sala's family have to pay Nantes' transfer fee
simple as

>my dinner arrived cold and the plate was broken, I'm not paying

It was Sala's agent's father (Willie McKay) who paid for the flight. It was Willie McKay's friend (pilot Dave Henderson) who actually booked the flight with the unqualified pilot who flew the plane. Also, another of Willie McKay's sons, who coincidentally plays or Cardiff City (Jack McKay) along with his twin brother (Paul McKay), helped make arrangements for the flight. Mark McKay (Sala's actual agent) had no involvement in the flight booking process. The whole thing is a massive shitshow.

How much of a nigger must you be to ask for full compensation in such a case?

They should settle that Cardiff pays half and have FIFA write off the transfer from Cardiff's FFP burden, maybe even give them a higher cap for future transfers equal to what they pay. That way both teams can "profit" from the situation, since that's all they seem to care about.

This. Incredibly inconsiderate behaviour.

who booked the flight is irrelevant. the contract was signed and valid, and a part of the money already given to nantes. that means the conttract was valid and cardiff has to cough up the rest of the payment.

Cardiff are scum and should cough up.

(((Insurance)))

shouldn't have to pay for a player that never played lol

kek

shouldn't have signed a player that would never play

>Present player as Cardiff player

>Feign outpouring of grief after he dies

>List him on your website and match programme as a Cardiff player

>Try to jew your way out of paying anyway

For me, it's Cardiff

>He went back to France after completing the transfer to say goodbye to his teammates
it's like he knew..

Apparently the contract was declined by the FA, because the payments were in uneven installments and Sala died before signing a revised draft.

Certainly has to be this. What a sorry mess. At least it means i know now to never trust private light aircraft

>trusting a man named Willie with anything
it's like he wanted to die

"That's the last time you'll slap your Willie around."

hahaha, is that the sneed cartoon?

Idk, you'll have to ask Yea Forums

delet

Ayyyy lmao

What if he had died in a car crash? Would Cardiff still refuse to pay? Jerks

This is the most idiotic fucking logic I've ever seen.

>a team boasts about a new signing
>"he will save us from relegation!"
>dies
>"what transfer fee, he's not our player"

welsh genocide when

>SUBJECT TO INTERNATIONAL CLEARANCE

Anyway, Cardiff fan here. The whole saga is shit and undoubtedly makes the club look bad but I don't know why people are being emotional about it. Nantes decided to ask for payment on the day of his funeral so obviously money is more important to them too. This is just two teams of lawyers sorting out a financial dispute. It's horrible what happened to him but I don't see why that automatically means Nantes deserve the money.

(until he died, then we knew nothing about him)

Probably yes if the paperwork isn't correct.

If you order something online and it gets lost in the mail, you get a refund from the seller and they have to dispute that cost with the postal service.
So basically Nantes needs to charge the plane company for the transfer fee.

what’s 15 million to EPL teams anyway, they waste that on trash constantly

See . Sala didn't get lost in the post. He got to Cardiff and then went back to Nantes after signing

Cardiff's record signing
