You are Neet
You now remember
I'm not, I'm still in college.
not something that one ever forgets desu
You now remember the one time you got bullied
Wish I were a neet desu
technically i am not since i'm registered at my uni
Im 34 years old university graduate working a minimum wage job that i hate
I wish i was neet desu
I hate my job
true
but being neet gives me more time for self-development and enlightenment and letting go of primitive desires and achieving that higher level of consciousness, you know what I mean?
i feel like there is a "too late" for graduating, is it? i too would graduate at about 29 or 30 but i think about jumping the ship before its game over.
I graduated 10 years ago. My degree is worthless.
shouldn't have done gender studies
i see, so relatively speaking i would get it much later than you. well what degree isnt worthless? even being a EE isnt shit if you dont have A grades. cant even find a fucking internship which means i will have to forfeit. what did you do?
we both know you just shitpost on Yea Forums all day brah
it's too easy to take being neet for granted
Psychology.
huh another field which should be respectable in theory but has a total different reality after uni. i guess no matter what field, if you dont exceed above the rest, it doesnt do you any good. well whatever, i dont know about you, but im going to jump onto the programming train. i guess being a code monkey working for 15 bucks per hour is better than being a retail monkey working for 10 bucks per hour. good luck man.
doesn't germany have good wages in production line jobs
why not go for 2 years machining, welding or something like that and go work in a car plant
Based
This
I dropped out and I'm wasting my life, but still "in uni"
Joke's on you! I'm working a shitty full time job on £400 a week and wasting my life away in misery.
I wish I was a NEET. Hopefully Bernie Sanders gets elected so I can live off of the UBI meme until it eventually crashed.
based and redpilled
Same
Isn't that like 18k a year? Pretty standard if you're young/starting, not seeing the issue
this
>pursuing a master degree in lolwhat lolwhere
>parents trust I am doing something productive and give money
>life's fine, there's PhD pursuing after graduation
im doing an apprenticeship and monday is my day off
Not since June 2017.
what you doing lad
>tfw shitposting from work
Literally how us this possible?
This. I could get as much work done only working 5-6 hours a day instead of the 8 I’m here for.
No, I'm actually the best thing you can be in life:
A student in an easy field of study.
I live the life of a NEET without the shame of actually being a NEET.
>Not neet
>Cucking someone
Have I become everything we hate?
what field
I did that for 5 years and now I'm a neet with a degree.
Like war, neetness can't be avoided. It can only be postponed.
Same senpai. If I were allowed to I could complete my work for the day in a few hours and work from home most of the time. Noseberg makes me stay 8-9 hours just so he can ask me dumb questions at the office. Truly suffering.
I get about 3 hours worth of "down time" each day. This time could easily be used for more productive shit but my boss doesn't give a fuck. So I spend that time on Yea Forums
yeah thats an option but honestly i dont want to do such a thing because then my 4 years in engineering would have been 100% a waste. at the very least i want to start something mental where you dont reach a skill cap after two weeks.
Communications studies
I show up to uni once, sometimes twice a week for not more than 3 hours and still have passed every exam with ease so far.
that's a weird way of saying you shitpost on Yea Forums all day except when you're jacking off to progressively more degenerate porn or playing videogames that don't fulfill you anymore
;_;
why are you guys neets, what’s the major factor?
Earlier today i was checking school rankings (neetdom allows me to think of what schools i want my imaginary kids to go to)in my city and found out i went to one of the worst elementary schools in my state. I managed to get a meme stem bachelors but currently unemployed.
I like to tell myself that it’s social anxiety etc. that has me in such a bad place. But real reason is my cowardice.
>tfw I feel for the IT meme
The money is good but the work is so boring
my nigga
after finishing uni I didn't even try applying for jobs
I'm a natural born NEET
what do you do? I want to learn some coding and see if i can land a job, but often hear horror stories from others
upside of field of work having a low skill cap: job demands never exceed that skill level and u can cruise through it with ease. leaves your mental abilities fresh and free for personal pursuits
I have a job. A crappy one, but technically not a neet.
