He pushed Gnabry out of the positions that he wanted to go, forced him to cut in towards more and more dutch bodies and forced him to produce a worldie just to get a shot off at all. Not only that, but he pushes him towards another dutch player who not only doesn't go for a tackle, but goes so far as to get in Van Dijk's way.

Van Dijk has made mistakes, but this isn't one of them.

Again, I'm not seeing the issue here. He points for the other CB to block the cross getting to the guy running near post, but then sees that he's behind the striker and so he has to step in to prevent that cross. This goal is entirely lost in the RB position.