Mostly server maintenance. I got some C++ and Microsoft certifications and landed an entry level position. You learn everything from work. This is all after a 4 year computer science degree too. Its not bad honestly.
wew
>tfw did IT at Uni thinking some ez programming shit would be comfy enough but ended up detesting programming and uni work to the point you dropped out
it's a tough feel lads, don't know what to do now. Unironically had /g/ help me with most of my uni shit before I dropped out
>tfw work 40 hours a week and barely make enough to not starve
Anyone else have this
well interesting point of view
thanks, wagie
Giving up is the hard part honestly. I almost dropped out too but I decided not too and finished with a 3.0 GPA.
>if you're young/starting
I'm not.
>putting zero pressure on leaders to implement a first world minimum wage
Your own fault m8.
How old? Don't say 21 or some shit that's still quite young
My thought process was sort of if I'm hating it this much I probably wouldn't enjoy a job in it
But looking back I haven't done shit since so you know. Don't really even know what to look into anymore
topkek! is this actually a thing?
Me? Yea im a welder
>topkek!
Nice sport faggots
Fuck off chink, Yea Forums is a chad board
Wrong side of 30. I dream of retirement so I can be NEET.
I'm not but I am slowly beginning to fuck things up with drug and alcohol abuse to mask my loneliness.
>Drugs
Thats bad m8
>tfw my friends are all successful, they have started careers and families
i feel like lifes leaving me behind
Not trying to take the piss or anything, how long have you been in work?
shit GCSE's/O levels or something?
I was so averse to it all and so saintly until I saw my best friend since we were five slug a big line of cocaine up his nose one night a few months ago. Then I very quickly learnt that nearly all of my best friends had been doing coke for a year or two and the bottom kind of fell out of me. To be honest I'm in the mind of getting a bit distant from them and making some new pals. I don't do drugs on my own. It's only when they are around and bring them.
iktf bro
Better off finding new people m8, dont ruin your life just because your bored and lonely

Welding is a excellent career choice for a single guy. It provides job security and the satisfaction of building something meant to last. Just be prepared to move to somewhere that has a construction boom of some sort going on.
>Also, watch out for hydrogen embrittlement.
I attended university for two years, left to enjoy NEEThood for 2 years, and returned in August.
I'm going to graduate with an undergraduate degree in 2020 at the age of 24.
My GPA is very good though, and I believe I'll be admitted to a good graduate school if I choose to go that route.
Being a NEET was nice initially, but towards the end of those two years, I was watching all of my friends graduate and either get their first real jobs or go to graduate school, etc. I realized I had completely wasted two years of my life posting on Yea Forums, starting various hobbies and giving them up, etc.
The first step to helping your fucked up situation is to react to it -- you have to analyze it, identify whatever the problem or worry is, accept the consequences, think about the possible solutions, and then choose the best solution. You have to do something.
NEETism is only truly fun when your family is rich. Otherwise you are just dooming yourself.
>after finishing uni I didn't even try applying for jobs

back in the cage, wagie scum
>Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain.
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.
i'll be 45 homeless hanging out and publix for the free samples, coffee, and water, and the rest of the time spent at the beach hoping not to get abducted by a gay serial killer it's tough
Not a neet since I got kicked out home and I am now working in a call center, sightly above the minimum wage but enough to live on my own in a match box. I miss my old home lads.
parents have been together for 50 years, mom made my dad promise not to kick me out if she dies first lol
redpill me on callcenter work
Same here
get paid shit, effectively a slave constantly dealing with customers who don't give a fuck about you, only to be replaced in a year by a robot
Well mom and dad are about to reach retirement age and decided they wanted to enjoy the last 10 years of their life alone.
Telecomunication (?) department so I take calls of people that lost internet or tv cable connections and do remote reset and stare at excel sheets 9 hours a day. Only worth it if you dont have experience in any field because it drains your soul fast and destroys the weak.
sounds like the whole economy in a nutshell
damn man i thought this might be something comfy
terrible parent 2bh lad
i know someone who has "all the certs" and makes low six figures their life is still shit as far as i'm concerned i'd rather kill myself than work and i'd literally drop dead if i tried to work anyway also fuck jews and muslims
I never have time in the day to relax or shitpost because theres always something to do. Ihave to make time to shitpost. What profession are you that you have all this free time.
